View 10 RepliesIs there a way to get moto voice to disappear after use. After a command to send a text message for instance.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhy this happens? Hangouts is working just fine, but when I voice command to send a Hangouts message says "Account not found."
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy phone is broken, and i have since then gotten myself a new phone. But i still cant retrieve my backup on my old phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen my phone vibrates you can really hear the vibration, so if the phone is in my pocket and it vibrates someone next to me would be able.to hear it.Is the vibration suppose to be loud that way?
View 14 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to block unwanted callers on the moto x ? I used to use Mr Number but the hangup feature doesn't work on this phone.
View 11 Replies View RelatedThe volume on the earpiece does not go up quite enough? Maybe it's my old ears. We know the speaker is capable of it, but in a noisy environment, I find myself tapping the volume-up, even though I know I'm at the top already.
View 24 Replies View RelatedSeem some stuttering on his Moto X pure. This isn't the first time I've heard it has some stuttering while other say it's buttery smooth.
View 24 Replies View RelatedSo a few days ago my Moto X Pure rebooted on it's own in the middle of the night, which woke me up a 3AM due to the bright white Moto X splash screen, and I though it was a random one of thing but the yesterday it did it again in the middle of the night and now it has done it 3 times so far today. I'm backing everything up now so I can do a master reset in a bit.
I removed the 2 apps I have installed since then, there are no memory leaks as far as I can see, and the phone otherwise works just like it did when I got it.I'd prefer not to have to do an advanced exchange with Moto but I will if need be, especially since there likely isn't very many 'Like New' Moto X's yet in my exact configuration and I'll probably end up with another new one.
Or maybe I should say how many different methods can be used to initiate a screen capture?
View 22 Replies View RelatedSo, even before i buy the phone, one of the highlights everyone make is:
"You can double-chop to turn the flash on or off. But if you activate the flashlight this way and set the phone face-down, the flashlight will almost immediately turn itself off."
Sounds awesome, so i tried it, double-chop works fine, but the flashlight dont turn itsel off when i put the phone face-down, and i waited a long time hoping the sensors have a delay, i tested in many surfaces and all the same.
It doens't seems to have a setting about this as the phone do it automatically..
So, that's it, i will have to accept it will never work on my phone? I already factory reset the phone after the update to MM, and a few days later.
Never noticed this before but I just got another android phone, Moto X Pure and signed into the phone with my google account. Now I have my name in the contacts with no info except for the name. I also have my name and all info in the contacts. I tried to merge but it won't let anything merge with the user name on the phone. If I have too I will add all of the info manually so there is only one profile in contacts but will I have the same problem when I get another new phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSomething I have noticed since upgrading to Marshmallow, and probably the only thing I don't like, is that music playback, for instance Spotify, will not longer mute whenever the phone is "Speaking." In fact, it doesn't even reduce in volume at all, whenever the phone is giving feedback through Moto Voice all other sounds will continue at full volume as well.
The reason this is an issue for me is that I tend to use the phone as my music source plugged in via an Aux cable, in the past, I could have sworn that other sounds were reduced in volume or muted whenever the phone was "speaking." That made voice commands while in the car driving actually usable, but now they are not anymore. I could use things like talk to me, replying to messages, etc. but if other sounds don't get muted, I can't interact with it at all, there's too much noise with music still going.
I can not print photos or emails with my moto x pure. Whenever I try to print, the phone freezes.
Problem was Samsung plugin left over from my S4...
Is there no way to have a little battery % meter displayed next to the battery icon in the notification bar? It was super easy to find on my M8, but I'm just not seeing the option on here.
View 13 Replies View RelatedGot the Marshmallow update this morning, phones been good for about 14 hours and now all of a sudden while updating apps the phone re-started and has been re-starting ever since. It goes through boot-up screens to the "hand stitched" screen and then shows me a small message indicating it is optimizing 1 of 27 apps like it is doing an upgrade, it will sit on that for a few seconds and then the screen just goes black. After a couple minutes the process starts over again all by itself. It has been sitting here on my desk doing this for about 45 minutes now. Looks like I was able to experience Marshmallow for about a day, going to have to head back to the Nexus 6 (with no Marshmallow yet) and get a hold of Moto.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI clicked "OK, I get it" to get rid of a marshmallow Android update and it went ahead and scheduled it... Now the notification tray shows System Update and I can't get rid of it.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI can't send a decent quality video clip taken with my phone over mms. It will only let me send unwatchable video, even if the video is only five seconds. Is there something I'm missing?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have 2 apps that I prefer to not have notifications from; boom beach and clash of clans. In settings under apps I set both apps to block all notifications, yet they seem to reset themselves to allow all notifications.
View 4 Replies View Relatedmaybe I am just missing something due to this being a unlocked phone - but on Verizon I am noticing my data drops while I am on a call.
View 8 Replies View Related I have one day left before I can return this phone and I just discovered that it does not even see my bit30 nes controller or my sharkk Bluetooth speaker. I have used these devices countless times on my OG X and my nexus 10 (both on 5.1.1) without issue. I have a nexus player and it sees that fine (haven't had a chance to try to connect it yet).
I did some research and all I can find to try is to put it in safe mode and try pairing. It still doesn't see either. Is there anything else I can try? If I can't get this resolved by tomorrow, I am sending it back permanently because I don't want to play risky games with the replacement they will send me.

Reminder: Doze basically sips power when idle. It will have no affect on mythical SOT statistics.
If you have a desk job, you may want to just leave your phone on your desk rather than in your pocket.
Ever since I did this the bluetooth doesn't work!
"7. Enable Developer options (and speed up animations) Moto X Pure Edition Developer Options
No matter which Android device we get, as soon as it boots up we immediately jump into the hidden Developer options and speed up the animations. This will make the entire phone feel so much more responsive and snappy.
Here’s how you do it:
Jump into your Settings app
Scroll down to the bottom and select About phone
Scroll to the bottom and press Build number 7 times
Press back button and select new Developer options at the bottom of Settings
Find window animation scale, transition animation scale, animator duration scale and select .5x for each"
I have since disabled the developer's option but it still will not recognise any bt devices..
I'm running Nova launcher and have checked those settings as well as the X's settings and can't find out how to get rid of the vibration when sliding to unlock.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my MXPE yesterday, and ever since I activated it I'm constantly recieving a notification that I have a voicemail. Every hour my phone will go off telling me I have a new one, but when I access my voicemail there are no messages. I'm on Sprint, and I've called their support and they've walked me through everything from resetting my voicemail to reprogramming the Sprint code in the phone, but it still won't go away.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've just got a Moto X Style and mostly love it (especially coming from my ancient Galaxy S3 which was slowwwww at opening apps)
One problem I'm having though is the seeming inability to turn on or off vibration when I get notifications. I used to use my phone in one of three ways:
1) Outdoors - Ringers/notifications on full volume, plus vibration
2) Indoors - Ringers/notifications quieter, no vibration
3) Bedtime - Ringers on but quiet, notifications silent, no vibration
I can't seem to get anything close to this. Even when I've gone into individual apps and turned off the vibration setting, it still vibrates! And this motor is almost as loud as the sounds!
When I get a new message from WhatsApp it doesn't notify on the top bar, it appears just the icon for this app. If this icon is already there, it doesn't change anything if I've received a new message, (I've to check pulling down the bar to see if I received new messages and who has sent it). My older cellphone used to show the message "Message from..." for like a few seconds, so I could see instantaneously when I'd got new messages.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am using a Blue Ant Q1 Blue Tooth headset and updated to the latest firmware on it. Now when I tell the Blue Ant Voice command the command 'Phone prompt' it connects with my Blackberry Torch 9800 Nuance Voice command option with no problems. Now when I tell the Nuance voice command the numbers of a phone number I want to call, it will repeat it back to me to verifying the number. Now the numbers are clear when the voice command repeats the number I want to call.I swear it really sounds like the very first computer voice ever created, it's all garbled and muddy like. No real clarity in what it is repeating back to me.It is very hard to make out what the voice command is repeating back to me to verify the word I used to describe the number I want it to call. Now, I shut off my Blue Ant Blue Tooth headset and tried the Nuance voice commands with my phone only and I get the same poor quality computer animated voice issues coming out of my Blackberry Torch 9800.Is this normal, I sure hope not, after purchasing what I consider a top quality cell phone. I would expect more clarity with this software from Blackberry and Nuances. This is the one feature that I really need for a cell phone to perform well for me, since I am on the road a lot for my business and needs handsfree dialing.
