Dec 1, 2012i have nokia c5-03.there is no memory card present in my phone. but when i connect my phone to pc through cable the erroe comes in there (memory card not present usb connection may not work as expected) anyone know what's the reason is this.

Feb 27, 2012why my N8 is always showing"Phone start-up failed. Contact retailer" everytime it's low on battery. I need to shut it off and on plenty of times and pray that it wont be in the screen. What to do?And, how do i connect it to a TV to view my videos using the HDMI cable?

Jun 27, 2010when i add contact(s) to contacts bar and call them from there my x6 only shows contacts number. it's the same when they call me. only number, no name. is this normal or something is wrong. p.s. also, few times when i had called someone there was a picture assigned to contact all over the screen (full screen). this happens no more.?

Mar 26, 2010So I've read all the other threads and I realize my issue is that since I recently switched over the Outlook, when I sync my contacts it also sync's my photos and now I wind up with this little crappy photos, which I don't want. I like that my contacts get sync'd so I always have a duplicate copy, but is there anyway to sync contacts without having it copy the pictures over? Or am I screwed? Before I used outlook express which can't sync photos, I never had an issue with that, however Outlook will not use the same contact formats

Oct 16, 2015I stumbled across my google account sync settings, and noticed that my contacts have not synced since July 24! It says "Sync Error" under my google account, and the Contacts has the sync icon with ! next to it, and below it says, "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly.".
I've restarted the phone, then disabled data, restarted phone, enabled data, still no luck. My calendar syncs no problem. I don't want to delete my google account and re-add it, as I have most likely added contacts on the phone since 7/24, and they would be lost.
Nokia Lumia :: Incoming Call Shows Incorrect Contact?
Sep 24, 2012Our office recently bought a handful of the Nokia Lumia 880 phones for our "out of office" staff. These phones have all been updated to the latest versions of the software/firmware using Zune on a desktop.
There still appears to be a problem with incoming calls showing the incorrect contact. It appears to be ignoring the first 4 digits of the phone number and only matches the last part. We live in Australia and have to mobile syntax of 04 XXXX XXXX. Numbers saved in the phone are saved without spaces like: 0401234567
Here's an example of how to repeat the bug.
Say this is a friends number: 0450100200 and you have that saved in your phone as Friend 1
If you have a second friend with a similar number on a different network like: 0417100200 and Friend 2 calls you, the contact name for Friend 1 will appear on the call screen.
We tested this theory by adding my number into the phone as a brand new contact, but we changed the first few digits of the number. My phone number was not originally in the phone, but when I called, my name appeared on the screen, even though the number saved was different to my actual number.
I don't know whether anyone else has this issue, but I would like to get it resolved. It seems sloppy design for the numbers to be loosly matched like this.
BB Curve :: 9300 - Outlook Contact Sync / Unknown Error
Dec 12, 2010We recently upgraded my wife's Blackberry to a Curve 3G 9330. When we try to sync to Outlook (non-Exchange), we encounter an error with the contacts (address book). The Desktop Software simply indicates an "unknown error" - not particularly facilitate. We've narrowed it down to a potentially bad contact record on the Blackberry, but cannot find a way to delete it. The options menu will not come up on the Blackberry for this one record. We've try to sync the device by overwriting the contacts with new data from Outlook, but still get's the same error message. I cannot find any information on erasing/deleting the complete contact list on the Blackberry.

Jan 4, 2013Nokia energy profiler shows 1320 mAh as battery capacity for my 808 while the quoted capacilty is 1400 mAh. To double check I also bought PhoneInfoNet from store and checked. IT also shows same thig. Is this reading reliable? Do you folks think it is a battery issue? I can get the battery replaced as the phone is a new one.

Everything is ok in History of calls, it shows the correct names also when im calling or texting, but when I go to Contacts everyone is called (bez nazwy) which means in PL (no name). It happened one day that I noticed all contacts changed to the no name ones, so I tried to format card and phone memory, restore defult settings. After it I cant install Ogi Store on my phone :/ but the error with Contacts came back. Numbers saved on SIM works properly only those on the card memory seems to have no name.

Feb 3, 2012I came to Symbian S60 v.5 and Symbian Anna from Sony Ericsson (UIQ3), and I have found some shortcomings on the Nokia OS. F.i. if I need to open a contact from the call log or sms - I can't see a way to do that with Nokia OS. With UIQ3 this was very easy. In stead I will have to open the contact list and find the contact there. There are still some of us who use the device as a phone, and not an mp3-player or internet browser.

Aug 18, 2011Every now and then my Nokia N8 contact list freezes when I try to select a contact fom the list, when starting a call or by accessing the contact list directly. A reboot, factory reset nor firmware reinstalling doesn't solve the problem, it only works temporarily. When the list freezes I am able to swipe through it up and down, though selecting contacts is not possible. I do see a cursor blinking in the lower half of the screen, at the position where the search window normally is. The search window itself is vanished.

At times, I have seen that when I receive a call from the person who is already added in my contact list, the phone is just displaying the number and not the name of the person. When I check the Log, it also displays the number and not the name of the person.
I have imported my contact list from my previous handset (Nokia N70) where it worked absolutely fine. It is quite inconvenient to identify the caller without the name and decide whether to accept or reject during work hours and have at times missed some important calls due to that.

For example, my wife is "Looby Lou", the artificial voice is Stephen Hawking saying "Lobby Loo". So, I tried both "Looby Lou" and "Lobby Loo". I got one "No match found" and one "Ardalanish". Jul 6, 2010I recently got an E72 instead of an E71. With my E72 I now have problems syncing my contact to the exchange server. Intial sync works fine. Resyncs won't work. I tried to empty my contacts on the exchange server. Do a intial resync. All contacts gone on E72. Create one contact. No sync anymore. In the admin_log I find an error "status from server indicates a server error" and an error code "Mail For Exchange Error -15006".
