I recently got an E72 instead of an E71. With my E72 I now have problems syncing my contact to the exchange server. Intial sync works fine. Resyncs won't work. I tried to empty my contacts on the exchange server. Do a intial resync. All contacts gone on E72. Create one contact. No sync anymore. In the admin_log I find an error "status from server indicates a server error" and an error code "Mail For Exchange Error -15006".

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 5800 that I have been troubleshooting for the past Month. We have been to the provider who has now replaced the phone twice in the past two months. Calling out appears to be fine. However when customizing the phone I am unable to set picture and a ringtone to a contact in the contact list. The Contact is saved on the phone. When the person dials in the picture will display correctly but the ringtone will play a default ring not a custom file as selected. This has heppened on all 3 of the phones. I am down to the OS of the phone which the provider says is up to date.

After finishing the call, the screen goes back to main menu.... but the contacts-app sticks active in the background. In order to close that, i have to long-press the button, switch to contacts, and close. Which is a little bit fussily.....
View 4 Replies View RelatedI wonder if anyone can help me. I am using the nokia 5310 and even though I am using a sim card with all my names stored in it, when I get a call or a text from someone who is in my phonebook it still just shows up as a number.
Also the names are not in order in my phone book.I am using this phone in Canada, and I got it from Ireland so the time on my incoming messages is 5 hours behind.So many issues!!
old storm 1 worked great up until the key board on the phone quit. went to verizon, they couldn't fix it and so i got a new storm2. that is where the trouble started. they down loaded the contact list to the new phone and for some reason everything appeared 4 times. they couldn't fix and after a lot of hell and a wipe of my desktop manager and a new download i have managed to erase the contacts from my phone. however, now the contact list on the phone will not come up and of course the sync still doesn not happen. it shows to be syncing but it always quits with 2 remaining and i get the dreaded error message and then the manager shuts down. the calendar did sync finally and that is working. the emails work and i can make a call as long as i remember the number. i have turned off the picture sync as the forums said that could be the problem.

I'd just plug in my phone, launch the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and boom, contacts synced.Now, even though there are changes, the synchronization process starts, but it never updates anything. View 1 Replies View RelatedWell I am a developer and downloaded the official 4.1 gm from apple and installed. Every thing seemed fine until someone sent me a text and only the phone number showed up and not their name, went to contacts and saw that they did not sync with MobileMe. I tried toggling contacts in settings, did not help, I also tried deleting MobileMe account and resetting it up, nothing seems to work. I checked my MobileMe account and all the contacts are still there, I also checked my iPad and the contacts are still syncing there fine. One other thing is the calendar and book marks don't sync either.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I've read all the other threads and I realize my issue is that since I recently switched over the Outlook, when I sync my contacts it also sync's my photos and now I wind up with this little crappy photos, which I don't want. I like that my contacts get sync'd so I always have a duplicate copy, but is there anyway to sync contacts without having it copy the pictures over? Or am I screwed? Before I used outlook express which can't sync photos, I never had an issue with that, however Outlook will not use the same contact formats

1. that email always show "not available" on wireless sync on the contact list properties. while my Gmail email has option yes/no wireless sync.
2. also it doesn't show on the SYNC contact list on default services
3. how I can merge all my backup emails, to be just 1 email for backup data?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI stumbled across my google account sync settings, and noticed that my contacts have not synced since July 24! It says "Sync Error" under my google account, and the Contacts has the sync icon with ! next to it, and below it says, "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly.".
I've restarted the phone, then disabled data, restarted phone, enabled data, still no luck. My calendar syncs no problem. I don't want to delete my google account and re-add it, as I have most likely added contacts on the phone since 7/24, and they would be lost.
I lost the ability to sync my Google plus contact to my phone contact. I have tried multiple factory resets to remedy this. Why won't it sync.

View 3 Replies View RelatedA week ago I installed IOS5.1 on my mothers iPhone 4 through her iMac and iTunes account. I thought everything went well, but unfortunately, while her contacts are still in her contactlist, when she tries to use a contact and clicks it, the contactlist disappears and she's send back to the mainscreen of her iPhone. I've tried to synchronize the contacts again and even restored her iPhone through iTunes, but after both attempts I received the same error: "Synchronizing isn't possible because your iPhone uses the contactlist. Close it in your Contact settings and try again." But when I try to open 'Settings>E-mail, contacts, agenda' it closes immediately and I'm send back to the mainscreen of the iPhone again..

View 1 Replies View RelatedI broke the screen of my 6280 so used a different phone for a while and now that I've repaired it and put the sim card back in the phone displays the number rather than the name in the text inbox. When I try to add the number to the contact it says it's in use for the contact bla bla. The numbers get displayed in the +44 format and are saved in the domestion 07xx format but I can't overwrite it because it then recognises the number.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAnytime I add a contact detail via the handset if I let it sync, either via Google or SE, the contact will be wiped which is pretty useless (basically I cannot add new contacts on the handset, proposterous!). they recommended I use the software update program to update the handset software. I have done this but the update software tells me the handset is running the latest software, the problem persists.
