I broke my old Iphone so i synced my contacts to windows contacts. I got my new iphone and synced the contacts over. The contacts come up but the numbers don't come over with it. The numbers show in windows contacts though.
View 4 RepliesSo I've read all the other threads and I realize my issue is that since I recently switched over the Outlook, when I sync my contacts it also sync's my photos and now I wind up with this little crappy photos, which I don't want. I like that my contacts get sync'd so I always have a duplicate copy, but is there anyway to sync contacts without having it copy the pictures over? Or am I screwed? Before I used outlook express which can't sync photos, I never had an issue with that, however Outlook will not use the same contact formats
View 4 Replies View RelatedI stumbled across my google account sync settings, and noticed that my contacts have not synced since July 24! It says "Sync Error" under my google account, and the Contacts has the sync icon with ! next to it, and below it says, "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly.".
I've restarted the phone, then disabled data, restarted phone, enabled data, still no luck. My calendar syncs no problem. I don't want to delete my google account and re-add it, as I have most likely added contacts on the phone since 7/24, and they would be lost.
Tried everything but no results the error is attached. Cant access my contacts on N8-00 by any ways.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWe recently upgraded my wife's Blackberry to a Curve 3G 9330. When we try to sync to Outlook (non-Exchange), we encounter an error with the contacts (address book). The Desktop Software simply indicates an "unknown error" - not particularly facilitate. We've narrowed it down to a potentially bad contact record on the Blackberry, but cannot find a way to delete it. The options menu will not come up on the Blackberry for this one record. We've try to sync the device by overwriting the contacts with new data from Outlook, but still get's the same error message. I cannot find any information on erasing/deleting the complete contact list on the Blackberry.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWell I am a developer and downloaded the official 4.1 gm from apple and installed. Every thing seemed fine until someone sent me a text and only the phone number showed up and not their name, went to contacts and saw that they did not sync with MobileMe. I tried toggling contacts in settings, did not help, I also tried deleting MobileMe account and resetting it up, nothing seems to work. I checked my MobileMe account and all the contacts are still there, I also checked my iPad and the contacts are still syncing there fine. One other thing is the calendar and book marks don't sync either.

I thought everything went well, but unfortunately, while her contacts are still in her contactlist, when she tries to use a contact and clicks it, the contactlist disappears and she's send back to the mainscreen of her iPhone. I've tried to synchronize the contacts again and even restored her iPhone through iTunes, but after both attempts I received the same error: "Synchronizing isn't possible because your iPhone uses the contactlist. Close it in your Contact settings and try again." But when I try to open 'Settings>E-mail, contacts, agenda' it closes immediately and I'm send back to the mainscreen of the iPhone again..

Unfortunately, unlike every other iPhone user, his Contacts have not been sync'ing with Outlook. I know I can go into "Settings", "Mail, Contacts, Calendar", Contacts and "Default Account" and change it here. However, I do not want to lose any of these iPhone Contacts. I would like to be able to back them up, and then sync them into Outlook.

I get new phone restored and try using BB desktop to sync my Outlook contact list with phone. It wants to errase all contacts and then add all of them back in each time. Also get an error at the end of sync "During sync, some of the records were invalid. View 9 Replies View RelatedI have loads of people in my contacts who have signed up on the day for newsletters/specials etc. When a customer asks to be removed from our distribution list, I always cut their contact details from the mobile and email fields and paste into their notes. This way, when I send out an update to everyone on the list, the contact doesn't receive it but I still have their details if they need me to contact them personally. I do this cut and paste on my 5s (OS up to date), on Outlook 2013 (Windows 8.1) and iCloud.Â
The problem I've been having lately is that when I sync my iPhone with iTunes (up to date), it somehow puts the more recent contacts' phone number and email back into the fields on both iPhone and Outlook. I have been doing this for a long time and have quite a few regular customers who opted out a while ago. Their fields are empty and their contact details are in their notes.

I used to synch my Iphone both wirless and via USB, with no problem at all, but this past week I've been trying to transfer some apps, which sometimes doesn't work wirelessly and I keep getting this error, I plug it in and it starts going crazy like if I was plugin and un-plugin the cable really fast, and at the end I get that message.
