I used to synch my Iphone both wirless and via USB, with no problem at all, but this past week I've been trying to transfer some apps, which sometimes doesn't work wirelessly and I keep getting this error, I plug it in and it starts going crazy like if I was plugin and un-plugin the cable really fast, and at the end I get that message. Anybody knows what it is?, the port seems to be working fine with everything else, and the cable charges the iphone normally on the wall.

after dropping my Iphone 4 on the floor it can't connect to my PC, the error i am getting in Itunes is "Itunes was not able to establish connection to this iphone, caused by unknown error 0xE8000001". Itunes suggest to go into an applestore and get it solved but since third party has replaced the screen will apple not touch it....I have tred to uninstall itunes after closing down a few apple files via "task manager" and hard restored the Iphone but the phone will not acctivate, only get to the screen saying "connect to itunes". when i plug in a fully functional USB cable in a fully functional USB plug in my PC (windows 7, 64bit) does the phone connect and disconnect with the PC a few times, sometimes it keep on connecting/disconnecting but when the phone able to establish connection do i get a box saying "error 0xE8000001" and when clicking on the phone can i see its charging the battery but no possibilities to make a firmware restore or anything els. (have only the option to "eject" the iphone). is it possible to go one more step back than "hard restore" so the phone need to reinstall all hardware ect ect?
Can't sync my iPhone 4 with my iTunes. Message "Can not connect to this iPhone (0xE8000001)" appears. What is wrong? iTunes ver. 10.6.1, MacOS 10.5.8, PowerBook G4 1,67GHz. This iPhone connects to Itunes on another Mac (Intel). My local Mac-service technician said that my configuration should work. I have tried rebooting, re-installing iTunes, resetting the iPhone to factory settings.
I get new phone restored and try using BB desktop to sync my Outlook contact list with phone. It wants to errase all contacts and then add all of them back in each time. Also get an error at the end of sync "During sync, some of the records were invalid. The following 1 records were skipped:Address Book: Device - 0Microsoft Outlook - 1 Do you want to view the sync log for more details Yes / No" Never did this with last phone.
I downloaded a leaked OTA link for the new Twitter app and after a reboot I get this error message after halfway through booting up - "JUM error 545".I have mac and blackberry desktop manage, but can't see to get it hooked up because it just keeps reading that error message and won't sync with the mac.
I broke my old Iphone so i synced my contacts to windows contacts. I got my new iphone and synced the contacts over. The contacts come up but the numbers don't come over with it. The numbers show in windows contacts though.
Trying to sync music from my mac to the iphone and some songs are transferred and work but many I can see but not play in the iphone. I get an error message when sync the it was not successful and should check iTune....
So I've read all the other threads and I realize my issue is that since I recently switched over the Outlook, when I sync my contacts it also sync's my photos and now I wind up with this little crappy photos, which I don't want. I like that my contacts get sync'd so I always have a duplicate copy, but is there anyway to sync contacts without having it copy the pictures over? Or am I screwed? Before I used outlook express which can't sync photos, I never had an issue with that, however Outlook will not use the same contact formats
First off, yes I have read everything available and I am able to successfully sync my phone, but I have to uncheck "sync music" and sync, then recheck "sync music" to put music back on my phone.
What is a permanent solution to this? I can't do that everytime because it takes hours to take off 30 gigs of music, sync and then put 30 gigs of music back on.
Anyone know? Is there a corrupted music file or something cause the problem?I know it's asking alot of, but I would be tickled pink if I could just sync my phone twice in a row without having to jump through hoops...
I'm getting the "iphone could be synced because the sync session failed to start" I have read the previous posts on this subject, which have been focussed on beta versions. This is a new problem I'm having.I've updated to the latest iTunes offered to my MBP running 10.6.8. My itunes is 10.6.1 (7) and my iphone is 5.1 ith no updates avail. I thought it may be due to not having enough free space on the iphone so I'm deleting many photos and voicemails, memos, etc, but deleting them is not working. I wanted to sync/back them up and then delete.
I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 7.2.1 but when I connect to my computer to sync Outlook it says the iPhone needs iTunes 11.1 - didn't iTunes update when I upgraded the iOS?
I cannot sync my iPhone 4s to iCloud. I keep getting error message "-50" from iTunes. I do have enough space on the cloud because I purchased a $20 1year space. My is also has an error: Not enough space to sync.
itunes keeps giving me an error message when I try to sync my phone, and advises me to restore my phone to the factory settings. Will resotring the factory settings erase all the contents of my phone?
I forgot passcode on my iphone5 and tried to restore it through itunes on my PC. However it gave me an error message saying that that my phone could't be restored due to an unknown error. Now my phone does't turn off and it doesn't sync with itunes.
I have a new replacement 4s. I am trying to set it up. I hate iCloud but need it to sync my calendar to my phone. I mistakenly set it up to sync Contacts too and found out it synced ALL contacts which I do NOT want. I used to use iTunes to sync only selected contact folders (one I call Sync). Others are too sensitive to have on my phone. So I turned off "where is my iPhone", and turned off "Contacts" on iCloud. It said it would delete all my contacts on my phone the next time I sync (using iTunes). So I try to sync my Contacts using iTunes and find that under "Info" on the device tabs my only possible selection is ALL contacts with the "Selected" button greyed out. But even leaving all checked, I get the message "iTunes cannot sync information with the iPhone because syncing has been disabled on this computer (my Mac). Do you want to enable syncing?" I hit the button "Enable syncing" and I get the error message "Syncing cannot be enabled on this computer" with "Override" and "OK" my choices. If I select "OK" I get the error message "iTunes could not sync information to the iPhone (Name) because a sync session could not be started". I can sync my music and my apps but get this stupid message otherwise.
