on N97 mini it is possible to put shortcut for internet bookmark on the home screen. However, I don't know, how it is possible to change the icon which is automatically set to the sheet of paper with the globe? Is this possible at all?

have a 8520 with OS5 Is it possible to have a message or icon on the lock screen indicating number of received SMS or emails seperately instead of just the total showing in the status bar. I did see the app Ultimate Lock which does this but it isn't compatible with my phone

I plan to back up these files nightly.If not all possible, at least let me know the contact and bookmark folders. These folders are important to me for my nightly backup.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using an iPhone 4 with the 5.1 iOS. I downloaded an app for LG which turned out to be just a Safari bookmark with an app icon. It looks like a regular app but when you click it - Safari opens and it takes you to the LG webpage. Now I want to get rid of it and I can't. It doesn't appear in the list of apps in iTunes in the Sync Apps area, although it does show up on the phone and in the phone panel in iTunes. When I click on the app icon in itunes (in the phone panel) - it highlights it, but there's no X, and right-clicking doesn't do anything and pressing doesn't do anything either. It does not appear in my list of bookmarks in Safari either.

After upgrading to Gingerbread I have a bookmark that I cannot delete. It is not on of the Verizon bookmarks etc etc, it is one of a site I visited. It is the following...

The bookmark has a little lock near the title... when I long press on the bookmark I do get the "delete" choice, which I of course choose. But the gookmark is still there.
After installing the bookmarks app, I logged in with my Google account email address and password. Then, I saw a prompt to "Sync" and I clicked on it.After that, I expected to be able to access my bookmarks, but each search comes up with a blank page. What have I missed?

Dolphin will sync to google but as far as I can tell this only let's you save to google, there does not seem to be a mechanism to "path" Dolphin out to Dropbox. Just updated to 3.1 and noticed that the bookmark widget on my home page is now missing the other folders link. Have removed and recreated the widget and rebooted xoom but problem persists.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm using a PAYG with Virgin UK and it loggs on to T-Mobile on some occasions as there is apparently a network sharing between Virgin and T-Mobile.However, T-Mobile has set a bookmark www.t-zones.co.uk in the Nokia browser (and made it startup page so it goes straight there when you open the browser). The "delete" and "edit" options don't exist on this one. Auto-bookmarks are off in the settings.

I just upgraded to 2.3.4 which includes the Firefox 4.0 update and my saved web apps now open as widows in Firefox. The option to save a bookmark as a Web Application also seems to be missing now.

1. I've downloaded the Facebook "bookmark", but I'm not sure where this is found?? I thought it would be an icon, that I could then add to the home screen? If it IS, then how do I find it, and do this?
2. Is it possible to add my iTunes catalogue, or a part of it, to my BB - are they compatible in any way?

Now I have the E72, but i've been trying to talk my wife into having the N97 mini, but she says why don't I have the N87 and she can have my E72, well for me, it's literally a coin toss, they both have features i Like, both have the mandatory 5mp camera, both have wifi, compass, gps all the high end features... but the N97 mini offers a nice big keyboard where as the E72 does not but the E72 offers extra frequencies which work with high speed on other networks.So for me it comes down to build quality and i can't fault the E72, in all honesty if I had of just bought an N97 mini (instead ot the E72 just 1 week ago) i'd probably wish to keep the N97 mini.So i have an E72 1 week old,, and my wife's contract ends in only a couple of months, so now were looking at an upgrade for her.have no idea which i prefer, anyone got both or played with both the E72 and the N97 mini, what's your advice? I can't really fault the E72, im scared the N97 mini will break in 10 minutes.
When i try to locate my position I always go to problems. This is how I'm doing it so you correct me if I'm wrong.
Applications->location->GPS data->an it says: serching for GPS devices-> calculating GPS data-> and after 30 seconds it said that GPS works poorly indors and closed spaces.
This prosess its been done always and I belive that is why I cant use navigatin option on downloaded maps.
I have just noticed the new nokia maps thing on the front page and was just wondering if the drive navigation was a trial. And if it ever connects to the internet without warning as I am not on a umlimted data plan.

Anyone else having issues getting the N97 mini to charge from their car, I bought the DC-6 as it's listed as compatible but nothing happens when I plug it in - I've tested this with the engine both running and not turned on. The car socket is working, tested with another device. Also just as an extra design point - it would have been nice for Nokia to put an LED on the charger to let you know when power was getting to the device.
