Mar 23, 2012I turn on iPhone 4s with the 5.1 software and 12 empty invisable bookpmark folders appear on the last page. I delete them. Next time I reboot they appear again.

May 15, 2015So I have two basic things down. In your home screen or the subsequent screens when you move one shortcut on top of another it gives you the opportunity to create a folder. You can even change the color of these folders. I have created an AT&T folder, Google folder, Samsung folder, Microsoft, and Social (Facebook, Instagram, twitter).
But I wanted to create a folder called "media" or "sports" With apps like Pandora, ESPN, Fox news, Milk, Watch ESPN, NBC Live. To get to all of these apps right now they are in the 12 square little white apps logo down at the bottom by the calendar. When I go into my apps that are alphabetical a through Z. and I try to move one on top of the other by holding it down it takes that app and puts it on one of my home screen. I tried dragging it to the right and then I just create another screen with one icon on it. I have a folder in there, trying to figure out how I even did that?? I know if you click the edit button you get a little - up in a corner of each symbol but I don't want to delete them. I would just like to put ESPN on top of Fox 2 Go, and NBC Live And create a folder called "sports."
I thought about dragging all of these onto a blank page and then create my folder there, but how do I move it back under the "app" it is actually 4x4 white squares. It's just confusing going back and forth because it doesn't seem like it wants you to.
Nokia X6 :: Play List Not Creating Seprate Folders As Per PC?
May 18, 2010I have downloaded a compilation album to my PC in MP3 format and created subsequent folders for each CD in the album (CD1, CD2 and CD3). Each CD has 20 MP3 tracks in and each has included track listings 1- 20, this is the same for all 3 folders. When I drag and drop the 3 folders to my X6 (mass storage folder) it says it has copied 3 folders. When I remove the X6 from the PC and go to play the album, the X6 has created 1 folder with 60 tracks in, and the tracks are listed in track order, so the order goes 1,1,1,2, 2,2,3,3, 3, which is a pain as the album is a dance music album and the tracks are supposed to mix into the next track. Why doesn't the X6 created 3 separate folders as per the PC? Failing an answer for the above does anybody know how to edit the track listing number field on my PC (running XP)?

When I plug it into the computer it's very confusing viewing the latest photos because of this. In DCIM folder I now have "823WGTMA", "858HDJES", "860OKMZO", and "965YOKDJ". Every once in a while a new folder is created, seemingly at random times. These names make no sense, I can't rename them, I can't simply move the photos all into one folder, and I can't even see some of my photos from previous phones. This is a complete mess right now.Â

Aug 26, 2013Having owned several iPhones, iPods, and numerous mp3 players, I am still unable to create or edit a playlist in Windows Explorer on my Lumia 1020. I have more than 2000 songs on the phone and would like to be able to make several playlists the easy way. Inside the playlist folder I can find no way to make, edit or add songs to a playlist. I would hate to have to put all my music into iTunes again and then sync and transfer it to the phone. Likewise, I would hate to try to use Windows Media Player and sync and transfer that to the Windows 8 phone.

Aug 14, 2011Noticed yesterday that my bookmarks on the Xoom were not syncing any longer. When I looked in Settings/Accounts & Sync, the Chrome portion showed a white life-raft indicator & when I click on it to initiate a sync it always ends with an error - red exclamation point at the bottom of this screen. I do have quite a lot of bookmarks so I wondered if maybe that was the issue so I tried deleting all on the tablet and syncing with a different account that has no bookmarks. Same sync error occurs. Have also tried a FC and 'delete data' for the Browser app from Settings/Applications (multiple times) but it still won't sync with either account.
Just wondering if this is something just happening to me or if there's perhaps an outage at Google that's affecting others' Browser syncing. Anyone have any other suggestions for getting this working again other than doing a factory reset? That's probably the next thing I will try, once I make a list of all my 3rd party applications so I can re-install them later. Incidentally the Xoom is a US WiFi model, non-rooted, with the OTA 3.2 update in place. As far as I know this problem only started a few days ago, well after the 3.2 update.

May 26, 2015Can't see contents of some folders when connected to windows 8 pc, ie if I open my comics folder I can see all of my CBR files right away. If I open my movies folder its blank, no avi files. The kicker is if I copy and past the .avi files on the phone then past them to another folder, ie the books folder, it shoes the .avi files when I look for them while connected tovm PC.

Mar 27, 2012I'm using an iPhone 4 with the 5.1 iOS. I downloaded an app for LG which turned out to be just a Safari bookmark with an app icon. It looks like a regular app but when you click it - Safari opens and it takes you to the LG webpage. Now I want to get rid of it and I can't. It doesn't appear in the list of apps in iTunes in the Sync Apps area, although it does show up on the phone and in the phone panel in iTunes. When I click on the app icon in itunes (in the phone panel) - it highlights it, but there's no X, and right-clicking doesn't do anything and pressing doesn't do anything either. It does not appear in my list of bookmarks in Safari either.
