I just bought the wifi xoom model and I need to get my music on it. I use napster and need to get it to recognize my xoom. I also tried to get my music from windows media center and it recognized my device but said it couldn't sync but gave no reason why.
View 6 RepliesThe Sprint manual says you can download music via Windows Media Player or MML , but once you load your music via Media Player, if you use then Motorola you will end up with two seperate files that will use your memory. From the Media player you will have a file called Music,and from Motorola you will have a file MML Mobile.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter being a huge advocate for Windows Phone I'm just about done with it after moving from WP7.5 and Zune to WP8.I can't sync anything using Windows Media Player. I put stuff in the sync list and it looks like it syncs then I check the sync status and everything has "error" in the status and nothing has copied. Doesn't matter if it's songs I own or subscription - nothing syncs through media player. I think I did get it to sync to my wife's 620.
According to MSFT this will not let me sync Zune subscription which is another issue I have - and the biggest issue is that I can't sync playlists period. They show up with 0 songs when I sync using the Windows Phone App. But I was hoping using Media Player might solve that but it's not working.I'm using WIndows 7 on my PC. I'm a long time Zune user/promoter. Right now I can't get music on my phone in any reasonable fashion.

Using a W995 with latest firmware and Media Go 1.4 and trying to sync MP3s onto an 8Gb memory stick inside the phone. It seems to be all configured correctly and I can play the music on the W995 once the process completes but it takes ages to sync (about 1Mb per minute). I have looked around on the internet to try to find some help but have come up empty.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I browse the files in my Xoom MZ604 using Windows the display shows Name, Type, Size, Track, Artist, Album, Year, Duration. The files are mainly jpeg images, I could see Name, Size, Take Taken and Tags. This is what Windows Displays for my internal and external hard drives.
Why does Winodws not regard the MZ604 in the same way? Is there any way to inform Windows that the tablet is actually external storage, or a separate computer?
So I had music on my xoom but accidently deleted it. I tried going in my computer files to copy and paste songs from my itunes into my folder on xoom called music but says wrong format. I don't know what to do.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my Droid X for about 6 months and until now have been able to sync music to it with no problem. I have a subscription to the Zune Pass so the files that I sync are DRM protected. Windows Media Player is the only software I know of that can successfully sync these files to my phone. That is until recently. While I am still able to syne non-DRM Mp3's, suddenly now when I try to sync any Zune Pass files (which are WMA files), I get an error telling me that the "device's internal clock is not correct". how I can solve the problem but none of them have worked. One suggestion had me go into WMP's Privacy tab in its Tools menu and select the option to "Set clock on devices automatically", but the option was already selected.
How can I check if my device's internal clock is off? What could I have done to mess it up in the first place?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden, when I plug my Xoom via USB into either of my computers (Win 7 x32 or Win 7 x64) the computer recognizes the Xoom, I can see the Internal Storage and the SD Card, but when I open either of these, I see no files. THe only directory that shows up on the Internal Storage is the Android directory.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI just recently upgraded my Xoom to ICS and linked it up to my companies Outlook using Active Exchange. Everything is working fine except for syncing my contacts. I have subfolders under my Contacts folder (e.g. Work, Personal, etc.) that are not visible/syncing. Is there a way either within the native e-mail client or an app that will let me sync the contacts subfolders? I do not want to root the Xoom. My iPhone does this natively but I'm not sure that ICS can.
View 1 Replies View RelatedNoticed yesterday that my bookmarks on the Xoom were not syncing any longer. When I looked in Settings/Accounts & Sync, the Chrome portion showed a white life-raft indicator & when I click on it to initiate a sync it always ends with an error - red exclamation point at the bottom of this screen. I do have quite a lot of bookmarks so I wondered if maybe that was the issue so I tried deleting all on the tablet and syncing with a different account that has no bookmarks. Same sync error occurs. Have also tried a FC and 'delete data' for the Browser app from Settings/Applications (multiple times) but it still won't sync with either account.
Just wondering if this is something just happening to me or if there's perhaps an outage at Google that's affecting others' Browser syncing. Anyone have any other suggestions for getting this working again other than doing a factory reset? That's probably the next thing I will try, once I make a list of all my 3rd party applications so I can re-install them later. Incidentally the Xoom is a US WiFi model, non-rooted, with the OTA 3.2 update in place. As far as I know this problem only started a few days ago, well after the 3.2 update.
I have my Picasa synced to auto sync. Any new uploads to the website will sync to the tablet. The problem I am having is that my upload folders I see, through my tablet, are showing old folders that have been deleted, as well as not showing new folders that I created through the website. This was working on the 3.0 version then all of a sudden stopped. I was hoping with the 3.1 upgrade that it would work, but it is still not working. This tablet is not unlocked. I tried unsyncing and resyncing the tablet, but it just does not want to forget. This tablet is encypted using the option through the system. This is a Verizon 3G tablet.

In the calendar, only SOME of my appointments show up. I figured out that it is certain categories that don't make it through... Personal, Networking, etc don't work but Business, Vacation, Firm Event, etc do. It's quite strange.

Downloaded a few ebooks from our regional library, but the reader hangs when loading them after download. Uninstall/reinstall gives the same problem.
No online tech support from overdrive, no results when searched for similar problems. My phone is an evo 4g with 2.3, will try it when I have a chance.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue that has been plaguing me for quite some time now. It's seemed to get worse over time as well. The issue is when I click on something which would normally launch another application or window, the screen slightly dims and nothing happens. I tap the screen again and the brightness returns as if the window that was open is closed now. This IS NOT a screen brightness issue.for instance, I go into the "Videos" app and tap on a video shot from the xoom. The screen slightly darkens and then nothing happens. No video shows. Not even the player. Another example is in Gmail. I can click on a link to a website and the screen darkens and nothing happens. Tapping on the screen brings the original brightness back. Yet another example is from the gallery, I tap on the video I want to watch and it opens up the player. I tap play and the screen darkens up and nothing happens.I've tried a "hard" reset using volume up and power simultaneously to no avail. I have also deleted/removed all of my apps I have installed in the last month to month and a half
