Motorola Xoom :: Get The Wide-vine Media Transformer Plugin?

DishOnline requires the Widevine Mediatransformer Plugin, so not functional on the Xoom, only Win and Mac versions available, athough Chrome under Win is supported.When will this be available for the Xoom? Google bought Widevine last year.HBO GO and MAX GO both work from their websites, with uastring set to desktop using the about:debug workaround. However, they are unusable due to constant buffering delays. My connection is 10 mb dsl , so that is likely a bandwidth limitation on their end. Same problem with buffering occurs with my laptop, on which the same movies stream HQ without problems through DishOnline.A number of online posts indicated that the Widevine DRM software is already in android.

As the title suggests, ASUS have said that the 3.1 update will be available OTA from tomorrow! This just speaks volumes for Motorola.

I have a Motorola Droid 2 and my girlfriend has a Droid X. We are able to share media files between the phones as long as we are on the same WIFI network. We use an application that came with the phones called Media Share. Is there a way that I can do the same with my Xoom?

Just installed overdrive media connector to 3.2, hadn't tried it in 3.1. The sample audio welcome file downloads and plays as expected, and program navigation is as expected.
Downloaded a few ebooks from our regional library, but the reader hangs when loading them after download. Uninstall/reinstall gives the same problem.
No online tech support from overdrive, no results when searched for similar problems. My phone is an evo 4g with 2.3, will try it when I have a chance.

I just bought the wifi xoom model and I need to get my music on it. I use napster and need to get it to recognize my xoom. I also tried to get my music from windows media center and it recognized my device but said it couldn't sync but gave no reason why.

I put a couple of albums on a Mirco SD card and inserted it into my Xoom.The card shows up under /mnt/external1The albums are there and I can select each song individually and play them using the default "Music" player, RockPlayer, or Winamp.What I can't figure out is how to get any of those Media Players to read from the SD Card automatically?

Last night I bought two CDs on line. i downloaded them to my computer and plugged in my phone to download to the phone. Media link started up and downloaded every CD on the computer before I could stop it. (I had selected only the new CD's in media link) I had to go into my music and delete everything that was duplicated. Then I discovered that my playlists were all empty. I had gone though all of my music and put all songs in playlists. Now I had to do it again!! I thought I was all fixed up and discovered this morning that all 1,290 photos from my computer were loaded onto my phone as well. DO NOT leave media link on your computer. I'm removing it when I get home and I'll start doing the old copy/paste routine. Motorola should send warnings about Media Link to all customers.

I bought the device few days ago and on very same day updated to Android ver. 3.2. I use internet over my home Wifi and have a Netgear - WGR614 router. The browsing speed is very very slow and most sites dont open.The signal strength shown in xoom is - (-105 dBm 3 asu).Is this a issue with Android 3.2 update or my home wifi is weak? Would i be able to reset the tab to the original version?

Has anyone had any success with using Wifi that required user certificates? I'm trying to get my Xoom to connect to the corporate network (EAP-TLS) and followed the instructions for the IPad and imported my certificated into Android correctly. But when I connect, it hangs at the connecting state for minutes, before finally giving up.

Recently I installed ThreadSms app from ovi store and I wanted that the "old" sms editor to disappear, so I uninstalled the sms plugin from applications. I think I made a mistake because now my phone doesn't lighten when I receive a sms Where can I find this plugin? It isn't on ovi store.Also, I have a problem with software update. I don't have a cable, but so far I updated it with SW update and it worked until now.

I was searching through the forum for a solution and I think I tried almost all.The problems is this mensage when I try to connect my BB pearl 9105(vodafone portugal) to app world: "An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Web plugin. Please restart your device and try again. If you have content protection enabled on your device, please disable and try again."I have disable on security option the encryption, the firewall..I replaced the OS 5 again 2 times.I changed my web browser to chrome.I tried to update for OS 6 through the loader(and delete the xml file) doesn´t appear any option for update the OS...I used the factory default option.I saw many solutions but until now none have solved my problem.Does anybody can help to solve my problem?

i have purchased a Blackberry Storm 9530, got my Single id by registering on Blackberry Apps site. The site installed a web plugin, after tht i tried connecting my device, the site shows my pin clicking on which my phone gets connected to the site. Than i click to download the new apps software on the device as suggested by the apps site. The downloading starts, later the device is restarted, but when the device bootsup the apps site gives a error " App World Web Plugin Error" "an error has occurred communicating with the Blackberry App world client."
