Recently I installed ThreadSms app from ovi store and I wanted that the "old" sms editor to disappear, so I uninstalled the sms plugin from applications. I think I made a mistake because now my phone doesn't lighten when I receive a sms Where can I find this plugin? It isn't on ovi store.Also, I have a problem with software update. I don't have a cable, but so far I updated it with SW update and it worked until now.

It would be fabulous, if it would be possible either to set a different "later"-time (propose 10 Minute and give possibility to change to e.g. 2:00 or 24:00) or to give a possibility to EDIT the shown calender item to set a new reminding time or day.

The site installed a web plugin, after tht i tried connecting my device, the site shows my pin clicking on which my phone gets connected to the site. Than i click to download the new apps software on the device as suggested by the apps site. The downloading starts, later the device is restarted, but when the device bootsup the apps site gives a error " App World Web Plugin Error" "an error has occurred communicating with the Blackberry App world client."

I have found out how to uninstall some that I could not shut off or change. Now ... I have one that I do not know if it is supposed run all the time or not. When I do a full reboot or a battery pull the Enhanced Gmail Plugin is NOT running. Once I open it however it will not turn off. It stays running just like BB Msgr or the Msgs program. should it shut down?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my Blackberry Bold 9900 yesturday from a friend that used it like 2 weeks in the UK (he bought it from T-mobile UK) and now is its 2nd day since im using it here in Bulgaria. The calls are working just fine but when I connected it to the PC i got that App World Web Plugin Error. I downloaded and installed the plug in and when I tryed to install WhatsApp and conncted the phone that error showed up. My biggest problem with the handset is that there's no support for the 6350 in Apple's iSync application and there isn't a plugin available from Nokia. When I bought it I had to enter all of my information by hand (since a SIM transfer completely sucks[2]). Now I'm having the handset replaced because the back is falling off and I'm faced with reentering all of that information again.
So, when will there be iSync support for the 6350? And are there any other ways (other than the aforementioned sucky SIM card method) to transfer all of my current data from the old 6350 to the new one when I get it in a couple of days?
[1] Modulo pathetic default ring tones and inadequate bolding of calendar dates which have attached notes.

View 9 Replies View Relatedif the 9810 and OS7 have the Enhanced Gmail Plugin. I've just come back to BB after a couple of years wandering aimlessly in iOS and Android realms. Glad to be back but I'm jumping to 7 from about 4.6 and I've gone Google Apps since I left.
I understand that I'm going to lose some functionality, but can't seem to get anyone at ATT tech support to tell me if the Enhanced Gmail plugin is part of the device's software or not.
I've set up my Google Apps mail account in both the BB mail client and in the downloaded Gmail client. I get more functionality in the Gmail client, with the ability to download labels. But what I am looking for is to find out if the Enhanced Gmail Plugin will allow me to 'move' an inbox message to a label and that it will automatically remove it from the inbox? This is the only way to come home from a 9810-only equipped business trip and not find hundreds of old, already dealt with messages on your gmail account.
I have tried going through the setup wizard and edited my gmail account to syncronize deleted emails over BB and Gmail on PC. And then then to the main menu options, email reconciliation, and then had delete set to handheld and mailbox. Turned it on, gave handheld authority. Next, I have both Messages and the Gmail plug in on the desktop of my Curve 8530, and messages including sms and fb and emails all delete fine in Messages. But once I go to the Gmail plug in, same emails as in Messages but these ones don't delete.

This links to a file Sony_Ericsson_iSync_plugins_(9)_v2.1_fc.dmg which does not contain the plugin required for Vivaz U5i or Vivaz Pro U8i. There is an older version lurking around here (v2.0b) which contains a U5i plugin but no U8i. There are a load of people moaning on the Facebook discussion about this but no solution, and searching here I can find no mention.
The first thing Sony Ericsson need to do to stop off customers is remove the link to the wrong file from the support page. Had I known that Vivaz Pro was not supporting Mac iSync I wouldn't have got it, but I checked first and saw that the iSync plugin was (allegedly) available for download so expected it to work. This is very shoddy business practice by SE who have been my preferred mobile since the Ericsson T10 and R300 over 10 years ago.
Can we please have a working U8i iSync plugin - since you already have a U5i one the changes will be trivial - probably just to the package name and some of the identifying strings in the xml .plist files. It is not rocket science. Has anyone found a way to adapt the U5i one without SE support - at the moment I can't use my new phone as I can't sync contacts and calendar so it'll be going back before the 14 days are up and I'll switch to a different brand for future phones (sadly this will probably mean joining the iPhone herd as at least then I'll be confident it'll work with Mac).

Everything seems to be working fine, except now I'm getting the problem that the enhanced g-mail plugin isn't working correctly. I have it installed, but it doesn't seem to add any options for stars, labels, etc. It's listed in the applications page in the options, so I'm not sure what to do. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it countless times and did a battery pull after each. Does anyone know what may be causing this problem?
