I have accidentally created 2 mailboxes on my nokia n97 mini I was trying to sync my email to the email application but have accidentally created 2 new mailboxes on my messaging application. Both don't work and I just want to delete them both but I do not know how, anyone know?

My phone is obsessed with using a Wifi access point called Spectrum (I once used it to connect at some motorway services).It is the default access point and nothing I do will change it!I have tried reseting the phone, but makes no difference!Any ideas?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have 8 applications on my Nokia N97 Mini that I cannot delete.When I click on them the file just flashes, and when i try to delete them the phone says it cant as they are a "corrupted file".I tried, soft reset, hard reset (factory reset) and it doesn't help, the files are still there!All I can do with them is move them around different folders.Also when using application manager it doesn't find them, so I cant even delete using that!Please can someone help?

SEVEN was not working on my E71 so I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. My gmail account is now working but I have 4 Gmail mailboxes, one that is operational and three duplicates that are empty, inactive and that I can't see how to delete. If I go to SEVEN program menu then I can only see one account. If I go to Messaging there are 4 mailboxes. I have tried Messaging>Settings>Email then highlighting the mailbox but i only get the options Edit,Help or Exit so I can't delete. I have also uninstalled SEVEN and restored factory settings but the mailboxes remain, only now they have question marks next to them rather than the gmail logo. Now when I go to Messaging>Settings>Email they don't show up at all. How on earth am I supposed to remove them?

There is no way of differentiating between mailboxes from the view. They need to color code them or something because I don't know which message is from which account.

A while ago I upgraded the Ovi Maps app on my N97 Mini to the latest version, the one with free navigation and a new menu screen. It worked fine for a few days. Now it refuses to work: When I start the application, no matter what I do or which sub-menu I enter, the application exits/dies in a few seconds and I'm back to the phone's main menu screen.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the app from Ovi Store, but the same nonsense is happening again. The app just does not work for more than 10 seconds. Even if I keep entering data or going from one sub menu to another, within 10 seconds of starting the app, it disappears and I'm back to the main menu. (I've checked to see that the app is not continuing in the background. It's not it truly is gone.
I just bought a N97 Mini because of the free navigation. Using the phone for calls works fine, however I cannot connect it to Ovi Suite. Somehow Ovi Suite keeps on trying to contact my phone, which is connected via the USB cable. I've installed and removed Ovi Suite a couple of times, but it still doesn't work. Even synchronisation of contacts doesn't work.
Software version is 11.0.102. (adapted version 11.0.102.c01.01)
PC is XP and I've downloaded the latest Ovi Suite.
since friday the vibration of my n97 mini stopped working ! its really wierd , not vibrating anymore when i touch the screen and when i receivce calls. sometimes it works for a min but then stops again. i know i shuold take it to a lab but im looking for a way to try and solve this myself. in teh settings everything is fine and in order.

View 19 Replies View Relatedseems like every time i change themes, my mailboxes get duplicated. so, for example, i have 4 mailboxes on my bb, i get a duplicate of each when i change themes, so that, in turn gives me 8. so, i resend my service books to my phone and that gets rid of the problem, but then when i do that, my mailboxes don't show the count of messages i have for each email address. you know when you hover over the mailbox, it should say "(9) yada@gmail.com"? it just says the email address. is there a solution to this at all? a solution to either 1) prevent duplicating my mailboxes or 2) have the message count reappear again?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running iOS4 on a 3GS. I noticed a strange issue after updating to iOS4. I have three mail accounts: gmail, hotmail, and exchange. When I tap the mail icon from the home screen, it takes me straight into my gmail inbox instead of taking me to the mailboxes page (where the unified inboxes are as well as the separate accounts). I have to tap on my gmail address on the top left hand side to get back to the mailboxes page (the one it was supposed to take me to first).

One of which is shared with my department. How do I get these mailboxes to show up on my iPhone and work? I tried to add additional mailbox, but this appears to add a folder not an inbox and it doesn't pull in the messages.

The latest Opera Mini from OVI Store (version 7.0(29980)) is not working on my N8 with Belle anymore.Install is OK but when I start the browser there is a message about font calculation and when it comes to about 82% it always crashes the phone (restart) I then downloaded the sis from the Opera site, installed it and everything works nice again. This is version 7.0(29974)

"Handheld and mailbox, device only" but on the other it doesn't prompt me and it just deletes from the handheld itself. The settings are consistent between the two; both are set to not prompt and delete from the handheld only. But one "rogue mailbox" chooses not to follow this policy and continues to prompt me anyways. Anyone have a solution or a fix?

I have added my personal Yahoo email to it and I now have 2 mail icons - one for Messages and the other for Yahoo.When I get an email on my yahoo email address it also appears in my main messages email box as well. I want to keep the 2 sets of emails separate so that it is 100% clear what is business and what is personal (Yahoo).I know it must be possible to keep them in separate mailboxes but cannot for the life of me work out how.
