I had 2 IMAP mailbox set up on my phone and today after phone back up both are gone. I have been using memory card for storing the messages. I restarted the phone but still I do not see the mailbox. Is there a way to recover the mailbox ? Are they really gone ?
I use the daily calendar page to record vehicle usage. business activities, invoiceable information and a host of other items and have done since I purchased my first Lumia 920 when they first came out in Australia. I invoice on a monthly basis and by necessity at times need to refer back to information sometimes months old. Yesterday I tried to retrieve information from early September and everything prior to the 19th of that month is gone. I am lost without this information. I am not teenage savvy on the idiosyncrasies of smart phones but I would have thought that if the availability of an option to record past events in calendar existed then those entries would have been sacrosanct, subject only to loss with the loss or damage of the handpiece and even then I thought they saved to the cloud. I've searched the forum as best I know how and haven't found an answer to the problem or any indication of how to retrieve the information.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe shortcut notification image at the bottom of the screen for my e71 has disappeared and each time I get a new message it doesn't show up anymore. I have to manually go to the messages at the top of the screen and then go to inbox to see the new message when before I could just click the little shortcut that popped up at the bottom of the home screen which would lead me straight to the new image. I've tried restoring the factory settings on my phone and it didn't set it back to the way it used to be. I'm lost on what to do in order to get it back.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSEVEN was not working on my E71 so I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. My gmail account is now working but I have 4 Gmail mailboxes, one that is operational and three duplicates that are empty, inactive and that I can't see how to delete. If I go to SEVEN program menu then I can only see one account. If I go to Messaging there are 4 mailboxes. I have tried Messaging>Settings>Email then highlighting the mailbox but i only get the options Edit,Help or Exit so I can't delete. I have also uninstalled SEVEN and restored factory settings but the mailboxes remain, only now they have question marks next to them rather than the gmail logo. Now when I go to Messaging>Settings>Email they don't show up at all. How on earth am I supposed to remove them?

I tried to revert the phone to a backup I did but the maps didn't appear. I again updated Ovi, my phone and the map software and tried to download the maps but it didn't work.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have had a lot of issues with the N97 and on the dawn or ordering a replacement, this happened: The phone froze whilst trying to send a message, so I turned it off and back on. The message was still in the Outgoing box and did send after all, however, all messages in the Inbox, the Sent box, personal folders, etc. have all disappeared!
Now, my phone stored a lot of business messages with important information as well as many personal messages with a lot of emotional attachment. No other data disappeared, contacts and calendar entries are all there!
While playing Superbowl the handset started to behave differently. After exiting the game some questions marks (????) appeared on the desktop and instead of icons there were only little titles there. Tried restarting the handset resulted in failure to do so (not booting).

I reset the phone and synced with the Macbook, but no luck. Should I restore or is there a better answer. She is on the iCloud, but the Calendar icon is not on the phone.

I am pretty sure that I used to have "archive" as an option in the menu, and also when I archived on the dektop, the mail would disappear in the gmail mail list, now it does not.I added the mail account through setup following the gmail account option. Before to get it back, i go to email setup and delete it then add it back, then AOL icon returns. View 5 Replies View RelatedI use my Atrix as a mp3 player when at the gym so I don't miss any calls or texts. I was at the gym the other day and my phone reboots on it's own. When it restarts, the stock motorola music player is gone from my phone. I checked the app drawer and under manage applications, it looked like it was deleted. I then reboot my phone 3 times, to no avail. Music player is gone. I am not a huge fan of it because it sometime skips, but it's the only one that give me the ability to skip a song while the phone is locked. A few days pass and it happens again while I am using Winapp, but this time when the phone restarts, the music player is back.

There is no way of differentiating between mailboxes from the view. They need to color code them or something because I don't know which message is from which account.
