Nov 30, 2010I have a blackberry curve 8520, a while back i had app world, did not really use it much til one day my friend told me to download an app, i went to do so and suddenly my app world was gone. i looked all through my blackberry for it, unhide everything just incase i hide it, but nothing! it just mysteriously disappeared! then when i go to redownload it by going to the website on my phone it says the requested page cannot be displayed. then i try downloading it through my pc and it says it cannot connect, but yet it can connect and update through blackberry desktop manager?

Apr 4, 2012Actually, it is my wife's, so I cannot tell you how it might have happened. But, she has no calendar on her iPhone. She has one on her Macbook and one on her iPad. I reset the phone and synced with the Macbook, but no luck. Should I restore or is there a better answer. She is on the iCloud, but the Calendar icon is not on the phone.

Feb 28, 2010The shortcut notification image at the bottom of the screen for my e71 has disappeared and each time I get a new message it doesn't show up anymore. I have to manually go to the messages at the top of the screen and then go to inbox to see the new message when before I could just click the little shortcut that popped up at the bottom of the home screen which would lead me straight to the new image. I've tried restoring the factory settings on my phone and it didn't set it back to the way it used to be. I'm lost on what to do in order to get it back.

Before to get it back, i go to email setup and delete it then add it back, then AOL icon returns. Oct 3, 2015I use the daily calendar page to record vehicle usage. business activities, invoiceable information and a host of other items and have done since I purchased my first Lumia 920 when they first came out in Australia. I invoice on a monthly basis and by necessity at times need to refer back to information sometimes months old. Yesterday I tried to retrieve information from early September and everything prior to the 19th of that month is gone. I am lost without this information. I am not teenage savvy on the idiosyncrasies of smart phones but I would have thought that if the availability of an option to record past events in calendar existed then those entries would have been sacrosanct, subject only to loss with the loss or damage of the handpiece and even then I thought they saved to the cloud. I've searched the forum as best I know how and haven't found an answer to the problem or any indication of how to retrieve the information.

Feb 29, 2012I use my Atrix as a mp3 player when at the gym so I don't miss any calls or texts. I was at the gym the other day and my phone reboots on it's own. When it restarts, the stock motorola music player is gone from my phone. I checked the app drawer and under manage applications, it looked like it was deleted. I then reboot my phone 3 times, to no avail. Music player is gone. I am not a huge fan of it because it sometime skips, but it's the only one that give me the ability to skip a song while the phone is locked. A few days pass and it happens again while I am using Winapp, but this time when the phone restarts, the music player is back.

Nov 11, 2012Tried to search for a text message today and noticed that it cannot be found. Then I had troubles with exiting to messages list from search window which still read "0 messages found". And then when I pressed "B" to look for the oldest message it showed me that the oldest one is a month old. This is absurd, throughout all my previous blackberries I saved and moved all my text messages to a new device, including the present BBB 9900. The option "Keep messages Forever" has been on since the day one on my every device. The memory is 2 GB free on media card and 5Gb free on the device. Never changed a thing in the settings.
