Nokia :: Error Removing Duplicate Mailboxes?

SEVEN was not working on my E71 so I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. My gmail account is now working but I have 4 Gmail mailboxes, one that is operational and three duplicates that are empty, inactive and that I can't see how to delete. If I go to SEVEN program menu then I can only see one account. If I go to Messaging there are 4 mailboxes. I have tried Messaging>Settings>Email then highlighting the mailbox but i only get the options Edit,Help or Exit so I can't delete. I have also uninstalled SEVEN and restored factory settings but the mailboxes remain, only now they have question marks next to them rather than the gmail logo. Now when I go to Messaging>Settings>Email they don't show up at all. How on earth am I supposed to remove them?

seems like every time i change themes, my mailboxes get duplicated. so, for example, i have 4 mailboxes on my bb, i get a duplicate of each when i change themes, so that, in turn gives me 8. so, i resend my service books to my phone and that gets rid of the problem, but then when i do that, my mailboxes don't show the count of messages i have for each email address. you know when you hover over the mailbox, it should say "(9) yada@gmail.com"? it just says the email address. is there a solution to this at all? a solution to either 1) prevent duplicating my mailboxes or 2) have the message count reappear again?

i have purchased a BB Torch 9860 just about 9 days back and it suddenly showed me an error 602 and ever after reset and removing battery, the device continues to show error.

I had 2 IMAP mailbox set up on my phone and today after phone back up both are gone. I have been using memory card for storing the messages. I restarted the phone but still I do not see the mailbox. Is there a way to recover the mailbox ? Are they really gone ?

I have accidentally created 2 mailboxes on my nokia n97 mini I was trying to sync my email to the email application but have accidentally created 2 new mailboxes on my messaging application. Both don't work and I just want to delete them both but I do not know how, anyone know?

I cant seem to remove the AT&T Address Book, and after hrs on the phone with AT&T and RIM seems no one knows how to?! I am pretty proficient with tinkering with Blackberry's but I don't see anywhere in the OS a way to revert the contact list to default and remove the AT&T Address Book completely from the phone. This is really screwing up my back ups and contact list and I would appreciate some input from the true BB knowledge base on the web!

I just got the satio , now i set up a email account but i set the wrong one up.I set my mums one up instead , now on the message page it says new message , inbox , and then the email addy i set up . how do i remove this addy off the phone i have tried everything i have found via Google search but still cant remove it.

i tunes said "cannot identify i phone unplug and plug again. to update.It was then downloading software for 17 minutes..and then froze with a usb arrow itunes logo on the screen.I have tried to restore and am getting "cannot restore unknown error has occurred 21"

There is no way of differentiating between mailboxes from the view. They need to color code them or something because I don't know which message is from which account.

Can't get my mailboxes on iPhone but can on iPad. I have recently set up my e-mail on iPad and iPhone. For some reason I can create mailboxes on my iPad but I can't create any on my iPhone.

I am running iOS4 on a 3GS. I noticed a strange issue after updating to iOS4. I have three mail accounts: gmail, hotmail, and exchange. When I tap the mail icon from the home screen, it takes me straight into my gmail inbox instead of taking me to the mailboxes page (where the unified inboxes are as well as the separate accounts). I have to tap on my gmail address on the top left hand side to get back to the mailboxes page (the one it was supposed to take me to first).

I'm a BB newbie,just moved over from a Palm Treo.the Storm 9550 is for personal use and I'm not on an Exchange server; thus, BIS, I presume.On receipt of emails, I want to save/store/file them.When I select an email, then click Menu, then click FIle, I see, below the instruction, Selecte Folder: a small tree: my email address under which is Inbox under which is Spam.I'd like to create new mailboxes, e.g., Personal, or Miscellaneous, under Inbox. So far, neither the BB's Help nor the User Guide pdf, nor my Community Forums searches have yielded the answer.

I have and iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.1... In my Exchange profile, I have 2 additional mailboxes. One of which is shared with my department. How do I get these mailboxes to show up on my iPhone and work? I tried to add additional mailbox, but this appears to add a folder not an inbox and it doesn't pull in the messages.

I have two mailboxes on my tour and on one of them it prompts me when I delete messages ie. "Handheld and mailbox, device only" but on the other it doesn't prompt me and it just deletes from the handheld itself. The settings are consistent between the two; both are set to not prompt and delete from the handheld only. But one "rogue mailbox" chooses not to follow this policy and continues to prompt me anyways. Anyone have a solution or a fix?

I have got the back off the phone, but I can't find how to get the battery out. I don't want to force anything.Please could someone tell me how to do it. I read another post about the same question, it said there was a space near to where you press the buttons to remove the back, but didn't actually say what to do with the space?

I have a Bold 9000. It's a business handset and we are on a BES. I have added my personal Yahoo email to it and I now have 2 mail icons - one for Messages and the other for Yahoo.When I get an email on my yahoo email address it also appears in my main messages email box as well. I want to keep the 2 sets of emails separate so that it is 100% clear what is business and what is personal (Yahoo).I know it must be possible to keep them in separate mailboxes but cannot for the life of me work out how.

I have an e66 , i recieved an inluded 2gb memorycard with it when i bought it , it was password protected ...but it didn't ask me for the password at all cuz it was saved on the phone i guess...but now , after updating the phone software it did ask me for the password and i don't know wt is it...i can't format it cuz i have ALOT of data and i can't afford to lose it...microSD 2GB , Nokia E66 RM-343 , v4.10

i just downloaded OVI maps and kinda went download happy and downloaded more maps than Ineed.I tried to delete one map, but the OVI Suite only allows me to "delete ALL".When I tried that option, OVI freezes on the preparing screen and then OVI Suite doesn't work anymore.After uninstalling, cclean up, re-booting, and re-installing, OVI Suite works.Is there an easy way to just delete one country's map? Am I able to do it directly from the memory card?

I went on holiday to Germany and downloaded some maps but now I don't need them any more.How do I delete them?It seems the only option on OVI suite (and map loader too) is to remove all the maps that I have installed, and then reload just the ones I want.Is this really the case? Any suggestions?

i bought the nokia e52 seven weeks ago and two days ago it stopped working.In these weeks there were 5 occasions when it either froze or switched off, two of which when i inserted the headset.Each time I removed the battery and switched it on again and it worked. However this time to no avail.Can anyone help me please?

The power button seems to do nothing. When plugged in it will show a white screen with nokia logo and show that the battery is charging but it will still not turn on. Tried removing sim and/or SD card and using a different battery but that didn't work as well.Does anyone else have this problem and do you know how I could fix this?

After downloading the latest firmware for my E71, the Downloads! application included creates a new icon to the OVI store. However, a similar icon already comes with the new firmware, so I have two identical icons for OVI store. I have tried to remove one of the them with no success. Does anybody know a way to remove one icon or avoid this situation?

nokia 5230 removing predictive text from dictionary? everytime i try and enter 'you' I get 'yot' Nokia upport claim no way of removing single words [how stupid is that?] I tried using fe explore says not supported sis files. X plore went on the phone as an app and i found and removed the pred file but it still comes back as 'yot' when i use the predictive text. any suggestions please? Nokia suggested turning off pred text as the solution>> not the ideal option is it!
