There is no way of differentiating between mailboxes from the view. They need to color code them or something because I don't know which message is from which account.

I am running iOS4 on a 3GS. I noticed a strange issue after updating to iOS4. I have three mail accounts: gmail, hotmail, and exchange. When I tap the mail icon from the home screen, it takes me straight into my gmail inbox instead of taking me to the mailboxes page (where the unified inboxes are as well as the separate accounts). I have to tap on my gmail address on the top left hand side to get back to the mailboxes page (the one it was supposed to take me to first).

One of which is shared with my department. How do I get these mailboxes to show up on my iPhone and work? I tried to add additional mailbox, but this appears to add a folder not an inbox and it doesn't pull in the messages.

seems like every time i change themes, my mailboxes get duplicated. so, for example, i have 4 mailboxes on my bb, i get a duplicate of each when i change themes, so that, in turn gives me 8. so, i resend my service books to my phone and that gets rid of the problem, but then when i do that, my mailboxes don't show the count of messages i have for each email address. you know when you hover over the mailbox, it should say "(9) yada@gmail.com"? it just says the email address. is there a solution to this at all? a solution to either 1) prevent duplicating my mailboxes or 2) have the message count reappear again?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI had 2 IMAP mailbox set up on my phone and today after phone back up both are gone. I have been using memory card for storing the messages. I restarted the phone but still I do not see the mailbox. Is there a way to recover the mailbox ? Are they really gone ?
SEVEN was not working on my E71 so I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. My gmail account is now working but I have 4 Gmail mailboxes, one that is operational and three duplicates that are empty, inactive and that I can't see how to delete. If I go to SEVEN program menu then I can only see one account. If I go to Messaging there are 4 mailboxes. I have tried Messaging>Settings>Email then highlighting the mailbox but i only get the options Edit,Help or Exit so I can't delete. I have also uninstalled SEVEN and restored factory settings but the mailboxes remain, only now they have question marks next to them rather than the gmail logo. Now when I go to Messaging>Settings>Email they don't show up at all. How on earth am I supposed to remove them?

So far, neither the BB's Help nor the User Guide pdf, nor my Community Forums searches have yielded the answer.

"Handheld and mailbox, device only" but on the other it doesn't prompt me and it just deletes from the handheld itself. The settings are consistent between the two; both are set to not prompt and delete from the handheld only. But one "rogue mailbox" chooses not to follow this policy and continues to prompt me anyways. Anyone have a solution or a fix?

I have added my personal Yahoo email to it and I now have 2 mail icons - one for Messages and the other for Yahoo.When I get an email on my yahoo email address it also appears in my main messages email box as well. I want to keep the 2 sets of emails separate so that it is 100% clear what is business and what is personal (Yahoo).I know it must be possible to keep them in separate mailboxes but cannot for the life of me work out how.

Now this is speaking from a DEVELOPER point of view. Would you like to see iPhone exclusivity stop? To me, yes, obviously, because this means the App Store can be in more hands, and my apps can have a MUCH larger audience. Yes I know there is a lot of market share already, but look at VZW, T-Mob etc and if we got their eyes on our apps. you should be able to fill in the rest. What do you think from a developer point of view?

I have Windows 7 installed and have seriously tried everything to fix this, deleting old back ups, cheacking my firewall, unintalling and reinstalling itunes, deleting pictures that may be corrupt. We have purchased SSL Certificates from verisign to do 802.1x authentication. However when attempting to connect I still receive the "Not Trusted" Certificate message. In testing I have e-mailed all of the seperate certs to myself to see for sure which one in the chain is not trusted. I find that the Root Certificate "Verisign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5" dated 11/7/2006 to 7/16/2036 is the one that mis matches the one in on my phone. I read that the key for the cert http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5012 doesnt match the one directly from Verisign therefore verisign cert isnt trusted.

I have bought loads of music off itunes before and loaded to my iphone. I recently bought an album that for love nor money will not load to my iphone although is clearly visible in my itunes account. I have tried removing it and resyncing it, reloading it, syncing and then reloading the whole phone but still to no avail. Any ideas what I might be missing!?
