IPhone :: Japanese IPhone Sync With Old American IPhone
Jul 4, 2012
I bought a new iPhone in Okinawa and tried to register it on the Apple website, but it will not let me input a Japanese phone number. Should I use my old American phone number to sync my phone and keep all my previous iPhone information?
I'm due a new phone and want an iphone but in 15months or so I will be going to USA for one year as past of my degree and was wondeing if i bought a uk iphone off the apple website will i be able to put an american sim into it.
im am currently living in australia an have purchased an iphone 4s of gum tree and not realising it is locked by an American network called verizion, how can i unlock the iphone so i can use it here in Australia
If you go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendar > Default Calendar > you're supposed to see: Calendar and Birthdays, right? But in my phone, it has Calendar with a blue dot, a Japanese text which I think also means Calendar because it also has a blue dot, another Japanese text with a green dot (I don't know what it means), and then Birthdays with a red dot. Same goes with my Notes. If I go to Notes and tap on Accounts, I'd see From my Mac, iCloud and another one with a Japanese text. How do I disable the Japanese words?
I got two my mail address that outlook mail and gamil in my iphone. The problem is missing test after viewing about 5 minutes. I suprised that only outlook mail, gmail is still maintained
Each time I try and sync my iPhone it gives me an error message that says "iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone because the iPhone disconnected" What is going on here? Backed up phone restored software, etc. Nothing is fixing the issue.
I use a Mac laptop at home (older one with Tiger OS) , and PC at work. I do not want to share home info with the work PC but would like to be able to sync my work outlook calendar to my iphone 6.I also do not want my work email on my iphone. Of course the IT guys at work don't like Macs and say this can't be done.Â
Is it possible to have Birthdays entered into iOS contacts (which do show up in the iOS calendar) sync to Exchange/Outlook 2010 via activesync? (not using iTunes)
I wanted to update my software to the latest version so before i did that i made sure i synced/backed up my phone. Then i restored my phone from back up only to find that my contacts have all dissapeared. Why?
All my apps, calender, notes, photos etc have appeared except for my contacts.
Software version 031.023 Language set 41.01 Code 0586213
As a frequent traveller to Japan, I would like the ability to view Japanese characters/fonts when browsing online. Or when reading emails written in Japanese. I have downloaded successfully the Japanese translator for the Dictionary. Which displays Japanses characters with no problem. But when I browse online the Japanese characters are unreadable.
I have tried changing the Default encoding setting: Options/Settings/Page/Default encoding. Then reloading the web pages. But same result. I don't necessarily need the ability to write in Japanese. Though it would be nice. But I would like the ability to view Japanese websites, and email's in their correct front. Are there language packs available for download? Or should I be directing my enquiry to my local Nokia Care agent?
I managed, finally, to get some input support for Chinese, and font support for Chinese & Japanese, however I would still need support for Japanese input.
I started to text earlier and I noticed my keyboard had changed and now its the Japanese one. Ive gone into setting and keyboard but I cant seem to change it back to standard.
I can't change my Xperia X8 phone language to Japanese. I`ve try, to go to SETTING --> LANGUAGE & KEYBOARD --> SELECT LOCALE but i can't find option for Japanese,
I've searched all over but haven't seen anyone having this issue. I hooked my Atrix 4G up to a Windows XP machine today and instead of the old "Motorola Media Link" I'm familiar with it installed MotoCast USB (which I'm assuming is new). The problem is, that when MotoCast USB runs it is in Japanese. I uninstalled the software and then went to www.mymotocast.com and downloaded a the software thinking some wires got crossed on the first install, but the issue is still the same. I don't see anywhere that I can change the localization to English. Has anyone seen this or know how I can get the software to switch to English? I did notice that under the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMotorolaMotorola Media LinkShared it shows a FamilyLanguage of JPN and a LanguageCode of 0x00000411 (1041).
I can't seem to get App Sync 3.1 to sync the apps I've gotten from Cydia. I've tried reinstalling it, deleting it and then downloading a fresh copy of it, but no luck either way. And yes, I DID restart after both scenarios. I'm running 3.13 on a 3GS.
recently I received a Nokia 500 for my business trip to Japan next week. However, the internal dictionary can translate English or German to Japanese, but it doesn't show any characters besides boxes. Deletion and re-installation of Japanese language did not solve.Currently I installed the cure-all YBrowser, and now I can see the Z:esourceFonts folder with its content. Now, which font is needed to get Japanese text display, and where can I get it?
How to Write and read japanese on 9800 Torch. no one should say to download east asian language pack.It doesn't work !There is multilanguage application on my phone but it does not load any other language.I can't delete the downloaded languagaes or any of the loaded application. How can I delete everything on my 9800 and re load. I did wipe out everything put still not all the applications.
I have been trying to work this out all morning but I cannot work out how to turn on Japanese Keyboard.the is language and keyboards in setting but this does not turn on the keyboard input when you are typing.
I have a Xperia pro (MK16a) So when you're entering text, if you hold down on the screen, you have the option to choose Japanese input and Chinese input. And when you choose Japanese input, you can also open up the setting menu, and inside the menu there are options for physical keyboard, and vitural keyboard. Although Chinese input does not have those settings, but surprisingly I CAN use Chinese input with my physical slide out keybaord. BUT, it is NOT the case with Japanese input. Please give me some guidence on how this works, is it a BUG or something? Because clearly it SUPPOSE to have the option to use my slideout keyboard for Japanese input.
I noticed today that notifications for incoming whatsapp messages in a whatsapp-group with emojis in its groupname (heart-emoji) show some japanese symbols instead of the heart.
