I can't seem to get App Sync 3.1 to sync the apps I've gotten from Cydia. I've tried reinstalling it, deleting it and then downloading a fresh copy of it, but no luck either way. And yes, I DID restart after both scenarios. I'm running 3.13 on a 3GS.

I just got a replacement iphone and restored it from a backup, however, upon trying to sync it again, the 'sync apps' checkbox is not checked. I can see my apps that are greyed out but as soon as I check the box to sync the apps, they all disappear! I haven't synced it since for fear of having to start over every time.

I would like to have all of my phone apps in one place (home computer), When I switched from laptop to desktop the phone apps in itunes didn't migrate to the new computer. I try to sync the phone to the desktop all of the old apps that are on the laptop are deleted and vice versa.

View 5 Replies View Relatedi updated my factory unlocked iphone 3G to 4.0 and activated it through itunes. I then jailbroke it with redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-3, but since then i've been having problems. I installed cycorder and mxtube via cydia, but when i open these apps, phone shows a black window and then goes back to the homescreen....can anyone help me out?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI had trouble with my email app on my iPhone 4 after installing a Cydia app. Trouble is I don't know which one. I uninstalled all the Cydia apps that were removable and the problem was still there (Email app would close immediately when tapping the Reply arrow) I restored and re-jailbroke, losing the nice App Store copy of MiTube that I had, but which didn''t get synced to my computer for some reason. Now MiTube is no longer on the App store..and I have yet to hear any explanation. Anyway, after the restore I installed my Cydia apps again, and after one of these installs..Cyntact, Backgrounder, Infinidock, Infinifolders, 3G Unrestrictor..The email malfunction came back. Again I removed all the apps I had installed since the email stopped working properly and the problem did not go away. This time, in addition to email crashing on reply, I could no longer connect to the App Store (I verified that it was the software on my iPhone 4 by accessing the Appstore from my older iPhone, which still worked). I also tried restting my network settings. That didn't help a bit. So once again I restored my phone and rejailbroke and put everything back except the 5 apps mentioned and all is fine. I'd love to know which of them is causing the problem, but I don't want to attempt installing any of them since it could again result in my having to go through the many hours of restoring, and resyncing all my apps and music and reorganizing the icons into folders, etc. Has anyone else encountered any problems after installing any Cydia apps which would not go away even after the offending app(s) were removed?
View 5 Replies View RelatedOk what I almost did was restore my iPhone but then relized it would go to 3.1.3 so I stopped.I want to start my jailbreak over. I have downloaded so much apps and supporting apps that I don't want on here. Alot of the support apps though I have no clue what they are for.
If I manually delete all apps through cydia or rock and then go back and install the ones I want to keep, this will be safe and effective way off ridding all jailbreak info from my phone and starting fresh, correct?
So I had my iphone jailbroken, but then like many people I had to do the dreaded 3.1.3 restore because blackrain gave up on me.So I have now jailbroken with spirit, and wondering if there is anyway of downloading my paid Cydia apps such as Anyring again without paying a second time? I didnt back up with Aptbackup or anything when I was jailbroken on 3.1.2.

When it tried to sync the apps, it said some apps could not be transferred because I was not authorized to play them. So I went back and authorized my computer to my account. Now the apps are not on the phone or ANYWHERE on my computer. Do I need to buy them again?

I just reinstalled Lion and forgot to backup my iTunes library. Now I want to sync my iPhone 4S apps with my Mac, but since I don't want to lose them all, I want to "Transfer Purchases" from the phone to the computer.When I open iTunes and do that, iTunes just crashes. I performed a 'sync' today on my pc (win7). When it finished I realised that several of my app's have been removed (from both iTunes & phone).My concern is that both App's are 'diary' type apps and as such have 2 months worth of daily transactions put into them - so I do not want to just download the app again from the App store, as the data which i have already put in them is the true value. Please can you offer any advice on what I can do to either:-
a) get my iphone to roll back to this morning (before I sync'd - also I havent done another sync for two weeks so reverting to the last sync will also not help)
b) if there is a way of getting this to kick into gear and add the app's back without losing the data that existed on the iphone (app) before I sync'd it today.

Basically, when syncing iTunes tells me that 23+ apps cannot not be synced because I have not authorized my computer. I have authorized, deauthorized, and reauthorized multiple times. Nothing. I keep running into a super, super frustrating issue that I can't seem to figure out a fix or workaround for - basically iTunes keeps trying to sync ALL of the apps in my library no matter if I've removed it from the phone or unchecked it from within iTunes. When I start a sync, unchecked apps mysteriously become checked and iTunes then tries to copy everything over again.
I currently have around 600 apps in iTunes but only have around 200 on the phone itself, and manually deleting 400 apps every time iTunes freaks out like this is driving me crazy.
I currently back up the phone to iCloud but some times sync to iTunes to backup locally as well, but I'm assuming this isn't the expected behaviour.
How do I sync apps back to my iphone from my computer? I can see them in itunes but can not put them back on iphone
