I have a Nokia N97 Mini, and recently i'hv been facing this annoying problem. The keys 'Z' , 'X', 'C' and 'N' are not working on my QWERTY keyboard!This started 3 days back, but somehow, the keys began to work again after a few hours. But then it happened again yesterday, and now, they are not working, even after a hard reset!

View 19 Replies View RelatedThe latest Opera Mini from OVI Store (version 7.0(29980)) is not working on my N8 with Belle anymore.Install is OK but when I start the browser there is a message about font calculation and when it comes to about 82% it always crashes the phone (restart) I then downloaded the sis from the Opera site, installed it and everything works nice again. This is version 7.0(29974)

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 4 volume keys and silent/ringer keys are not working and it doesn't ring and vibrate when i get a call or text and neither the sound working when i use any app like games etc. but when i go to settings and change the ringtone then its ringing and the sound is working when i play music but there is a problem as well the headphone dock is not working.

When I put the provided headphones into the phone it played the music really well through them but when I tried to use the buttons on the headphones like skip, play/pause and volume none of them worked. Help Much appreciated.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy nokia 5130 xpressmusic increase(+) volume key is not working when the music player is active but when i go to my home screen where my wallpaper, clock, etc is placed and then when i use the up/increase volume key it works fine there. The volume does not increase in my music player. Pls help me as i am worried because my 5130 is brand new and i bought it 1 week back.

Is there any fix? I have both a e71 and a e72 (the e71 LCD screen stopped working, I ordered a LCD replacement and am yet to try it out). Is there anyway I can take the e72's innards and put it in the exterior of the e71?
Why does this happen? My firmware is updated (Ovi Suite says mine is the latest), I have tried soft rebooting, hard rebooting, factory reset, hard reset, whatever possible "standard" solutions. Is there any real solution at all? It's kind of annoying especially for fast typers!
I have Nokia 6303 Classic and it was working fine but suddenly today phone is behaving weird, now when i press 1 the phone types it 12,when i press call attend button phone opens the camera.When i press option key phone opens new sms window, and almost all the keypad keys are behaving the same odd way.So I can't do anything on my phone,I have already reset phone to factory setting and also updated to latest software version but problem is still there.

View 3 Replies View Relatedwhile updating the software through nokia suite it suddenly said that it had lost connection to the phone, and then went to the home page of the suite. This left my phone with a white screen and it wouldnt respond to anything. I tried re installing the software and such, but still white screen. FInally I took the battery out, and now it wont turn on! I push the power button and it vibrates, then nothing. This tells me that its not dead, and when i connect it to the computer it disconnects right away. I tried removing the battery for a few minutes and taking out the various cards, but nothing.

But after connecting i was unable to access any sites as it gave error: invalid server name. Ive tried at Mumbai Airport as well, but still the same error. I tried many different site but still the same error. Also sometime when i try some sites after connecting to WLAN, it prompts to connect via GPRS which should not be the case I believe. Both GPRS and WLAN are different. How do I access Internet via W-fi and not with the GPRS.

I have had my N97 Mini for nearly two years. In that time, it has been a fairly trouble-free device. A few times it has seized, had some issues, and about 18 months ago the touch screen stopped working -- but it was repaired, and I have had no issues since. Until now.
About a week ago, my phone's screen started behaving oddly. I can't really describe it -- the display would overwhelm with static, it would distort irregularly. to describe the visuals, it looked a lot like interference. Flashes of green, things like that. I could, at times, see my homescreen background. But it would disappear as quickly as it came.Even now, it is still responsive; the phone charges, responds to USB connection, and when I swipe the screen I can feel the vibrations of my homescreen content. When I flip it out, the keys still light up. Everything works fine.
I have not dropped my phone.About a week or so prior to these complications, it was raining; a couple of droplets go on the screen but I cleaned them away. As far as I know, the phone was relatively dry; though if it was water damage, would it have responded sooner than a week after the phone was touched by water?I honestly don't know what its problem is, how to fix it, what to do.
The screen of my N97 mini turns black and freezes after answering any call and I must slide it to let the screen work again or wait about 7 seconds and I can't end the call by the red button. this problem happens also on alarming but not freezing; It turns black then work then black then work ..etc, so i have to be focus till it appear to stop the alarm or snooze it .

Till yesterday it was functioning OK but today after full recharge it battery got drained in 5 hours without any usage !! I noticed the phone is getting too hot without any usage. I recharged it againg and same thing happened again. I tried to switch if off for few hours and took out the battery from phone but it didn't help. I am using latest firmware.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to charge it using my PC's USB port, the PC will try and identify it as a flash drive, but it will then bomb out - this is an endless cycle (the sound Windows makes when adding USB Flash drive and then removing it). Using different USB ports has the same result. I am not sure whether charging occurs, but after 10min or so I am still unable to switch the phone on.So I went to the device manager and I can see it reloading each time the N97 tries to register as a USB device. Then I went and looked at which port the N97 is connected to (open each USB root hub and look at the Power tab - ie refresh each time the new device found sound is played from Windows - the USB hub that will be connected to the phone will be indicated by "nokia usb flashing parent"). By disabling the applicable hub, the phone actually showed the Nokia logo on a white screen with the battery life indicator (non charging)when I then re-enabled the USB Root Hub, the display remained on the phone and it started charging.Without disabling the hub the phone would just continue to endlessly find and then discard the "flash drive".I was using Windows XP SP3.Nokia OVIsuite 2.2.0.241 I did manually terminate any Nokia processes prior to disabling the USB Root Hub (not sure how many tried to rerun again)finally it is charging again. Wasn't too keen on what happened, because I don't carry the charger with me when traveling abroad.

So what happened was that I updated my software on my nokia n97 min to 30.0.004. After the update , when I went to write a message , most of the letters are mixed up - if I press A it's Q and so on..It's really difficult using my phone since all it's messed up, and even worst- if I go on the web browser they are even more messed up then when I am writing a message. I really have no idea what to do. I already reinstalled the software at least 10 times but the same problem is coming over and over again. I don't understand why, when I did it trough Ovi suite, so it is supposed to be the right software. Is there any another place where I can download the software manually and install it manually?

I want to disable it because I often use apps, and accidentally touch these keys, it's becoming really annoying. This is true especially when I'm using the camcorder app, and my right hand touches one of the keys and it exits. Or is there another camera/camcorder app that disables the keys?
