I'm finding my new N97 pretty good so far, apart from the FM radio. It seems it can only be tuned in two ways - whole band scan or station-by-station scan - neither good where the reception is poor.Is there a way to tune manually (either in 100kHz steps or by entering a frequency)?
Is it possible to manually change the call duration to what I want it to be set as.I used my dada phone while he was away and holiday, and just found out that he wrote down the total call duration before he went away. I have been using his phone and found the paper he wrote it on.
I recently update E7 from Anna to Belle. I want to update map data manually, downloading with Nokia Suite takes too long, so can you provide me direct link of map data version 0.245.110 my map version is v3.0.8 11wk47b04.
It would take three weeks to fix some sensor in my phone that turns the display automatically when you turn the phone. Anyway this automatic turning is sometimes too eager to turn the display so I would like to turn it manually. I cannot find any feature which supports this. Only with photos there is such feature but not with sms, web surfing etc.
When I select the ovi music store in the music folder of my phone(Model Nokia X6-00,16GB), it will redirect to the homepage of the music and when i select the genre and telugu songs, I get some peculiar message like :"Please wait while you are signed in" And it takes me to nowhere. And I get a message as "You couldn't be signed in automatically. Please sign in manually." I want to ask, how can I sign in manually in the nokia ovi store. I don't get the download button to download the songs.
I have an iPhone 4 that I want to plug into my car so I can listen to my favorite online radio station. How do I do this? And is all I need is an A/C adapter? Please list all possibilitys.
I've done a search and read some previous posts, and cannot work out why my N900 is randomly rebooting.I have manually restarted my phone and checked the boot count is reset to 0
I have attempted doing a nokia software updater firmware update and it confirms i'm on the latest firmware (10.2010.19.1) and i've used the app updater and updated all apps. It has happened before i enabled the extras-devel repository, so I doubt the fault lies there.
Since i restarted the device prior to running "cat /proc/bootreason" i can't find out the reason why it rebooted, but i will update this post as soon as it does it again.
I recieved this phone from Optus Australia, and is running a number of apps from both the ovi store and the app manager. The only apps i have installed from the extras-devel repository are unrar and unzip apps, although i did note that it updated a few other apps at the same time, like flashlight.
Checked the forum and did not find any on this post! Ran my battery down to 4% and radio did not turn off. Has Rim done away with this feature? Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?
I have the bb curve 8330 and was trying to find out if I can play my iHeart radio over my car radio. The thing is I am unsure what device to use or how to go about it.
My Ovi Music software started three days ago telling me an error message, when trying to start the program "automatic login failed, please try again manually" and it keeps on doing this for hours. I am not able to stop this process and so it is not possible to try that manual login! Now I am not able to download any music with my OVI Music Unlimited account.
I changed my n86 due to problems it has been givin me to the x6. great phone but the internet radio is missing. any chance of it appearing in the next software update?? i think this wll complete the fone as a music phone.

Living in Belgium, not so far from the Netherlands where I work quite often, I decided to buy a Nokia Lumia 800 since it wasn't available yet in Belgium. Big mistake as I soon found out that I couldn't update my phone (unless I created a completely new Netherlands based Zune account), but still don't have Mix Radio (don't know what it prevents now).In a global world it is ridiculous that Microsoft still feels it should introduce terrestrial borderlines and even limit access to phone updates and functionality (they even don't allow me to spend money in the Markteplace).
Great job here by Nokia on this update.Until now I detected one possible bug. When we opens the radio, on the others firmware, when RDS was available the name of the station appears automatically, now it doesn't appear.
I am trying to get FM radio on my phone but only showing rds AF i have put in some frequency's that i know but when i search i get nothing do i need some software i have spoken to the tec's but no joy.
I bought a Nokia C5 three weeks ago. The FM Radio function worked well untill yesterday. Today while I was trying to open the FM Radio the phone got freezed. Now I can't listening FM Radio even if I restared the phone and plugged the earpiece again. Whenever I tried to open FM radio it got freezed. What can I do?
Since updating to Belle, I am no longer able to use the dab radio app, which renders my £40 headset obsolete. Hopefully this app will be available again soon??
Radio of my Nokia 5800 xp is not working at all. When I go to Radio -> Options and select any of the option e.g. "Stations", "Tune Stations" or "Alternate frequency" menu is closed without doing anything or asking for further option. I have tried factory reset, but no luck.
I recently bought a nokia c2 -01, FM radio worked fine till yesterday. I'm trying to listen to radio , I get a message stating it's off.Head set seems to be working fine.
Seems unbelievable that the phones are not going to have this feature. And yet after searching the web I see more posts stating that they won't. Is it true?
When I go to listen to the radio on my phone..It says..''connect wired headset'' Wire functions as antenna'.iv got my head set connected and I can call and speak to people through my head set... But I can't listen to the radio.
