Is it possible to manually change the call duration to what I want it to be set as.I used my dada phone while he was away and holiday, and just found out that he wrote down the total call duration before he went away. I have been using his phone and found the paper he wrote it on.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently installed Tank's Act 2 .497 Hybrid (which is awesome) on my 9550. Previously, I had only been running the stock OS 5.0.0.320 on my device. I actually searched quite a bit, but found no problems that were quite the same as what I'm experiencing. I had posted this same issue on page 17 of Tank's thread, but decided to start a new thread just to be able to reach more of the masses, as I'm not sure if this issue is specific to Tank's hybrid or not.
Everything works great, with one lone exception--I have my default browser set to "hotspot" as I always have, and previously (using .320) if I was in an area with no WIFI signal, the browser would just automatically switch over to the Internet browser and load my pages just fine. Now, however, if I have no WIFI signal, I get a "This is a WIFI service. Please ensure your device has an active WIFI connection and try again." message, forcing me to go into the browser settings and manually change the browser from "hotspot" to "Internet".Is this normal (for any OS version)? Is there some setting somewhere I'm missing? Seems to be a bit of a pain, just to take advantage of WIFI, to have to set this manually all the time.
*Also, as much as I appreciate the help, I'm not looking for "Use Opera Mini! It PWNS the BB Browser!!!1!". Yeah, I know there are other browsers out there, some with great features (and speeds), but I'm just trying to figure out this issue with the BB Browser.
Just a few hours ago I picked up my phone and realized the time was behind by 21 minutes..I have been trying to go in and manually change the time but I guess you aren't allowed. I tried changing time zones and going back, rebooting and searching can't seem to find a solution. When I go into options, date/time..under device time the time is wrong but the actual network time displays as the right time.

I've checked the forum, found out some ideas, and tried them today.Then: GPS off, Internet connexion off, Bluetooth off. I am planning to purchase a Nokia 6700 slide for my mother, however, the seller has stated that it takes a long time to start up, anything between 5 minutes to an hour; and often varies. I am wondering what is casuing the problem with the device before purchasing, other than the start-up time, everything on the handset works perfectly fine (according to the seller).
Would reinstalling the operating system be of any solution? From what I know, there are no other faults for the device, and the boot up error occured totally randomly. This boot- up time is the only fault on the phone; and could be a problem, as my mother may be unable to charge the device at various points, where the phone would turn off due to low battery.
Or are there any other steps which I could take to ensure that this problem doesn't occur? Also, this is an old phone, therefore it is out of warranty.

I have attempted doing a nokia software updater firmware update and it confirms i'm on the latest firmware (10.2010.19.1) and i've used the app updater and updated all apps. It has happened before i enabled the extras-devel repository, so I doubt the fault lies there.
Since i restarted the device prior to running "cat /proc/bootreason" i can't find out the reason why it rebooted, but i will update this post as soon as it does it again.
I recieved this phone from Optus Australia, and is running a number of apps from both the ovi store and the app manager. The only apps i have installed from the extras-devel repository are unrar and unzip apps, although i did note that it updated a few other apps at the same time, like flashlight.
Why iPhone can't check calling duration?
