May 7, 2010I just got my E52. The phone restarts very often, and especially when using the radio.I upgraded the firmware, but it didn't help.

Nokia :: E52 Radio - Low Sound And Phone Restarts
Jun 28, 2010i have a Nokia E52 RM-469 SV:034.001, i have a realy strange problem with the Radio
- when i plug the headphone and i start the radio the sound is low in the headphones, (the volume is at max)
- i have to unplug the headphone and plug it again to make the sound at normal,
- after a while the phone restarts , this happens form 5 -20 minutes again and again

Jan 26, 2010I got my Nokia e72 in Israel, from local cellular company called Cellcom (Cellcom Israel Ltd).I bought the phone about a week ago and almost instantly it started to make a problems (restarts).I got back to Cellcom store and asked to fix or replace phone or it's software. The answer that I got from Cellcom representatives was funny: Nokia e72 has to null himself from time to time, and it's known issue (so they say that it's normal), and it's all what they can do.The bottom line, they said that restarts and closing applications it is the way that e72 should work
After long conversation they agree to check it in their service labs.. Today I got it back, they told that the phone was reset to default settings and it works now as it have to work (on their opinion).All problems persist, phone may close one of the applications unexpectedly or simple restarts and closing all open applications.

May 2, 2010I have bougth 3 Nokia E63 from Newegg.com.I have opened one, tried it, and sudenly it restarts alone (nokia logo, and again on home menu)I was on web. Then I tried to write a message, and again the same....
I connected to computer via usb and it restarts every 2 minutes.I have opened the others and is happening the same.The FW version is 200.21.012.What can I do? I need them asap.

I was thinking maybe because I was using slideshow as my wallpaper or because it had too many songs and pictures. Is it because of those? Is it normal? Nokia :: E52 / Restarts On Video Playback
Jun 26, 2010I have recorded few videos with the phone (at high quality), all OK. But in the gallery the playback of these videos sometimes lags (video stops, audio continues or stops too) and sometimes this ends with a restart of the whole phone (display backlight shuts off, screen freezes, then NOKIA shows up and the phone starts again, without asking for PIN, resulting in the standby screen). Usually if I play the same video again, it does not lag. The video is stored on an SDHC 4GB card, class C4. I have installed the latest firmware.Any suggestions?

Jul 29, 2010Is there anything to do but return this brick to the store? My new N900 will reset/restart about every 20 seconds, no matter what I do. I've tried with SIM, without SIM, with and without memory card, on and off charger... Invariably it will reboot within the minute. One time it even said "Device Malfunction. Device shutdown in 10 secs" on the white NOKIA screen. The FW version is 2.2009.51-1, but I can't upgrade to the newest version to see if that solves the problem. When I tried, I only got about half way through the download before the device rebooted again.

Jul 26, 2010I didn't find a topic to help but basically my problem isthat using the ovi map application causes a restrart on my phone.The application loads but a minute through it causes the phone to restars or to even turn off.Nokia supports sent me an Email with instruction to install the ovi map on the phone.The problem still persists like before.I have no data plan and I used the internet to load the map. I apprciate any help you can offer.

Jan 31, 2010I can only confirm that i see most of the already posted issues with the 40.0.005 FW. Most seriously is controlled the phone restart. Mine does it 2-3 time pr day. The phone is totally unusable now. I have been forced to take an old HTC windoes mobile in to action again.Will probably go for an Android now. @Nokia: Not a good action to move all 2G development to India!

Mar 10, 2010So ive had my Nokia for a few months now, no problems all going fine. Untill recently I tried to uninstall Fring from my phone and it didnt work. So i connected it via usb and then deleted it via my PC. Then a system error message started coming up and I ignored it at first. However my friends were saying they were not recieving some of my calls and texts. So i looked at other forum posts and people reccomened to update the firmware so i did that and now my phone is in major problems. It keeps saying memory full and when i try to access the memory part to clear some stuff it just restarts. sometimes it says vcommand something and restarts but usually it just says memory full and restarts. Its really bugging me and Im considering selling it and buying a Blackberry becaue it is really anoying. Is there anything i can do to solve this or am i screwed?

Sep 16, 2011Updated my Nokia N8 with anna 3 days ago. Just this morning after a 5 minute phone call, my phone freezes. I turn it off and wait 2 minutes and turn it back on. Since then my phone keeps restarting twice every minute. It loads to the home screen after i key in my security code and then restarts. I turned it off for 5hrs and just switched it back on. Now my phones language has changed from English to French and still keeps restarting

Jun 16, 2010I've E72 for few weeks. In general,I'm satisfied with what I get. A major exception is a strange resets I've almost allways during browsing over WiFi. Browser isn't an issue,it happens with both Nokia browser and Opera. It doesn't happen when I connect with mobile provider GSM. When I run email client over WiFi it works perfectly,well except it restarted once or twice when tried to handle large html messages with big attachments.
Phone OS / firmware is a last version.

Feb 17, 2010I've been using 5530 for last 2 weeks and every time im deleting mssgs whether one by one or sometimes by marking few and then deleting them, the phone will restart itself showing black n red lines first, after that, nokia screen would show up and then the home screen would appear?

It turns off and back on, I didn't loose any files, but the sim card is blocked and people can't call me then. I have the newest software, use the original charger, battery etc. Phone turns off without any massage, vibration or else, when it turns on I get the default starting screen and the phone asks me for pin and works normally afterwards.

Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?
