Are you all facing the problem of N8 rebooting at least once every day and many a times twice a day.
Its sheer frustration when you are talking to someone and your phone reboots in between.
After installing a new theme from the Ovi store, my phone started to restart non sttop. It shows the Nokia logo, then the wallpaper for 3 seconds and then restarts again and again.
View 4 Replies View RelatedUpdated my Nokia N8 with anna 3 days ago. Just this morning after a 5 minute phone call, my phone freezes. I turn it off and wait 2 minutes and turn it back on. Since then my phone keeps restarting twice every minute. It loads to the home screen after i key in my security code and then restarts. I turned it off for 5hrs and just switched it back on. Now my phones language has changed from English to French and still keeps restarting

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter 10 day's with a Nokia E52 i have been experiencing the following problems. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
1 - I need to reboot phone once a day for various Freeze-up's.
2 - My incoming SMS messages seem to get parked until i reboot the phone, then they come flooding into phone one after the other. Some people fail to receive messages sent by me also.
3 - System memory full appears on screen occasionally and to remedy this, well you guessed reboot the phone.
4 - On a call person on other end cannot hear me speak.
Is it worth my while returning phone for repair or would i be better off waiting for new firmware update?
2 weeks ago my iphone 4 started acting funny. Everyday for whatever reason i would lose service and then it would say "connect to itunes " and I would have to restore the phone to its original factory settings. this went on for 3 days until finally it refused to be restored through itunes, and it was now not reading my sim card. so i went and got a new sim card at ATT , didn't solve the problem. So I took it to the apple store, they determined that it couldn't be restored and they gave me a replacment unit. well a few days later , the same thing has been happening . This is a completely different phone , and every 24 hours it needs to be restored.

It dies and goes to recovery mode every single day. When i wake up i check my phone for any messges then open facebook app on my iphone 4s with iOS 5.1.1.As soon as FB starts to load, it dies and goes to recovery mod (just a black screen).I have to connect it to itunes on my notebook to restore it using home button and sleep button for ten seconds and then just the sleep button for ten seconds more.

I have a iphone 4s. Everyday same time 7am, my iphone gets warm in mh handbag. And I have not used it, would an app be causing it or the fact tgat I have it in my bag. Have not notice any battery drain when this happens

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have things on my calendar and in my reminded thatI want to be repeated only 3 days of the week but the only option to put so it will repeat is everyday. For example: I have events that only occur on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday but the only option I have to have to choose from to have the phone remind me or show it on my calendar as time not available is Daily, then it goes to monthly, etc. So when I set up a reminder or put something I want to show on my calendar I have to choose Daily so now it shows on everyday that my time is occupied for that event and it reminds me to which drives me crazy. You literally have to go to each day it's not suppose to be on and delete it in both the reminder and calendar.phone show that I am busy when I am not or it pops and makes a sound up when I am in the middle of things that are really not going on at those times of day and there are so many that I can not sit on my phone take it off the days I don't need it because that could be a year or more I would have to go thru to change. Is there an upgrade coming out for that soon to have it give us that option ro choose what says we want?

I bought a Bold 9700 in Aug 2010, it has been working fine until 3 weeks back. It hangs / freezes unexpectedly, and although the 3G reception shows that it is full bar, I can't make/receive mobile calls and SMSes. Hence, when someone tries to call me, they can't get through and they can't SMS me to tell me they can't get through to me becos the SMS is not coming through as well!On top of this, I won't know that my phone is hanging until I try to make a call out and discover that my attempt has failed.So basically, I find myself making calls to my wife every hour just to see if my phone is in 'hang' mode And if the call attempt fails, then I'll know to reboot it. However, sometimes it takes a number of reboots (both hard and soft) before it's back up and working. This is a daily occurence happening 2-3 times a day.
*** Strange thing is that during 'hang' mode, although I can't make/receive mobile calls and SMSes, I can still send/receive Emails, BB Messenger and WhatsApp.Now I went to the Blackberry Service Centre and they gave me a one-to-one exchange But the next day after I brought my 'new' Blackberry home.. it hung again!!At this point, I thought that maybe it could be the SIM card causing the problem, so I went to my carrier and got a new SIM card.. just a few hours after... IT HUNG AGAIN! am now holding a 'new' Blackberry Bold 9700 and a new SM card but the same problem persists.
I just bought a new Atrix 2 and it is doing the exact same thing at or around 4 a.m. every morning. Was this issue ever resolved.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the last 2 weeks, I've been receiving a call from a "private number." The calls come at either 10 or 11 AM and also at 2 or 3 PM like its happening on the hour. They are disconnected from the other end after 3 seconds...there is no one on the line, nothing computerized, no static, nothing. Anyone else having these issues? I have the latest VZW software fwiw.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI got my Nokia e72 in Israel, from local cellular company called Cellcom (Cellcom Israel Ltd).I bought the phone about a week ago and almost instantly it started to make a problems (restarts).I got back to Cellcom store and asked to fix or replace phone or it's software. The answer that I got from Cellcom representatives was funny: Nokia e72 has to null himself from time to time, and it's known issue (so they say that it's normal), and it's all what they can do.The bottom line, they said that restarts and closing applications it is the way that e72 should work
After long conversation they agree to check it in their service labs.. Today I got it back, they told that the phone was reset to default settings and it works now as it have to work (on their opinion).All problems persist, phone may close one of the applications unexpectedly or simple restarts and closing all open applications.

I have bougth 3 Nokia E63 from Newegg.com.I have opened one, tried it, and sudenly it restarts alone (nokia logo, and again on home menu)I was on web. Then I tried to write a message, and again the same....

I was thinking maybe because I was using slideshow as my wallpaper or because it had too many songs and pictures. Is it because of those? Is it normal? But in the gallery the playback of these videos sometimes lags (video stops, audio continues or stops too) and sometimes this ends with a restart of the whole phone (display backlight shuts off, screen freezes, then NOKIA shows up and the phone starts again, without asking for PIN, resulting in the standby screen). Usually if I play the same video again, it does not lag. The video is stored on an SDHC 4GB card, class C4. I have installed the latest firmware.Any suggestions?
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy e72 constantly restarts by itself - I cannot find reason why it happens - sometimes phone restarts when i type sms, sometimes when I unlock phone and so one, fw = 022.007, twice I made hard reset (restored backup notices, calendar, contacts) but this did not help what can I try else?
Is there anything to do but return this brick to the store? My new N900 will reset/restart about every 20 seconds, no matter what I do. I've tried with SIM, without SIM, with and without memory card, on and off charger... Invariably it will reboot within the minute. One time it even said "Device Malfunction. Device shutdown in 10 secs" on the white NOKIA screen. The FW version is 2.2009.51-1, but I can't upgrade to the newest version to see if that solves the problem. When I tried, I only got about half way through the download before the device rebooted again.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI didn't find a topic to help but basically my problem isthat using the ovi map application causes a restrart on my phone.The application loads but a minute through it causes the phone to restars or to even turn off.Nokia supports sent me an Email with instruction to install the ovi map on the phone.The problem still persists like before.I have no data plan and I used the internet to load the map. I apprciate any help you can offer.

The phone is totally unusable now. I have been forced to take an old HTC windoes mobile in to action again.Will probably go for an Android now. @Nokia: Not a good action to move all 2G development to India!
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo ive had my Nokia for a few months now, no problems all going fine. Untill recently I tried to uninstall Fring from my phone and it didnt work. So i connected it via usb and then deleted it via my PC. Then a system error message started coming up and I ignored it at first. However my friends were saying they were not recieving some of my calls and texts. So i looked at other forum posts and people reccomened to update the firmware so i did that and now my phone is in major problems. It keeps saying memory full and when i try to access the memory part to clear some stuff it just restarts. sometimes it says vcommand something and restarts but usually it just says memory full and restarts. Its really bugging me and Im considering selling it and buying a Blackberry becaue it is really anoying. Is there anything i can do to solve this or am i screwed?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've E72 for few weeks. In general,I'm satisfied with what I get. A major exception is a strange resets I've almost allways during browsing over WiFi. Browser isn't an issue,it happens with both Nokia browser and Opera. It doesn't happen when I connect with mobile provider GSM. When I run email client over WiFi it works perfectly,well except it restarted once or twice when tried to handle large html messages with big attachments.

i have a Nokia E52 RM-469 SV:034.001, i have a realy strange problem with the Radio
- when i plug the headphone and i start the radio the sound is low in the headphones, (the volume is at max)
- i have to unplug the headphone and plug it again to make the sound at normal,
- after a while the phone restarts , this happens form 5 -20 minutes again and again
