Before the occurance, my phone kept on reseting itself. It kept on turning on and off and now it won't recognise my password which I had set for it, It continously says "Code error".

I am able to transfer media files (mp3) to the phone with my Ubuntu 12.04 with no problem at all. However, the phone does not recognize files when I go to Nokia Music application. Software says that all the Music "folders" (Albums, Genres etc.) are empty. I have tried putting the mp3 files in all possible folders ( music, documents etc) on phone, but no luck. I have also tried several different mp3 files.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've just installed Nokia Ovi Suite, and to say i'm a little disappointed is an understatement, the program slows my whole computer down. I have a 5800 Xpressmusic FW31.0.10. I've been trying to copy music from my PC to my 5800, and yesterday when I launched Ovi Music Player, it didn't recognise the phone as being connected. It also started popping up with "Found New Hardware - MTP Device" EVERY 5 SECONDS!
I installed Ovi Suite and that just slowed my whole machine down. After waiting all morning for Ovi Suite to speed up a bit i've tried syncing my music, but it returns Operation Failed, Unable to copy the tracks. Attempting to copy them from my PC to my phone returns the same error. I also have a video decoder displaying in my sys tray, not just 1 icon, 22 of the same icon displaying in my sys tray. I've attached a screenshot to show what i mean.
I tried to send music to my blackberry 8520 by bluetooth through my IMac desktop but every time they ask me for a passcode. Where do I get this from.
View 1 Replies View RelatedChanged my passcode lock from letters back to numbers. I know what numbers i picked for the lock but the phone won't let me in! Tried a number of combinations but none worked! Has it ever happened that an iPhone won't let you in with the correct passcode? Does it usually malfunction when you switch back to numbers? And most importantly - is the only solutioin to reset the phone???

I'm having trouble getting my Z6c to recognize music on my SD card. I synced from Windows Media Player to the card, but when I put the card in the phone, it can't find the songs. I had this same problem on another Moto phone. (I know the card is properly formatted, because it recognizes the photos I put in the My_Pix folder.)
I notice when I sync to the SD card, a Music folder appears. I move the album to the My_Music folder before putting the card in the phone, but no success. This is my own music I've ripped from CD.
Do I need to do this via a USB cable instead? I tried getting help from Verizon, but the CSR just kept telling me to use VCast. I don't see why this wouldn't work with Windows Media. Things were so much easier on my BlackBerry, but I really want to like this phone.
I'm trying to move my music files from my laptop to my phone. No Problem. I can find the files but the standard music player does not support WMA. More importantly how can I fix it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've got the Photon after having an Atrix for about 6 months i think this phone is great but I'm having an issue with the Media Link and Itunes, I can sync my playlists and actually see the songs with the music player but any song I try to play it says it can't read the format. I took a look at files info and they are in m4a format, isn't media link supposed to convert them?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just finally switched from an iPhone to the new Samsung Galaxy s5, so excuse me if this is a redundant question. I have searched everywhere for an answer and can't find one.
I used "DoubleTwist" to transfer all my songs from iTunes to the s5. When I open the "music" app (which I'm assuming is a samsung app as it came pre installed on my device) all my playlists/artists/songs are there perfectly. I moved all of the songs to the micro sd so that I can have more storage space on the device itself. Now, when I open the same music app it is empty. I can play the songs only if I go to "my files" ---> "sd card" --> "music". They is extremely annoying because that option only has all my thousands of songs in one giant list, no playlists/albums/artists, etc.
I am trying to download a music album but donīt recognize my credit card. I have been always using the same credit card.

I just bought W205, couse my good old W880i died on me. In start there were some broblems, because it didnīt recognise any of music files from my 2G memory card. Well i run software update, even it was up to date and hey, it allmost worked. Now the music player regognises mp3 files just fine, but files that are in m4a format, (that i got most of my music) is not regognised. It cant handle them in proper way. It shows songs names, but dont put them in proper albumwiew, and wont play them at all. Thatīs very weird, because i had no broblem with them on my old W880i. If i go to filehandling and browse memorycards files from there, they works just fine, but that is not actually musicplayer, isnīt it! So. How can i play my music files in this MUSIC-phone i just bought?

Iv bluetoothed photos from my old phone (at&t windows phone) and transfered some over from my windows labtop. Everything as far as i knew transfered over no problem. All there. When i opened gallery . all there. *** well as when i opened music. All my usic was displayed. then one day went to open up my music player and it showed no music. Went to gallery to find noting. So i then went to filemanager. it said 0 music and 0 images but all my documents were still there. then via filemanger>all files>internalstorage>pictures they were there but all displayed as stock mountain pic till i clicked on them individualy.

It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.

I have reinstalled all the software from the Nokia site, reset the phone (soft and hard) and it still doesn't work. I have been reading a lot of comments and it seems that if you have this handset with O2, then neither of these applications will work. O2 say that the handset is fine and it is an issue with Nokia. Nokia have told me to do all the things as above. At a bit of a loss now! Have 3 days in which to reject phone.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have recently installed ovi suite. My computer keeps asking me to install the driver for the "bluetooth peripheral" device (and it can't find the program to install). But that is not the real problem. problem is when i connect my phone to the pc it doesn't recognize it, i've gone through all the help files and done everything, checked the connection was right, disconnected, rebooted both devices and reconnected, and made sure it was on use as Ovi Suite when the option comes in the beginning.Furthermore, although my computer sees the phone as a Bluetooth device and i can browse and copy files to and fro the phone, the pc suite doesn't recognize the phone via the bluetooth route either.again, i've gone through all the help suggestions.

Now when I connect it to my computer it will charge, but it won't sync and it doesn't show up in device manager. I connected it to another computer and everything worked fine, it started to install the drivers etc... but I need to get it working on this computer. I've restarted the computer and the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled zune, ran various windows fix it things, installed updates for the computer... nothing!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI know this has been posted like a hundred times or more and I've followed all the threads around this but if anyone has a new suggestion that would be REALLY apreciated .Have a C-5 with latest firmware. Has around 365 songs in it now but when i add new ones it doesn't see them.Have tried refresh, trashed the databases etc. Reformated the card and loaded them back bit by bit and that worked and then added 9 new ones - that worked. Played it this morning for a few hours and tried to ad some more. Doesn't see them in the refresh. Card is a Sandisk 4gb - should be good - no bad sectors etc
