Nokia :: How To Reflash - Set - N97 Mini
Mar 14, 2010I bought an unlocked n97 mini but stupid me bought it from optus as telstra was sold out. So i can make calls etc just fine but I can't seem to use the internet/maps etc as it's trying to go through Optus Zoo. How do i reflash/set the phone so it'll use the correct internet network?

May 29, 2010I needed a new phone after my nokia 6233 was acting up after over 3 years faithful service and bought the beautiful nokia c5 from hongkong, unlocked.As I am in UK and am on an O2 sim they don't have settings for c5 yet. Feb 20, 2012I am using PC-Suite (7.1.62.1) with a USB cable to my Nokia 6233. Right from day one I have been unable to sync or download my contacts from the phone. The phone reports the error as "data transfer not possible" and pc-suite reports "refreshing of contacts failed". I really only need to download the contacts so I have a safe copy.

Apr 23, 2010I've messed up my n900. I installed OpenJazz from extras-devel (stupidly ignoring warnings about using extras-devel as a noob) and it appears to have killed the phone.
Now all my desktop widgets have vanished (when I add one, it disappears from the list of available widgets, but isn't visible on the screen), and I can't run any applications (apart from built in things like Calendar and Settings).
I guess I've messed up a system file somewhere and I need to reflash the device, but before I do that I wanted to see if anyone's had this before, and if it's solvable without reflashing? It'd also be interesting to know if anyone can identify exactly what the problem is...

1) When I change the wall paper picture, the phone restart
2) When I open the browser & goto a page, as soon as the page loaded the phone restart.
3) When I try to login to facebook, the phone says "Unable to complete the operation" after few minutes I entered the username & Password.
4) Push email it always says "try again later. The connection to the service unexpectedly failed. Please try again later"
I can manually receive emails without problem.I thought of reflashing the phone to see the problem will get solved. But how can I reflash this phone?

Jun 27, 2012I had to erase everything from my C6-01 because of some issues I had. The problem now is that my old applications that came from Nokia package disappeared (such as Nokia Store). About Nokia Store, I have tried various ways to reinstall it, guided by the pieces of advices I had found on this site, yet nothing works for me. Plus, I cannot seem to resize my pictures when I set them as wallpapers. Everything went haywire. How I can restore my applications?

Dec 13, 2015my Nexus 5 has recently run into a problem where it suddenly decided to get stuck in a bootloop. I figured I could just reflash the stock rom via the boot loader with the wugfresh root toolkit but that unfortunately didn't work. But by doing this I noticed that my bootloader was not staying unlocked when I try to unlock it. Every time I unlock the boot loader and it restarts the bootloader automatically re-locks. I then proceeded to try and manually flashing the stock rom files individually and unlocking the bootloader each time I flash a file which was really annoying. It still hasn't worked and I'm starting to get worried because I've also started to notice my recovery can't really factory reset or wipe the cache. Instead I get this message at the bottom of the screen:

E:Can't mount /ache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /ache/recovery/log
E:failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E:Can't mount /ache/recovery/last_log

So now I'm completely stumped, could this be the end of my Nexus 5?

I can access the maps, I get the correct position but the problem occurs when I try to navigate to any address.
