I am needing 3g coverage, music player (with adequate memory) software that interfaces with Lotus Notes, and maps/navigation.
Since then I've had some problems with the messaging. Every time I go claim the warranty, however, the error disappears
This is what happens.I'm messaging on my mobile and sending and receiving messages normally.I open a message and go to reply.While in the editor, a message is received.I finish off my reply and send it.When I return to my inbox, however to check the new message, it's not there and the icon for message is adamant.Moreover, there is some old message at the start of the inbox (as 1st message) which is some deleted message of a long time ago. (This message is constant. It's some kind of a picture message I received from a friend and it was of a format my mobile did not recognise, so I deleted it. I can't understand how it keeps coming back. There are two such messages.)I turn off the power and turn it back on in a few seconds.I go back to inbox and there is the new message.This has been going on for a long time and now even the warranty is at an end.
Any time I try to go online on my Nokia 2730 this is the error I get, I have got 2 lots of settings from my operator Orange and activated them, One for MMS and the other for GPRS and I have an unlimited data plan?

The symbol of moving envelope just came up in the upper part of display and it didn't disappeared since. From that moment I cant send any SMS or MMS, I can receive them but not send. I tried to reset phone, change my sim but the problem is still the same - I cant send sms or mms and the symbol of envelope is still there. My memory isn't full and everything seems to be fine.

I've found that the battery on it is absolutely horrible, and needing to recharge it after 3 days, ten texts and an hour of talk time. This is in an area with a full-bar 3G signal, and the phone set to UMTS-only instead of dual-mode. Even my four-year-old LG can handle that and not need a recharge.Anyways, the internet seems to be abuzz with talk of a firmware update that addressed performance issues with the phone, It appears that my software (version 4.35) is the latest software out there (and that is what the'update sw' feature of my phone tells me), but I've also heard that there is a firmware 9.73 that came out on February 8, 2011.Does my phone need a firmware update? I like the phone, but I will be returning it in a few days if this battery issue cannot be addressed.

I tried a couple of times by using the Ovi PC Suite, but it resulted each time in error 12014 (backup of phone succeeded, but update not). Then I switched to Nokia Software Updater (also on PC) which seemed to work great. However, now the media key is not working anymore.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a nokia 5130-c2 xm for about a year and a half but i only used it for about 11 months but the other months it went for repairs 3 times. 1st time it displayed a massage "contact service"(needed a firmware upgrade from version 6.6). 2nd & 3rd time it never wanted to boot like when windows on your pc never loaded. Now the 4th time is near, not even a month has passed since i went to collect my repaired phone. Would you say the device its self is faulty or just the firmware. View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.

I have the 7.1.2 ipsw file from when i first updated to iOS 7.1.2, could I be able to downgrade with this? Is this firmware still "signed" ? Just to be clear, it was downloaded in August, before the public release of 8.0.

2) Application handcent not able to display contact pictures where are syn from facebook
3) VERY LAG
4) lock screen will strangely change by itself. I had set it as clock, but always sometimes show weather instead...
5) Smaller notification icons
I am sure this list can go on and on, but how to downgrade the firmware back to the previous one. It was gingerbread right? I have to be very honest, I know nothing about rooting, and my HTC Sensation has always been on stock OS only.
