View 1 RepliesI updated 3 weeks ago my E72's firmware, after i done this my phone became a "little" slow.
If I use my video camera the image gets to be stuck every 5 seconds, when I watch the video on my pc or even on the E72, the sound is good but the images are most of the time mixed up or stuck...
also: when i put up a connection like making a call or browsing on the internet, the time it takes to connect to the server is ALOT longer...the camera and the connection worked a bit better before the firmware update...(BTW this is my first bad xp with Nokia, normally a business phone is close to bug free. This is close to no-wurth-selling...)
I hate the new software upgrade of nokia belle fp2 for 700. The fone is now slower compared to the last software version. Is there a way to downgrade it to the last software I had?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI own an iPhone 5s running iOS 8.1 and am very unhappy with the new firmware, mainly because I've been experiencing battery drain. I have the 7.1.2 ipsw file from when i first updated to iOS 7.1.2, could I be able to downgrade with this? Is this firmware still "signed" ? Just to be clear, it was downloaded in August, before the public release of 8.0.

1) Can't detect picture and audio files occasionally
2) Application handcent not able to display contact pictures where are syn from facebook
3) VERY LAG
4) lock screen will strangely change by itself. I had set it as clock, but always sometimes show weather instead...
5) Smaller notification icons
I am sure this list can go on and on, but how to downgrade the firmware back to the previous one. It was gingerbread right? I have to be very honest, I know nothing about rooting, and my HTC Sensation has always been on stock OS only.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my phone on a contract with Tesco Mobile, and as expected it came pre-installed with their operator junk and wouldn't let me update to the latest version.
So I used a 3rd party software to install the generic PR 1.2 firmware (latest version), and it's working great, very happy .
Now I'm left wondering... How do I restore the operator firmware incase anything goes wrong with the phone? (and no, i didn't make a back-up). If I restore the phone to factory defaults, will this restore the operator firmware?
When next firmware update will be made available for N97?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. I downloaded Nokia Suite 3.7.22 and I am trying to upgrade to latest firmware version. The website says it should be v.60.0.003 - [URL]. When I run Software Updates in Nokia Suite I get message saying "No updates available" - Your phone has the software version V 52.0.101 installed. I then ran Fiddler and I found out that a request to the following URL is being made and it is not successful: [URL]

I am running Win7 x64 SP1.
After I updated my 5230 firmware to V 51.0.002, all my music album art is jagged / too sharp / resized incorrectly. Is there a way to fix this? Or should I just downgrade the firmware back to the previous version? If so, how do I downgrade?

Is there a manual way to reset the phone to factory setting?
View 4 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I was rejoicing when I found out Nokia outed the N97's latest firmware. Among the enhancements was "improved music player." The moment I got home from work, I set out to update my N97 to 21.0.045.
To my disappointment, I don't see what was improved from 20.x.x version. And to make things even more disappointing, gapless playback is still not a function I can turn on.SERIOUSLY!It is 2010. Can we get gapless music playback functionality in the music player? Or is live music something Finnish people don't listen to? I cannot imagine that I'm the only person in the world who thinks this is an important function in a music player. Am I?!?
The N91 didn't have it. Fine. It was the first major multimedia phone from Nokia.
The N95 didn't have it. What? Okay, maybe they're still working on it.
The 5800 XpressMusic didn't have it. Wait. A marketed music phone doesn't have this basic feature which exists on pretty much decade old **bleep** mp3 players?
The N97 still doesn't have it. Seriosly. Somebody? Do Nokia engineers not listen to music at all? Nobody at Espoo listens to live music?
I've read that there is a firmware upgrade that would allow me to use the new Ovi maps with free driving directions and various other nice tweaks and so on to make the phone much more reliable. I'm locked in to 3 at the moment - and I could unlock from them for a £15 fee - but I don't know whether this will then allow me to upgrade the firmware to the latest verision?
