I have this realy nice phone since it comes out (so something about 4 yrs?) and it stop turning to stand by mode or screen saver. I have this options enabled and I tried to disable, restart, enable but nothing happend.

Less than a minute after putting my phone in the Dock, the screen saver comes on making it very difficult to see the digital clock at night, even with the screen brightness set to max. This makes the Dock applications almost useless.
View 7 Replies View RelatedRecently purchsed my Nokia E72 about 1 month ago. Having purchased and installed Garmin XT for my mobile. The software works well but logs out after 10mins due to the Power Saver kicking in. Does anyone know how I can completely remove the Power Saver? the max time I can set it is only 90 seconds. This is driving me nuts as I really want my GPS to work as it should after 10mins. I have tried to put to backlight on when navigation but makes no difference because the Power Saver would just over ride it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a N97 mini and it seems that when it is in power saver mode, the battery went from 4 bars to 0? I was shocked that I couldn't even turn it on in the morning. It's a real bummer when I have to leave the house and I realise my phone died overnight. Is this normal? Is there any way to save energy when I leave the phone in that mode at night? I'm very sure I have turned off all Wifi and Wlan and Bluetooth settings. Also, I believe my wall charger is faulty. There is no white light when plugged in. (Another bummer, when I returned home and realise my phone has not been charging the whole time I was out.) However, when I use the usb on my computer it works just fine.
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust updated two days ago and my Airplane Mode icon will take me to the settings screen where I have to tap on Airplane Mode again which turns it into a two step process and makes the icon pointless. The other thing is that the screen is not dimming like it did in Power Saver mode. I keep my screen about 1/3 because indoors it's all I need and it would drop it about 10% before I updated to 4.3. Now it keeps it at the 1/3 default no matter what. I can't really say whether it's having a dramatic effect on battery life, but it would be nice to get that extra 5% in times of need.

I have had my S5 for about a month or two now and have been having a problem with the screen waking in my pocket. I'm guessing the home or power button is being pressed which is fine but I need the screen to turn back off in a reasonable amount of time. There is a setting called "Screen timeout" but no "Lock screen timeout" like I used to have on my S3. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems like both the screen timeout and the lock screen timeout are both controlled by this one setting. Just about every 20 minutes I feel my pocket getting hot and sure enough, the screen has been on for who knows how long.

Menu -> Settings -> Themes -> Power saver -> Date. but it doesn't work as expected.
After about fifteen (15) seconds of not touching the phone, date and time are displayed. Fine. After another fifty (50) seconds the blue and white floating things appear. What is the right setting to get rid of any animations?

I had a lot of Nokia and on each one, you had the possibility to put the date and hour as a screen saver. But with my Nokia 6700 Slide, I just don't find the way to configure it. On the stand-by mode the screen is just black when the keypad is locked.
I went back to the shop where i bought it, the guy tried to configure it and he couldn't so he decided to change the mobile phone by a new one because he said all the nokia mobile phones do it so it's a bug. But with the new one, it's the same problem, the seller configured the 6700 slide with the "date" screen saver and nothing except black screen. I went back home and install 2 another free screen saver : cClcok and Largetime and it is the same ! black screen !
So I called nokia hot line and they could'nt help me because this phone is too recent, they hadn't one at this moment to try...
What's the difference and if I have both on does it cancel out the other? I had both on before and my phone never turned off the data connection.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have had Denim on my 1520 for a while now. (UK CV). Yesterday, I had extensive usage of the phone and it slipped into battery saver mode at 20% - an abnormal occurrence for me.
Anyway, when Battery Saver enabled, the backlight behind the Back-Start-Search keys went out. And I was using the phone in the dark, walking home.
Upon regaining power, the lights came back again.
I tweeted Lumia on the mysterious occurrence which definitely did not happen in Cyan. Their response today seemed to indicate a fixable software thing - soft reset, see what happens. I have yet to try that.
An easy way to see: Enable "Now until next charge" in Battery Saver. Doing this on mine immediately extinguishes the backlight on the capacitive keys.
On firmware v22.014. The Keyboard light doesn't work on power saver mode (or low brightness settings). I tried to use 'Brightness Control' app.. It doesn't work to my satisfaction. But its better than nothing.
