I have 1 and half year old nokia 1200 phone. But now the standby time of the phone is about 1 day. Without call/sms. Nokia care person said that the problem related to its firmware version. And need change to v 6.00. Do you think that the problem related to software?

1. taken out the battery and
2. reset the phone.
What gives? My usage is showing 30 hours as well as my stand by time, theyre exactly the same.I restarted the phone and now while they are different , they are still proportional with each other. After one minute of usage, both the usage and standby time increase.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 4S and I charged my phone last night and unplugged it once it got to 100% then left it overnight for standby, it was around 98% and when I woke up, it dropped 20% down to 78%. when i checked my usage, my usage and standby times were exactly the same at 7 hours and 23 minutes. I powered off my phone and turned it back on, and it resumed as normally with the standby time usually being higher than usage.

I have problems with my iphone 3gs running on ios5.0.1, the battery usage and standby time are always equal. And it drains my battery way too fast, I disabled all the settings on my device, I also removed tweaks from cydia that for me causes the problem. The tweaks I have left are: SBrotator 5, zyphere, killbackground, nowplaying, activator, gravi board. But all of the tweaks that I mentioned are all disabled!
View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently got a S6 and copied my S5 onto it. I haven't switched yet as I enjoy my S5 because of the screen, replaceable battery and SD slot. So I'm only playing around with the S6 at home.
I didn't use it for a day after charging it full and was very surprised when it started beeping about the battery after only 33 hours.
I have a iPhone 6 that I use only at home for different things I need iOS for and I get at least 72 hours out of that one.
Does it sound like normal battery use? No SIM only WiFi.
In Settings/Usage the battery usage for Useage and standby are the same. This means the phone never goes into standby mode and reduces the battery time. I tried a resore in iTunes.

My camera cannot be open. I am always getting a message saying that the camera is being used by another application,but there seems no other applications running. The firmware version was 2.1 -update1 at first and after updating it with the same version, the problem still exists with very short standby time.

I am using Motorola xoom with Android 3.1. I am facing a problem with gtalk and that is:
The gtalk remains online while i am using xoom but then after standby time my status goes to idle for the friends in my contact list and if they send me any message in this state I cant receive them and if they try to call me then the caller party hears the bell that as if it should be while someone calls on gtalk but i cant get the notification of call or any ring. Why Gtalk cant get calls on my xoom although it seems online to others in standby mode......is it some bug in android?
When I look at the battery usage the one thing that stands out is that the highest percentage of battery usage is "CELL STANDBY". This just should not be!The top of the list should be "Phone Idle" if the phone is not in use. I basicly left the phone unused today. Pulled it off the charger at 9am. Phone network set to CDMA only. WiFi off, GPS off, Bluetooth off. By 10pm my battery was down to 30% with 60% used by Cell Standby. In reading other forums, this seems to be the norm for this phone. But that doesnt make it acceptable. I have run the *228 option 2 from Verizon to update cell tower info. And my service is very good. Pretty much always 4 bars and never a dropped call.

Start camera up and it displays Camera in Standby Mode. There is a Continue option available however when selected the standby mode message reappears. I have also noticed that the Image Sequence setting is ON and Im unable to change this setting.Have tried hard reset and have upgraded to latest 10.5 software. Have also spoken to Nokia support with no luck.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI just bought Nokia e72 after researching online alot and was convinced that this is a great phone. I've been using it for couple of day now and overall I love it, but I do have one major issue. Every once in awhile it reboots itself, for no reason, then comes back to the standby screen. It does not seem to turn all the way off, but the screen goes black and I do see the word NOKIA on the background. This is very annoying. I have not noticed any patttern or certain thing I'm doing at the moment, just seems to be random. Does anyone have any idea what's causing it? Thanks in advance for any help / ideas.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a Nokia 5130 from a TMobile store, and since I have started using it, I noticed that whenever I activate keyguard and wait for a little bit, the phone screen turns blank and would not show anything at all (I am used to S40 and S60 phones showing a bar with the time and date, the number of unread messages and missed calls showing everytime they are on standby). However, I also noticed that whenever I unlock the keypad and the backlight shows back up, the bar is actually there before it fades away and returns back to the home screen. Could it be that the screen is actually turning itself off whenever it's on keyguard standby?

I could then select from the list using the D-pad and make a call, send a message, etc.That function seems to have stopped working, and I can't tell the reason why. Unless I didn't notice the elimination of the feature months ago when I installed the latest firmware (don't think that's the case here), this doesn't appear to be the result of a firmware update, new software install, etc.Any suggestions out there, shy of the royal pain of doing a reset and having to reinstall software and reconfigure/recustomize my phone? They are new.Both of them have the same strange problem. They work correctly, but when you leave the phone in a standby mode (so as it can be in your pocket during the day) the display became completely white (after a little bit of time). And it remain white till you push a button.You can imagine that this is a problem for the battery, because when the screen is white the phone sucks a lot of charge.The strange thing is that both of them had the same problem.Is there anyone that has the same problem?Is there anyone that is able to solve this problem?
