Motorola :: T-Mo Startup Animation And Sound Needed
Feb 14, 2010
I modded my RAZR V3t last year with a custom startup animation and sound. I lost the backup of the originals and I need them back to Re-T-Mo it to give the phone to someone else.Anyone have the "Stick Together" animation (RAZR-sized) and the newer version of the Moto Startup sound?
I love my Droid M so far, but I really don't like the startup animation. How can I at least disable the sound, and ideally, disable both the animation and the sound?
I'm seen posts that refer to renaming files under "System/Media", but I don't see that path on my phone.
I upgraded a few days ago to the Razr from the X2. I noticed that the boot animation sound volume is so low I can barely hear it. Is this normal? Is there any way to increase the volume of the boot animation sound?
Most of the time when I startup my Xoom it will not play any sound that I can hear. If I hold the volume up button and the power button to reboot then the sound is fine. Has anyone else heard of this problem and is there a fix or just to continue what i have been doing.
I have a G920F and the boot animation is not working as it should. I'm on 6.0 Beta and don't think the problem is coming from the beta because if I remember correctly, the first time I booted the beta everything went smoothly. I am not rooted and the phone is completely clean.
The problem isn't a big one, but it isn't working normally. When I boot my S6, the 'Galaxy S6' screen comes, then no boot animation is shown, a black screen is shown instead, then after the small vibration, the boot animation is then shown without the sound. (an the phone is not in silent/vibrate mode)
My guess is flashing a new stock ROM fixes the problem, but I don't have enough time to sort the settings and stuff out after flashing.
Is there a way to do this? I've searched the settings and didn't find anything. I also tried Silent Boot from the Play Store and that didn't work either. What am I missing?
I have flashed my Cingular 3125 extensively but it is getting too old and back won't stay on. I have modified all I can on Blackjack II (sgh-i617) w/o flash. It's on Win Mob 6.1, I want to change the start-up pic and sound, I know this is a bit of an older issue but can anyone gimme a link or advice on how to progress? Everythings unlocked Subsidy,CID, etc, experienced and have many tools, just have not been in the loop for awhile.
I am looking for a way to disable the startup sound when launching the camera using the dedicated camera button. I have checked the settings and have only found an option to disable the shutter sound while taking a picture but not the startup sound.
I've purchased a iPhone 4S off ebay with the aim of fixing it. It is in great condition inside and out, however won't turn on or boot and there is no display. When plugged into the wall socket it just makes the charging chirp sound over and over again, but that is all. When plugged into a computer it does nothing, no show in iTunes. All the seller was able to say was that he tried to fix the screen and it worked before that, but couldn't get it to work properly after that. Any ideas what could be wrong, what needs to be replaced? If it was just a faulty screen shouldn't the phone still charge and why is it making the constant sound?
This is a formal request for Motorola to add the CRT screen off animation into the gingerbread build for the Atrix 4g. Im not sure if this is a google flagship fucntion, but I think if we got that with the next a future update, it could even boost future sales of the device. There are hundreds, if not thousands of people out there that want this feature. However, many have never have even seen it in person. Let us be the ones to show it off to our friends, so they in turn can envy us. That would create desires in new potential customers that only spending money could fill .
I have been researching SD Cards at Amazon. Getting prepared for the eventual software update from Motorola. I have seen a Sandisk 32 GB Micro SDHC listed at Amazon. Is this a good card for the XOOM. I am VERY happy with my Xoom so far.
I have a VU204 stuck in boot loop that I would like to recover by flashing with RSD lite like I have done, with the help of forums like these, with various older Motorola devices (V3c V3m K1m etc) using Humpa's website for the firmware but I can not find 'VRZ VU204 01.12.00R PRIqq67337 MONSTER 02.pcf' or variation of it there or online. I have the 'VRZMOL_VU204_01.18.00R_PRIrr95016_CUSTOMER_UPGRAD E_01.shx' but of course that does me no good in my current situation. Would anyone happen to have the file or be able to point me in the right direction?
Using my work laptop (Lenove T400) to connect to my phone via Motorola Media Link. But everytime I start my laptop, the motohelperagent.exe takes up 50% of my available CPU and keeps taking it unless I kill it via the task manager.
I have an XPRT that I obtained from Sprint 30 days ago. Like phone but having issues with screen freezing up when phone turned on. I travel and must turn off phone when getting on plane. Once I get off, I turn on XPRT and it appears to boot up but then freezes or the screen goes blank. I pull the battery, re-insert battery, and power on. Same thing will happen again so I pull battery and go through same cycle. Usually after two cycles, the phone is fine but it can take 4 or more. I took the phone back to the Sprint store where it was purchase and it happened to the tech while he was trouble-shooting this problem. He did not have an answer and he looked at widgets and aps and saw nothing unusual. All apps or widgets are either from Android market or Motorola. Phone has been charged using Motorola supplied charger. Sprint store took back this phone and game me a new one. Seemed to work ok but just go back from trip and same issues. I turned the phone off last evening and turned it on this morning. It would boot up but took 4 cycles to quit either freezing or blank screen. This is getting to be a painful solution. I do have the latest software installed.
In Windows they have programs that are in a startup folder and automatically run when you boot up. You can prevent them from running easily. In the Xoom I see some programs doing the same thing. Like Maps. I have no need for the Maps app to be running normally. I doubt if I would ever use it. I have GPS for the vehicles and mostly go to known locations now anyway.I don't want to remove the app particularly. You never know when you might decide it would be good to run it
MotoCast WiFi is fantastic! I love it! Except at boot-up time on my PC.
I run MotoCast WiFi on my trusty XP desktop. It is not a wimpy machine, but it isn't a quad-core screamer either. When I boot it up with MotoCast Wifi set to load automatically, MotoCast immediately starts grabbing almost all of the disk IO. Worse than Windows Search Indexer, worse than Google Music Manager. My computer becomes almost crippled for almost 20 minutes, and the disk drive with my docs and music library on it sounds like a jackhammer through it all.
So; is there a way to delay the MotoCast startup? And/or is there a way to set MotoCast to back off a little bit when rescanning my files? (It's like MotoCast has no sense of "only what's changed".)
And only on boot / startup? I want to create a password when I turn on the Droid, but once its on - just requre the normal screen swipe to use the device (I don't want to have to enter a password each and every time I try to use my phone!)
CardioTrainer seems to always boot at startup. I cannot kill the application nor can I remove it. How to remove this app or at least stop it from automatically starting?
Occurred 3rd time in last 2 months(well spread incidents) - Photon just starts rebooting continously on its own (shuts down - loads back to the startup screens - connects to sprint - shuts down again..... loop continues non stop). During the restarts if it is un-noticed for a while the phone gets very hot. The only way to stop is to pull the battery out, after which it starts fine. Not sure what the issue is. Any thoughts? Would not prefer to do a factory reset as there is no observed pattern, all three incidents were when phone was not being used and was in the pocket. No extra apps are running generally whenever I check through the task manager - I cannot check while the phone is rebooting though.
I'm learning more about my G4 every day and like it very much so far. One of the things I enjoy is the weather animation on the lock screen. But it only shows the wanimation for a couple of seconds before it goes away. Is there a way to keep it on longer? It would be nice to keep the animation on as long as the lock screen is displayed.
