I was using AK notepad and it wouldn't let me pin a note to the furtherest left homescreen.That screen is totally blank.It said homescreen didn't have room and out the note on the next page over.I can then grab the note and drag it to the blank homescreen.I deleted the app and installed classic notes but it does the same behavior.Why would it do this on that screen?

Tried forums but no concrete solution.

Mine seems to hang at night (seemingly about 20min after I plug it in for charging) and stays on yesterdays date and time until somehow it corrects itself the next day. There is no way to "activate it" or make it correct itself. All other clocks and calendars are correct.

The phone reboots itself sometimes when I try to make or receive a phone call (2 or 3 times a day). I know this is happening to other Photon owners and I already tried the factory reset twice. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a major issue with my corporate exchange calendar. If I accept an invitation to a meeting, the phone makes me the organizer of the meeting. This syncs back to my corporate calendar. This is obviously completely wrong. If I delete the meeting on my phone, or on my computer, it sends out a message to everyone that was on the meeting saying that it was cancelled. If I need to adjust the meeting only on my calendar, it sends out an update to everyone. It has caused a lot of confusion for me and my work colleagues.

My girlfriend has called me for the past three days and she says my phone rings and rings and goes to voicemail. I have Sprint Service. I am not using TeleNav or any other navagation, I am just using the GPS mode and Bluetooth is also running. I dont have any other issues with not receiving incoming calls unless its in the dock.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to v40, I've compared the new homescreen to the old homescreen and to the old homescreen with v21-31, these are my findings.
- The old homescreen on v40 does not have the email notification that Nokia introduced a short while ago and which was obviously VERY well recieved globally.
- The new homescreen on v40 has kinetic scrolling contacts which is, um, cute. It has the ability to control the music player (What I found to be very buggy, crashing it by simply pressing 'forward' when it's playing a folder with 1 song).
- The new homescreen on v40 does not have calendar and tasks, probably for the space the new music player-thing takes. This was my FAVORITE thing on the homescreen and I am sure I'm not alone.
I truly hope Nokia addresses these issues by either returning the email notifications to the old homescreen or somehow allowing to see the calendar and tasks on the new homescreen. Or both.
If I have 5 or more all-day events on one day, the calendar doesn't display the text of the events, which also makes the lines very skinny and difficult to select.

I did a full factory reset about a month ago. the last couple of days the phone has been freezing with the alarm. the alarm will go off and I might get one or two snoozes out of it then the display freezes and is unresponsive. O can push the power button to get the power off menu but the screen will not respond to allow a power off, I must remove the battery to reset the phone.and as anyone who has a Photon knows how much fun putting the back on is. Any ideas.again this is a pretty fresh reboot and I do not have near as many apps running as before the reboot

I have uninstalled updates and reinstalled a few times, but it seems that app is dug in there, and won't leave.Because Sprint customer service has NO CLUE (after 4 reps) how the app works, or how to get rid of it?

I went to Settings > Storage and I saw that "System & other" is taking up 9.66GB. Is it supposed to be taking up this much? If not, what can I do to reduce this? Then, when I go to Content to try to delete some things, it lists "Browser" and "Miscellaneous." I don't understand what exactly is under these tabs. If I click "Browser," I see a lot of "IMAG" along with music files that are on my phone. So if I delete these items, does it mean I am deleting those specific pictures and music tracks from my phone altogether? If so, then why aren't they solely under "Music" or "Photos"? Also with Misc.; When I click it, I see things labelled such as Snapchat or Tumblr.
View 1 Replies View RelatedToday I went onto the apps store on my Iphone 4 and tried to download N.O.V.A 3 but it came up with a message saying I don't have enough free space. So I click on the settings tap and it closes the message, last OS update it use to take me to the settings but now it just closes. So I open the settings myself and see I have 4GB free. What the? N.O.V.A 3 is 1.5GBs in size, my phone and if I plug it into Itunes is telling me I have 4GBs left yet I don't have enough room to install a 1.5GB game.
Dunno if this could be related, but 2 OS updates ago there was a bug that caused the phone to give you a incorrect space value. Back then it was saying I had a significant amount of free space more than what I actually had. For instance it would say I have 2GB left but if I went to Itunes it would say the correct ammount of a few MBs. But that's not the problem now, ever since I updated to the latest OS instead of Itunes being right and the phone being wrong, either both are right or both are wrong so to speak. I could wipe app by app untill it says I have enough room left but syncing them back accross will take hours so id rather not do that unless i have to.

for a lighter topic i thought i would share how i setup my homescreen. i dont like to scroll around screens looking for stuff or open the app drawer looking for it either.ne of my favorite apps is Folder Organizer and i make good use of it on all my Android devices. i also realize that the D3 has a similar built in function for folders but it is not nearly as feature rich as what i use so i prefer my 3rd party app for this.Here are a few screen shots:i have blanked out some pics and personal info)hen i choose any of the icons not on my dock i get all the apps i setup to be associated with that folder. here is my tools folder open. if you have more apps than can fit on the screen its ok the folder will scroll to show you all the apps:
here is a shoot of my screen where i labeled my icons so you can see where i am putting my stuff but of course this is just to show you and my screen does not have these labels. i dont like labels on anything since i know what they are:i use folder organizer to make new custom direct links for the camera and camcorder since i like those icons better and i dont want them labeled. you can use icons from any icon set that you have which is nice or folder organizer comes with a lot itself.this is not an ad for folder organizer it is just what i use and i thought i would share my setup.

I did sync my phone on a regular basis and I think the memos should be on the desktop computer. I tried to do a restore function but I got a message saying there was not enough room on the iPhone. First of all, for some reason Nokia have decided to categories Artists AND Albums together, rather than have a separate Artists category and separate Albums category. It seems to work fine if you have an album from a single artist, but seems to be messed up if you have compilation albums (Such as the NOW albums)For example:I know I have Cheryl Cole's "Fight For This Love" on my memory card, which is on NOW 74 Disc I. However, there are no listings for Cheryl Cole, and there is no way for me to browse via album name. Instead, it can weirdly be found listed under Little Boots, along with other tracks from that album.
It seems a little backwards to me, and an illogical way of doing things. I would have much preferred to have had separate options for Artist and Albums. I know I have at least two Cheryl Cole tracks on my memory card, yet the software doesn't seem to recognise them at all, despite the track tags being up-to-date (They appear on all my other phones). This also happens for many other multi-artist albums.
I also found that the equaliser is limited to only five built-in presets, and there doesn't seem to be an option to set the levels yourself, as you could previously on other Nokia handsets in the past. Nokia also seem to be pimping the Shuffle mode on almost every screen in the music player - Moreso than seems normal I think there is definitely room for improvement in regards to the music listening experience, and it feels as if Nokia haven't quite finished the design. If anything, they've broken what was previously a perfect interface on models such as the N91, N82, N95, and N96 et al...
I'd really like to be able to watch movies in my dorm, and I just got a new Vizio TV from walmart. If I have the netflix app on my iphone, how would I go about connecting the iphone to the TV, to take advantage of the unlimited movies? What exactly do I need to buy, and would the output be high quality and worth it?
Oh, and I'm not considering doing it through my computer because my internet usage is somewhat monitored,and my university will bill me if I go over. I have 5 bars anyways so it's not that big of a deal.
On my 32G iphone 4, the auto brightness option gives a very dim screen in a dark room. Tried to search a little, seems many users reported the same behavior. I wonder if this is the same to every iphone 4 out there. This is very annoying, making the phone almost unusable in dark environment.
