Last yeay I bought my kids NET10 Motorola em326g phones. Because of trouble with the carrier(see my other posts) I got them other phones on other carriers. Ive used their phones as spares till they expire. Well anyway I like a lot of things about the handset-slider,small size,megapixel camera,browser,etc. Is there a similar Motorola model available on other carriers?

However, I would like to have the functionality that i have been used to with my previous phone, the Motorola Razr. I would like to be able to send SMS from my PC via the connected iPhone, without Jailbreaking my phone. I have googled and found iPhone PC Suite, however it states you need a Jailbreak phone and i don't want to jailbreak the phone.There is a Japanese that has the functionality I'm looking for. But, it is written all in Japanese. And, I can't read Japanese

Is there a way to turn off texting on the em326G? My son is getting spam text messages and he'd like to just disable the texting feature if possible. He called customer care and the rep (who was located outside of the country) didn't know.

This seems to confuse my N900 to no end - at times, when person A calls, it gets put into the call log as person B, and so on. Very annoying when you miss a call from either one: You can never be sure which one called you. Any ideas how to fix this / will it be fixed in the next update?

I have two different contacts on my phone. These are Lesley and Lesley India. When I ask Siri to call Lesley I am asked which one I want to call being given the options of Lesley or Lesley India. If I state just Lesley then Siri asks me the same question i.e. Lesley or Lesley India. My old iPhone 3GS could work this out fine but Siri can't!

I have a BB Curve 8530 and I have an icon on my home screen that I cannot figure out. It looks similar to the icon used for missed call or placed call except it has a curved arrow next to it. It is a gold phone receiver and the arrow is bent at a 45 degree angle. (Kind of like a backwards check mark with an arrow head on the bottom). I have a suspicion that it has to do with call forwarding since I forwarded calls to different phone # the other day, however, I cancelled that. I have checked my messages folder, rebooted, pulled battery, done an update, etc. Nothing works. I looked through the manual and it doesn't show the icon.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased a new 32gb iPhone 4 from my local Apple Store. After everything was all setup, I walked around the store trying to replicate the "death grip" which I was able to do, mostly anyway. A few seconds go by and a screen pops up, very similar to the incoming call screen.
It was plank at the top where the number usually would go, and below that it said "Pwr on/off". At the bottom was the usual Accept / Decline buttons. The Apple genius immediately said "Oh, hold on a sec" and pressed the "Accept" button, and the screen disappeared. When I asked him about it, he was very very coy about it and said "Oh, it was a diagnostic screen, don't worry about it. It's gone and you won't see it again." I kept asking what the screen was and he kept deflecting the question.
Anyways, much of the screen description was coming from memory, so I'm not 100% sure it was exactly, but it was damn close. I wish I had time to take a screenshot. Anyways, has anyone else seen this screen before? What is it?
I just received my x2 yesterday. When gmail arrives on the phone, as soon as it appears on my computer it disappears from the phone. Is there a setting i need to change?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI logged into another gmail account on my phone, I did without any problem, viewed/deleted some emails, and logged off. I then re-logged into my higher usage email (the main one I use on everything and the phone is registered with). I had the "Smooth Calender" app isntalled, but uninstalled that because the update happened around the email checking and it started acting goofy when I updated anyway.After I did that, I went to check my calender on my phone to schedule appointments and noticed that my calender is almost completely empty. I checked my calender online under the account email that I currently have it synced to and it is full like I have it. Now the situation is when I enter a calender event online it WILL NOT sync to my phone, nor has any of the repeat events synced.
When I enter an event in my phone, it syncs to the online calender AND to the phone with reminders and such if I set it up that way.I cleared the gmail cache on the phone (but did NOT clear data, didn't know if that is advisable), I checked to make sure the correct calenders are checked to sync. I also went to Settings > Account > 'Account in question' and made sure it was selected.I DO NOT see an auto sync feature anywhere on the phone, and I can't remember having checked it before and didn't have a problem with anything until I did the logging into and back out of my emails.What can I do, or need to do, to fix this? My calender is very important to me as I always have my phone on me and don't always have a paper calender on me.
How do I set the phone up with the network? It seems I can only text/phone and cannot link up the network.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the past 2 days, my phone's (it's a refurb) been acting up. It would freeze and then I would have to perform the obligatory battery pull several times. Today (11/5) my phone would turn on, I would be able to use it for a short time (when I say short, I mean a few minutes) the phone screen would go into battery saving mode, and then If I tried to wake it back up, nothing would display on the screen so I then again tried the obligatory battery pull. What can I do?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI find that sometimes when I go to wake my phone, it is totally off and will not wake at all. Also, it sometimes still has the LED flashing but attempts to wake it by pressing the menu button or on/off switch don't work at all and the only resolution is to do a battery pull.Anyone else having these issues?I am also very disappinted with the speaker volume. I had an original Motorola Droid and that speaker was loud and powerful. This speaker is pitiful. There's no use using it as an alarm clock. The vibrate doesn't work half the time either.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am usually an optimist about my DX2, and have also been one of the minorities, in that, my phone has been very dependable and stable, but I think my luck may have run out. When I tried to unlock my phone, my phone went straight to the voice command prompt. Then when I was able tp exit out, I attempted to open the browser, the phone started to flash the website address, then proceeded to FC. I haven't done a factory reset on it quite yet, and I would love to avoid that, if possible, but I fear this seems like a problem that is rectified with it.

When I do click sleep, the screen goes black, like it should, but I cannot bring my phone out of it. THe only way I can turn my phone on is if I plug it in for charging or if I do a battery pull.Is the phone defective, or is this a known software issue?
