After replacing the lcd on my razr v3, now the ear speaker does not work (not the speakerphone). I have bought and installed a new OEM flex cable with speaker, to no avail. I checked the volume and it is fine. This speaker was working fine when this lcd was in another phone. The speakerphone works fine. What simple detail am I overlooking now ?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI currently keep the power button set to end calls. During a speaker phone call the screen goes off (as expected). The only way to get it to turn back on is to hit the power button, which ends the call. If I change the settings to have the power button to not end calls the screen will come back on and I could switch out of speaker phone. Is there a way to get the screen back on while leaving the power button to end calls?

On my DX it was lower and never was completely covered. Not a complaint, just surprised as I missed a few calls due to the phone sitting on my car seat and sofa.

It was ringing from the earpiece speaker for no reason. No text, email, call, Nothing... The only way to get it to stop was to hold down the power and volume keys and do a reboot.

When I dock my Razr HD (JB 4.1.2) to my genuine Motorola car dock, my music will automatically route to the car speakers, which is what I want but for incoming and outgoing calls the audio goes to the phones external speaker by default. I can touch the speaker button that then routes the audio to the car speakers but how do I make call audio route to the car speakers by default and not the phones external speaker?If there isn't a setting I can change then maybe an app that will do it for me?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have this problem on my new RAZR MAXX as well as my Bionic.After using a Bluetooth stereo headset or Bluetooth in the car, once the connection drops, the phone's speaker stops working for awhile.For instance, you might get a call and the phone doesn't ring, or you might play some music and the speaker is silent.This usually clears up after stopping and starting the music again, or if you get a second phone call it will ring.

I've tried rebooting, reinstalling the OS, etc... so I took to the internet: [URL]. Pressing on the kevlar cover works for a brief time; but when I am missing calls or notifications, its a little late to be pressing on the back cover to make the speaker connection. I dropped my phone when I first got it (March '12) so the warranty center is going to claim physical damage and charge me full retail for the phone. I can't go for much longer with a phone that doesn't ring.

I've noticed that in a couple of places in the house and the far corners of our farm where the phone signal is sometimes spotty, I can always, ALWAYS get a good, solid, strong voice when I put it on speaker. If I turn speaker off and hold it up near my ear - even an inch or two away, I lose the connection instantly. Just a data point.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Razr got upgraded to ICS this morning. Now I have no ringer. Yes silent mode is off and volume is turned all the way up. If I go to 'system setting', 'sound' and try to change the 'phone ringtone' or 'default notification', the get the message "Activity Android System is not responding". I was able to turn on "Vibrate and ring", so at least I'm getting vibation, but no ringtone.

Yesterday I found the "Accounts and Sync Settings" application in my phone and as I checked it there, I found that my email accounts are listed there but the synchronisation settings for them is set to "OFF" which may be the reason why is the push not working.

Whether plugged in to charger or not, after two minutes the screen went BLANK (locked), and stayed such until I unlock it.Due to issues with it automatically redialing the last number (did my voice mail 51 times before I powered it off), got a replacement.This one after the 2 minutes, the screen would DIM, but would not go BLANK, but only when plugged in to the charger. Off the charger, 2 minutes, screen goes blank.Verizon has been no help on this. This phone kept losing the data connection, so they have sent me a 3rd... and it does the same with regards to the screen going blank.

View 14 Replies View RelatedEvery time I connect my phone to the original USB cable the Motocast USB program starts running and then it says please wait while Motocast USB loads your content, and finally the MML has stopped working window pops up with the only option to close the program. I have uninstalled the program and re-installed a new version of it, but that doesn't seem to work. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I have downloaded a patch that I replaced, even though when I tried to replace it the computer told me I required administrator authorization. However when I proceeded with this action it seems to have replaced the old one with the new one.I have no idea what to do, nor know where to find the problem in writing to post somewhere. My computer knowledge is very limited.

I was on a plane a few weeks ago, put my headphones in and couldn't figure out why I had no sound... turns out all my neighbors heard it cause it was coming out of the speaker... Then when I got back to the US last week, I put it in my car dock and it doesn't send audio to the cable and plays only thru the speaker as well.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got my Droid Razr Maxx HD and everything is great except I can't seem to get the Picasa functionality working. In the Gallery app when I hit the share button and hit Picasa it just says failed to retrieve account information. It also does not show me any of my Picasa galleries in the Gallery app like all of my previous phones(including the Droid Razr Maxx) did.
I also do not see a way to log into my Picasa account in the Accounts & Sync area of the phone settings. My Picasa and my Google account are the same by the way.
Maybe Im doing something wrong...connected two different sets of earbuds to the RAZR and the sound continues to come out of the external speaker.Used a set of Skull Candy buds and Senheisers same result with each. Didnt see any setting that was disabled....did I get a broken phone?No headphone icon shows when the ear buds are plugged in either
