Motorola Droid Razr :: Email Accounts Dropping From Push To Fetch?
Dec 22, 2011I've had my RAZR about a week coming from a Droid X, so I know this worked before.I have 2 corp sync accounts with my home broadband provider, Frontier. Initially, one of my accounts kept falling out of Push into Fetch.Last night I did a factory reset to see if that would help. Of course, to make things interesting, this morning I had the new firmware update waiting to be installed, so I let that go in.Strange enough, now both my accounts are falling from push to fetch. Im a long time DX user, so I'm sure I have my settings correct. When I run that "verify server" it comes back with "success" Doing some searching, I got a hit on the Bionic forum, but no resolution....[URL]

Feb 28, 2012I'm using the email app for my work email. It's using the IMAP protocol. I'm not using the corporate sync functionality. After doing a manual sync by pressing the refresh icon, I would get emails pushed to my phone fine. However, after some time emails stop getting pushed to my phone. The period of time when push seems to be working varies around a few hours. When it stops working I have to do a manual sync again in order to get push to work for another few hours.

Jul 4, 2012Prior to the ICS upgrade I was able to receive and view text messages through Ford Sync. After the upgrade I still have the MAP option toggles available on Ford Sync setup screens but Sync doesn't display a new text message notification and when I tell it to download existing text messages from the phone it starts to and then displays "downloading error". I've unpaired and paired the Razr Maxx several times without success. One of the primary reasons I bought the Razr Maxx over other phones was because it supported the MAP profile.

Apr 19, 2011Our facility uses Exchange Server 2003, and I have not had problems with my Corporate Sync e-mail since receiving Froyo back in September. If I was sitting at my desk, I would consistently get a push notification on my phone a few seconds before I saw a new e-mail pop up on the Web Access client on my PC. It was great.All of a sudden, I am getting nothing. I missed several important e-mails over the weekend, and my phone will not show new messages unless I open the E-mail client and manually Refresh.
I have removed/re-added the Account a couple of times, but that doesn't seem to do any good. I have a colleague who has an Incredible, and his work e-mails are working just fine, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem with the Exchange server. The login/password aren't wrong, since I can Refresh and receive my new messages, but why would the push e-mail just halt? Are there known problems on the Blur servers? If so, is there a way we can find out about that without having to just miss a bunch of e-mails?

Mar 13, 2012On my Droid Razr Maxx using Corporate Sync with the built-in email client attached to an Exchange 2010 server, when i receive an email that is digitally signed (but not encrypted) any and all attachments do not come with the email. (no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.

If I use any of the GPS apps it finds 0 satellites in view no matter how long it stays out. I'm really hoping I didn't get screwed on this craigslist deal, but my stomach is sinking right now. Feb 10, 2012when I got update I had to do hard reset due to phone acting up. Now I can't set up my corporate email. Advises it failed to load. So you have to set it up before update and hope you never have to do a hard reset. Also noticed I have more data drop outs and data is very slow.

Jun 30, 2012My Razr got upgraded to ICS this morning. Now I have no ringer. Yes silent mode is off and volume is turned all the way up. If I go to 'system setting', 'sound' and try to change the 'phone ringtone' or 'default notification', the get the message "Activity Android System is not responding". I was able to turn on "Vibrate and ring", so at least I'm getting vibation, but no ringtone.

Dec 2, 2011I got a RAZR a couple of weeks ago for my wife, and I made a mistake setting it up. I setup the email app instead of the gmail app. Now all the emails are going only to the phone, so unless the laptop is left on all the time (we use google apps sync to outlook), it never gets any emails.
How do I get these emails back to gmail? Can I mass forward these emails back out somehow? I can forward one at a time, and I can save to the sd messaging folder one at a time.

Aug 4, 2012Unfortunately I got the ICS update a couple of weeks ago. I use my Razr Maxx as a business phone and since the update I can no longer email 'groups'. I have deleted the groups and entered them again....I have spent HOURS on the phone with Motorola and Verizon and all they keep doing is guessing at the cause. Motorola actually remotely accessed my phone and tried to figure out why this isn't working now with NO LUCK! I should be able to enter the group name in the To: and the group pull up. But it appears as though someone has FAILED to enable this simple function. Why in GOD's name even have 'groups'. I could do this on my blackberry in 2002. What a failure.
To be clear.This was no issue until the ICS update.it doesn't work on either Gmail or the Corp Exchange acct.This is clearly a failure and will take some type of update to fix.

It is set up now as an IMAP but I seem to get emails 30min or more after I receive them on my laptop wich has windows live on it set as POP3. My old droid incredible was set up as POP I also use charter email wich always seems to give people issues..I am wondering wich to use to get emails both on my phone and laptop the best. Mar 29, 2012New to the Maxx and having a problem - I use the default Yahoo Email APP. When I click on FOLDERS, it doesn't show the few additonal Folders that exist in my YAHOO account online. The only ones displayable are: Inbox, Trash, Outbox, and Sent. These appear to be only Folders ON my phone -- not what exists in my online YAHOO account.. On my previous phone, there use to be a way to display those other folders ..

Apr 4, 2012First Maxx had the display screen timeout set to 2 minutes. Whether plugged in to charger or not, after two minutes the screen went BLANK (locked), and stayed such until I unlock it.Due to issues with it automatically redialing the last number (did my voice mail 51 times before I powered it off), got a replacement.This one after the 2 minutes, the screen would DIM, but would not go BLANK, but only when plugged in to the charger. Off the charger, 2 minutes, screen goes blank.Verizon has been no help on this. This phone kept losing the data connection, so they have sent me a 3rd... and it does the same with regards to the screen going blank.
