Oct 7, 2012Everytime I try to register the product it doesn't work. The phone doesn't show and if I change it in my Forums profile it goes back.

Jul 1, 2012i remembered that being a standout feature of our phone, and while at home on wi fi (i have a 15mbps up and down fiber connection) netflix is just not playing back in the same quality that it used to.before i felt like video playback was almost on par with guys running 720p screens with higher ppi's...(rezound/gnex), at least within this particular app. but now? it looks like any other Internet vid with the quality on high (which imo still isnt all that great and still not as good as going to the desktop site and watching a vid set to 720 or 1080).no other phone was ever touted as having this ability (though i'm sure the rezound and gnex can) and a lot of it had to do with the omap processor being used...is something up with ics thats not letting it happen? or was it the most recent netflix update that supports 4.1?

Jun 30, 2012My Razr got upgraded to ICS this morning. Now I have no ringer. Yes silent mode is off and volume is turned all the way up. If I go to 'system setting', 'sound' and try to change the 'phone ringtone' or 'default notification', the get the message "Activity Android System is not responding". I was able to turn on "Vibrate and ring", so at least I'm getting vibation, but no ringtone.

Apr 4, 2012First Maxx had the display screen timeout set to 2 minutes. Whether plugged in to charger or not, after two minutes the screen went BLANK (locked), and stayed such until I unlock it.Due to issues with it automatically redialing the last number (did my voice mail 51 times before I powered it off), got a replacement.This one after the 2 minutes, the screen would DIM, but would not go BLANK, but only when plugged in to the charger. Off the charger, 2 minutes, screen goes blank.Verizon has been no help on this. This phone kept losing the data connection, so they have sent me a 3rd... and it does the same with regards to the screen going blank.

Aug 6, 2012Every time I connect my phone to the original USB cable the Motocast USB program starts running and then it says please wait while Motocast USB loads your content, and finally the MML has stopped working window pops up with the only option to close the program. I have uninstalled the program and re-installed a new version of it, but that doesn't seem to work. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I have downloaded a patch that I replaced, even though when I tried to replace it the computer told me I required administrator authorization. However when I proceeded with this action it seems to have replaced the old one with the new one.I have no idea what to do, nor know where to find the problem in writing to post somewhere. My computer knowledge is very limited.

Oct 26, 2012I just got my Droid Razr Maxx HD and everything is great except I can't seem to get the Picasa functionality working. In the Gallery app when I hit the share button and hit Picasa it just says failed to retrieve account information. It also does not show me any of my Picasa galleries in the Gallery app like all of my previous phones(including the Droid Razr Maxx) did.
I also do not see a way to log into my Picasa account in the Accounts & Sync area of the phone settings. My Picasa and my Google account are the same by the way.

Jul 30, 2011Having major trouble as of yesterday afternoon. Seems my touch Screen is on the frits. I noticed my back button didn't work all of a sudden, but the search and home and menu buttons all still work. and i could barely unlock my phone because a strip up from the back button wasn't working. I have done all i know to do at this point, pulled the battery twice, As bad as i hated to, i did a factory reset, which did increase the speed but i lost all of my customizations, and apps. I had 122 market apps and salvaged about 20 - 40 from the market, only 4 was paid. Anyways the problem still existed. IT came back for a few minutes after about an hour after the factory restore, and started working, then went away again. and didn't work again until i started typing this thread. I know it won't last though....
I'm out of warranty and i got shot down by calling verizon for a replacement, thought i might run by a store later to see what i can do. I want to hold out on an upgrade until next year when hopefully the droid 4 will have a keyboard and 3g . I hate to upgrade to a 3g phone this year when 4g is in my area now.

May 24, 2012Exchange Active Sync is not working for me. It will not sync anything. I can not get or send email.This had worked fine for months. Tried rebooting phone and deleting and adding back account. In the settings did the verify account and it says sucessful. Works for email if I use the "Email Accounts" option and not "Corporate Sync" option but I need my contacts and calander also to work.

Mar 14, 2012All of a sudden this morning my three-week old Razr MAXX stopped connecting to my local wifi network (Verizon FIOS router B + G).
It shows the network SSID and signal strength, and I've entered and saved the WEP password, but it just won't connect. I have powered off the phone, and the router, and all my other devices are working, but the Razr MAXX just won't connect.

Nov 20, 2011In an effort to "squeeze" as much life out of my battery as possible I decided to take a Moto Rep's video/recommendation and use the stock Task Manager to turn off selected apps 2 minutes after screen off. This strategy worked pretty good on my Pro, but it doesn't do so well on the Razr. After monitoring the stock Task Manager now for a week, it appears that it does not turn off selected apps after 2 minutes of screen off. We all realize the battery demand on the Razr and there is a lot of experimentation going on (that is a good thing) to develop settings (Smart Actions etc) that prolong time between charges. It would be nice if we could have an effective Task Manager (stock and Moto approved) that would be another "tool in the tool box".

Nov 26, 2012Today I discovered my speakerphone was not working. On phone calls, the speakerphone light comes on but the audio only comes from the earpiece. Every few calls, the speakerphone starts working midway through the call. On Skype video calls, the same thing. The audio comes only from the earpiece. I have removed and reinstalled Skype. No change. The ringer works as do all the notifications so the speaker is working. I have tried disabling bluethooth to make sure it was not interfering. No change.

Motorola Droid Razr :: Video Playback Not Working Correctly
Feb 18, 2012My issue is this, I cannot "fast forward" a video during playback. I can select a "fast forward" spot in the video using the slider or control panel but as soon as I let go it reverts back to where it was before (usually the beginning). The really weird part is when I download a player app it initially works, it did this trying RockPlayer, GeekVideo, BSPlayer and others, but as soon as I exit and re-start the apps they revert back to this behavior. My videos are 2.5 hours long and I need the ability to start, and re-start them at differnt points.
I tried MoboPlayer and it behaved the same. I noticed that the file type that does not work is the .WMV, the .MP4's work as they should.
Is this an issue with 2.3.6 that would be fixed if I go back to 2.3.5? I did not see any posts on the internet about this specific issue so I am confused. I received my RAZR MAXX a few days ago. I did the OTA update to 2.3.6 before checking this issue on 2.3.5.I am not rooted or modified in any way.I do not have this problem with the same applications with .WMV files on my old DX running GB 2.3.3 or my tablet running HC 3.2.1

Jan 22, 2013I have a 32gb class 4 ScanDisk MicroSD card for my Droid Razr M. Everything was fine until sometime yesterday (I think).I noticed this morning that my morning wake-up alarm was not what I had set it to, but was a generic sound. I checked the settings and all my "custom" ringtones were missing. I then went to the files app & saw that the SD card read "0.00 GB available." Clicked on it and it says "SD card not found. Please check that SD card is properly inserted and mounted." Funny, seeing as I haven't removed the card since I got the phone & it was working just fine up to this point. I've tried using a card reader to plug into my desktop & the computer doesn't even recognize that there is a card in the reader. I'd hate to do it but it looks like I might need to reformat the card thereby losing all of my pictures & music. The problem is that neither my phone nor my computer see the card.
