I am setting up my email accounts and I have two AOL emails and one gmail.When I click on AOL tab and enter in my email address and password the phone says I already have that account.It is not on the phone though. Is there anyway to reset the Accounts page back to default to start all over?

Brand new Car Dock and Razr. Installed and all good working no problems for first 2 days,then when I dock the RAZR it does not change to the car navigation screen or start to charge.Power light on the power cable. RAZR charges and transfers data via other cables.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my RAZR about a week coming from a Droid X, so I know this worked before.I have 2 corp sync accounts with my home broadband provider, Frontier. Initially, one of my accounts kept falling out of Push into Fetch.Last night I did a factory reset to see if that would help. Of course, to make things interesting, this morning I had the new firmware update waiting to be installed, so I let that go in.Strange enough, now both my accounts are falling from push to fetch. Im a long time DX user, so I'm sure I have my settings correct. When I run that "verify server" it comes back with "success" Doing some searching, I got a hit on the Bionic forum, but no resolution....[URL]

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was facing problems similar to this ( Gallery crash after OTA ICS update )url..I followed the thread and did a factory reset.I now find that the problem is solved but the UI after factory reset is different from the original UI that came with ICS update. I kinda like previous UI. I am guessing it is Motoblur. Is there any way to get that back.
View 13 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else having an issue where the GPS indicator blinks non-stop (indicating the phone is actively using GPS) every time you start the phone (reboot)?
Anytime I cycle the phone, the GPS searches and apparently does not stop. If I use the GPS Toggle widget (the included one) and toggle it off and then on, it stops until an application uses it.
I have checked and do not see an app that would use GPS starting automatically. If I can, I will be reporting it to the developer.
how often the social apps for facebook and twitter sync for those accounts integrated on the RAZR. On the Bionic which was very similar, we had the option of selection "PUSH" or we could fetch the data for those feeds at different time frames. I dont see that option at all on the RAZR, and i would rather not have push going all day for facebook and twitter...

However sometimes when I plug in the charger the status led blinks once but then the charging screen does not start and charging does not start - I have noticed that if I then press the power on button the charging screen starts up and charging commences. Is this normal?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just 'upgraded' from my trusty DroidX to a Droid Razr Maxx HD (what a mouthful).The new device has a nice screen but (apart from the backside) the overall finish / design is nowhere near as elegant as the DroidX. Sigh.My question is this: on my old trusty DroidX the external SD card that came with the device was already pre-configured as the default location for all app data (I'm not talking about the app executables), the camera storage (/DCIM etc), music and my own files (text, excel, pdf etc). On the new Razr Maxx HD there is an internal 'SD Card' (how can an SD Card be 'internal'?!?) and this is the default location for all data files.
After some snooping around I found that the internal 'card' is at /mnt/sdcard and the external card is at /mnt/external1. How does Verizon/Motorola expect a consumer find out this or work with this information?Of course, I can go into camera settings to re-point the camera to store photos on the (real) external SD card. But the screen capture utility (power and volume down) still writes to the internal area - as does the Download capability (ie from email) - and as do all other apps for their 'data' files (remember, I'm not talking about the apps executable files here).Is there a simple way (for us non-rooted phones) to set the true external SD Card as the default destination for all data files? The current set-up is sooo frustrating. I can't just whip the SD card out of the phone and know all my data is in this one place.
I am with Verizon and have the Razr Maxx. Using the default text app I am sending out texts to friends who almost always respond quickly.
However, I am noticing that a lot of them are not replying. Sometimes they get them, sometimes not. I ask them to reply so I can make sure they got the text, but no reply. If I text my wife, she recieves the text ok and replies to my phone. The text messages sent show a "sent" status.
Not sure if this is a Windows 10 Mobile problem or a Lumia 950 issue.
When using my Edge or UC Browser I find that each time I press the BACK button on a page it sends me to the top of the screen I was previously on.
With my 920, and desktop browsers, when I press back it takes me to the location of the screen I was previously on. This is a huge inconvenience when the page I am browsing is long and I then need to scroll all the way back down to get to where I was before.
I also notice this to be the case on the Microsoft Sports app. The News app works properly but the Sports app, Edge, and UC Browser all exhibit this irritating trait.
I often download large PowerPoint presentations or other office files from gmail and stock email app. By default they go to the download folder at /mnt/sdcard which is in fact not the sd card but internal memory. I would like these files to automatically download to the download folder on my sd card /mnt/external1/downloads. Is there some setting that would allow this?

Recently my SD card got full while I was taking pictures, and so the new saved pictures were moved automatically to the internal memory. Now, each time I take a photo or a video, it is automatically saved to a "DCIM" folder in the device storage (the photos taken with the Facebook app are saved in the same folder too).Since the folder changed, I have problems with camera apps like the default camera app, the facebook camera app or the paper camera app. They freeze each time I try to take a picture.I also have a problem with the gallery app, which cannot upload (display?) the photos and videos I took anymore. It is refreshing, but nothing shows up.I would like to restore the default gallery folder in the SD card, so that each time I take a photo or a video, it is saved in my SD card.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was running GB on my phone since I purchased. Battery life was fine. Used upto a complete day with normal usage and heavy usage lead me to end up around 12 - 15 hours. It is normal. After few day of usage (About 2 weeks) I found battery starts to drain faster. Ok then I gave a factory reset. Oh amazing, I got the battery life back same as when I purchased,After a month I recieved update of ICS. Wow it was fantastic. It gave me the creeps. My normal usage went a day + . after a week I feld the same battery drain issue. What I could guess? guessed it might be a problem of installing more and more apps. Ok from this point onward, I was aware and wanted to check it out. Gave a factory reset again. fueled the battery to its maximum.
Installed any software the I must need. Oh I could not believe. see the screen shot how my normal usage was.. (1 day + 19 H) same devil has came back after a week.Battery started to drain fast. See the screenshot I got now. It shows 50% usage for last 6-7 hours. As to my calculation depends on best usage, it shoule be only 20 to 30 percentage. what's the hell is going on ??
After reading the posts here about assigning a different texting app rather than using VZWs stock texting app, I decided to try it. I disabled the stock app, which DID remove it from the lock screen. It left a blank space. When I dragged down toward it, it opened the camera app instead.
I noticed in Manage Apps> App Info that there is a selection called Launch by Default/No defaults set, and a button marked Clear Defaults. This section is grayed out in every single app in manage apps; how to enable it? I'd like to disable VZW text messaging, and enable Google Talk in its place.
Secondly - after the ICS update, I now have multiple references to the same apps in Manage Apps>All Apps. There are three separate references for Backup Assistant Plus, and two for Google Maps. Looking at App Info, some are the old versions (pre ICS) and some are the new ones (post ICS). Is there a way to delete the old references and clean things up a tad?
I just got out of a live chat w a Motorola rep, and they had no answers either. Or maybe I should quit digging into the phone and just enjoy it? LOL it's like picking at a scab.
whenever I open Chrome on my phone and choose bookmarks, by default it brings me to the Verizon Bookmarks (which it won't even let me delete). Is there anyway I can get the phone to open to my bookmarks by default instead of Verizon's? Extra points if someone can tell me how to delete Verizon's bookmarks permanently.

Yesterday I was using it as a WiFi hotspot and I noticed during the use the data stopped, the 4G data icon went away and only the signal strength was there.A few seconds later the 4G popped up again and all was fine.Nothing more; just maybe looked like a modem reset and recovery.

Pulled out the headset from the jack and was going to make a call. When the screen turned on there was the Android icon with what looked like a green "electron cloud" type symbol animated in its open "belly". After a few minutes with that on the display, tried to shut the phone off, it wouldn't power down so I did the volume down and power button. When it came back, the phone was cleared asking me to select a language.

It shows every 15 minutes (not thrilled with that either) but still won't do it. I really like the stock e-mail app with the gesture swipe too and just the general look of it. How can the g-mail app continuously sync and not this one? Plus I don't want notifications coming up for both apps, it's pretty redundant.Data push is turned on for: my gmail accountFetch Schedule is every 15 minutes but it shows for "no accounts" can't find an option that connects my account.
