My spouse and I are both experiencing frequent start up of the Voice Command function when listening to our music library. Also the phone will repeatedly dial the last number call when listening to music as well.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought this phone yesterday and I am already unsure if I made the right decision. The phone has only 70 something MB memory, of which 28 or such is taken up b the apps. There only 50+ plus mem left. There aren't any sounds or images preinstalled in this phone (not a single one).
Now this Voice Command thing is preventing me from listening to music. At first, whenever I switched the radio on, it asked me to activate the Voice command feature. Now when I selected it, it keeps on displying "Speak Now" every 4 seconds, interrupting the whole music. I try to speak commands like radio, but it doesn't work.Can someone guide me? I am getting frustrated by this frequent disturbance, everytime I switch on the radio.
I can get my calendar to open with a voice command. But is there a way (or an app) to actually get it to make an appointment (such as: Meet John on Decemebver 29th at 10am) with just voice commands.
View 1 Replies View Relatedif I dial a contact via the Razr's voice command using my Bluetooth headset, the call connects, but neither party can hear audio. If I dial by selecting the contact manually, using the same Bluetooth headset, the call connects normally and audio is fine.The headset is a Jabra 250 and I don't have easy access to another Bluetooth device at the moment. Can't tell if this is a sw or hw issue on the Razr or the headset (which is an older model but still works just fine with original Droid Razr).

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I just discovered that /sdcard is really internal and the removable sdcard is /sdcard-extI don't have any music in /sdcard/music, it's all in /sdcard-ext/music and I don't want to move it (It wouldn't all fit anyway.)My Music library says "There is no music" because it doesn't appear to look in sdcard-ext. How do I change this so that music files on the removeable SD card are found by My Music and appear in the library?

This doesnt happen, the only way is to unlock the phone using the slider and drawn the pattern. This is kind of irritating as one can do this basic task in any other phones. I want to be able to say "Hey Droid Turbo, lock the screen" or something similar. I tried the "Goodnight" command but the screen still stays on even though I have it set to be off while sleeping. How to achieve my goal?
The issue occurs when playing music and you get CPU load. For me this usually occurs within 6 hours after a reboot. Apps that use the network to stream music are more affected. This usually occurs while the screen is off at random times, and is resolved temporarily when you press the power button. However, there appears to be a bug in the OS where simply touching the screen can cause enough CPU load to create this issue, although that bug seems to require the phone being on for a while. It'll pick up a tune I've selected on the phone itself, but I can't browse for music from the car controls. This was something I could do with my old HTC Wildfire.
I really don't know if Jellybean supports OTG which was supported by ICS, the ability to connect with a OTG cable to a camera, USB drive, USD keyboard etc. Or if there is something wrong with my Maxx HD? Also can I use a bluetooth keyboard with the Maxx HD?

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen listening to music with the phone not in the Car Dock, I can view all songs, albums, artists, etc.... in the library.When I put the phone into the car dock, the library shows one folder, "Recently added", with nothing in it. No other music is displayed.If I want to change albums, I have to remove the phone from the dock, select the new album, and replace the phone in the dock.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else having an issue where the GPS indicator blinks non-stop (indicating the phone is actively using GPS) every time you start the phone (reboot)?
Anytime I cycle the phone, the GPS searches and apparently does not stop. If I use the GPS Toggle widget (the included one) and toggle it off and then on, it stops until an application uses it.
I have checked and do not see an app that would use GPS starting automatically. If I can, I will be reporting it to the developer.
Unless I'm missing something, a comma no longer functions as a pause in the dialing system for a saved contact since the update. It used to be handy for dialing extension numbers, authorization codes etc. but they seem to be ignored after the update. There is also no apparent way to edit a phone number with any character other than the ones on the dialpad.

However sometimes when I plug in the charger the status led blinks once but then the charging screen does not start and charging does not start - I have noticed that if I then press the power on button the charging screen starts up and charging commences. View 2 Replies View RelatedI was running GB on my phone since I purchased. Battery life was fine. Used upto a complete day with normal usage and heavy usage lead me to end up around 12 - 15 hours. It is normal. After few day of usage (About 2 weeks) I found battery starts to drain faster. Ok then I gave a factory reset. Oh amazing, I got the battery life back same as when I purchased,After a month I recieved update of ICS. Wow it was fantastic. It gave me the creeps. My normal usage went a day + . after a week I feld the same battery drain issue. What I could guess? guessed it might be a problem of installing more and more apps. Ok from this point onward, I was aware and wanted to check it out. Gave a factory reset again. fueled the battery to its maximum.
Installed any software the I must need. Oh I could not believe. see the screen shot how my normal usage was.. (1 day + 19 H) same devil has came back after a week.Battery started to drain fast. See the screenshot I got now. It shows 50% usage for last 6-7 hours. As to my calculation depends on best usage, it shoule be only 20 to 30 percentage. what's the hell is going on ??
I am setting up my email accounts and I have two AOL emails and one gmail.When I click on AOL tab and enter in my email address and password the phone says I already have that account.It is not on the phone though. Is there anyway to reset the Accounts page back to default to start all over?

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to use voice input for navigation I receive the message "unfortunatelky maps has stopped. This only started after the Jelly Bean update. I have done an FDR and cache wipe. I have disabled and reenabled maps. Nothing helps. After several days with Jelly Bean I am becoming more and more convinced that ICS was a better OS. I am tired of every time we get an update that something breaks or is removed and yet more and more bloat is forced upon us.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy voice search doesn't work when I am on wifi data. It keeps thinking over and over and comes back with no results. But when I switch to mobile data network it works fine and returns the results right away. I can not even use speech to text feature while on wifi it, it does the same thing as voice search on wifi. I am not able to find out what the problem is. The formatting was incorrectly checked causing all caps. Just changed the formatting to correct that.
