View 3 Replies View RelatedHas anyone experienced this problem? I have five email accounts on my phone, four regular and one corporate. I have them all setup to check for mail every hour. Before the ICS update, they all worked fine on that schedule. After the ICS update, the corporate account still updates fine, but the other four do not. I changed them to update every half hour, but no change. They still do not update. If I go to the account and manually refresh it, it will download my emails.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Razr and my carrier is Verizon. Ever since the motorola update on friday, 2/17 I cannot open 2 email accounts (bellsouth and godaddy) They both disappeared from my email icon and altough they are listed in My accounts they have a new green icon next to the name and underneath the email address it says com.motorola.blur.provider.email. The update didn't effect my gmail account. I have spoke to several Verizon reps and a Motorola rep after removing sims card, turning off and on and several soft resets nothing has worked. When I held down the email name in My Accounts it forces close. It says the application My Accounts (process com.motorola setup)has stopped unexpectedly pease try again.

View 13 Replies View RelatedSo, I have finally admitted it to myself, I'm getting old. Since our IT department doesn't want to combine applications for the ability to have one password to open everything, it is not really their fault, laws prohibit this. So to keep track of the four dozen passwords I habe at work, and two or three dozen personal ones, the spreadshhet has been made. It works OK at work, but when I'm home, it becomes a bit of a pain. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good quality password managing application. The only two criteria that I have is, it has to be encrypted, and I need to be able to pair it to my DX2, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and have the ability to access it on a computer. My initial thought is a good Excel file, that I can jot a couple lines of code to lock it down
View 3 Replies View RelatedToday I discovered the reason I am unable to use the Corporate Sync application is due to the fact that the password input field is limited to 50 characters. While I realize this length may already seem extreme, it is still a silly limitation which is likely just a simple hard-coded value in the application. Could someone at Motorola please remove this silly limitation and provide a build which is not contrained to a length which is within the allowable string length of a Windows password?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a couple phones. Well, quite a few. It started when I could not download books to the Turbo. It just put an exclamation point in the title and says sorry, try again later. I try again later for several days, and nothing changes. On the other hand everything works fine on my other phones, and I can log into Amazon no problem. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Kindle.
This is not a complete uninstall of course since Kindle is pre-installed and unless you root, you're stuck with it. But after I uninstalled the updates it still would not work. So I nuked from orbit by wiping the phone and reinstalling Kindle (well, updating the built-in version). Well, THAT changed it. Now it won't take the password. It allows me to CHANGE the password, and I did that. But even after changing it (successfully it said) and verifying that the new PW worked on another phone and on my laptop, it still won't take it. It says that username/password combination does not exist.
Just curious... I have my lock screen enabled (with numbers, not pattern). If my phone were to get lost or stolen, how hard is it for someone to bypass the lock screen? I was looking around on google and it looked like there were some issues in the past with the ease of bypassing it, but couldn't find if it has since been resolved with Froyo and beyond (left the phone at home, so can't test). If the built in password functionality is bogus, can you recommend any apps that you all like and are impossible to crack (or at least thug proof if I were to get robbed on the subway)? I'm really not interest in apps that locak individual applications, just the overall phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe upgrade to Gingerbread has been seamless aside from one issue that has recently popped up. I prefer that the only screen lock on my phone is the slider, but suddenly this option has gone away. When I hit the lock button, I expect that my phone's screen will go off and in order to turn it back on, I need to hit the lock button again and slide to unlock it. I do not want to enter a pattern, a pin, or a password. In order to get the slide lock to consistently show up after hitting the lock button, I need to add a pattern, pin or password. The slide lock will show up, but I also have to enter the pattern, pin or password after unlocking with the slide lock if the security lock timer setting has elapsed.

I delete the password, reenter it, it says: Updating Facebook service. The progress bar loads halfway and then says Internal server error occurred. Please try again. I then removed the account and readded it. I rentered my email address and password. The progress bar loads 1/3 of the way and it says: Adding your Facebook account. After that, it says Internal server error occurred. Please try again. I've tried turning the phone of and then turning it back on. I've also taken the battery out and done it that way. Still same result.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've notice what I'd consider a security issue. I have my phone set up to require a PIN after 20 minutes of non-use. This works fine EXCEPT for when I use the sleep mode (Power button-Sleep). If I let it sleep over-night then wake it up, it does NOT require the PIN number. So that means that if the phone were taken and I'd put it to sleep, then phone's vulnerable

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to add my email accounts from my website hosted by hostgator. I've contacted them and we went thru all the steps. The agent at hostgator was able to get my email on his Thunderbolt, but I can't get it to work on my Droid X. I've tried the walkthru provided to me by hostgator from Motorola, but it still fails. It's always telling me that my account name or password are incorrect. I've tripled checked my account names and passwords and they are correct and work fine on my desktop computer. I've tried several accounts and NONE will sync to my phone.
