In my universal inbox I get the error, "unable to connect to Facebook" when I touch the Facebook app. In my messaging app I have: universal inbox, text messaging, facebook, and verizon (home email box). What do I do to correct this error? I get unable to delete when I try to delete and add back.

View 12 Replies View RelatedLast week i had my Defy running UK T-Mobile Froyo suddenly stop being able to use Facebook or Twitter, despite other applications (HotUkDeals, Browser, Tesco ) all being able to connect to the net - it happened at the same time.I have since cleared the cache on both, uninstalled, re-installed, and all i keep getting when trying to login to FB is: "An error occurred during sign in" and on Twitter: "An error occured when signing in. Please try again later".
Is there a setting buried somewhere that might be causing this? Is it something like an SSL Cert becoming expired? Really annoyed by it as it means no FB messaging during the day.
I haven't used the lapdock in over a month.Recently attempted to connect and found I am unable.When I connect the lapdock it appears to connect normally, but then flashes back to the phone.While connected, the touch pad and keyboard are not functional. I also noticed I no longer get the options I use to when connecting (specifically no productivity mode).I have tried rebooting the phone, removing battery and repowering and reconnecting, no difference at all.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to connect to my shared folders on a Windows XP machine through the My Files app, but it keeps saying the login is incorrect. The shared folders are the typical XP Shared Documents in My Computer, and I can access them through EStrongs File Explorer easily, and the PC has a username and password so that's not the problem. It doesn't matter what I type in for that anyways.Shouldn't this work out of the box? It seems like I have to jump through some unspecified hoops here, and there's no clue what I'm supposed to do. It looks like a useless feature at this point.

I can log in at twitter.com on my PC and the Seesmic app loads the tweets just fine. My Droid sees the network SSID and treats it as a WEP secured network, so it only provides me the ability to enter the WEP password and not the whole range of WPA2 credentials. I have tried pulling up all advanced options I can reach from the WiFi screens without finding a way to change this. I have ICS on the phone.

It seems to have immediately synced with my Facebook, which is cool and all, but I don't have the ability to merge my existing contact with a person's number to their facebook profile contact. That is not the case with my Droid 3.
1) I've added a Facebook Account
2) There was no pre-installed facebook app so I downloaded and installed the Facebook App from the Market.
No pictures in my contacts although my facebook contacts did appear (in text form). I did wait a day to see if they'd come down. Next, I removed the app and the account. This time around I switched the order...
1) I installed the Facebook app from the market
2) I went to add and account. There was a small facebook icon and a large one. The large one looked "new" so I tapped it. The screen when blank for a second and then back to the account icons.
3) I chose the smaller facebook icon and was prompted for my login.
Facebook is listed as an account, but still no pictures in my contacts.
