Aug 11, 2011I am not able to access my facebook wall on my Droid. I can go to freinds and see their walls. When I try to load my wall, it says no content.

Motorola Droid :: X2 Won't Charge From Wall Charger
Aug 27, 2011last night my phone just stopped recognizing every android wall fharger i have. 3 other android devices all work fine, only thing not charging is my x2. As of now the only way to charge it is by plugging it into my computers usb port.

Is it resting?

Sep 10, 2011I've ordered two Bionics - they havent arrived yet, but I've read two reports online that only the Moto wall charger works effectively for charging the phone. One person in particular couldn't get the phone past 40% charge without switching to the Moto charger.
This makes me think the myriad micro-USB cables and chargers I have at home, in my car, and at work (where I usually charge via USB) aren't going to work w/my Bionic, including a charging station/organizer I have conveniently located in my kitchen.

Jan 13, 2012My Bionic is connected to my Exchange Server @ my Firm. My Firm requires Device/Storage Encryption, which the Bionic supports just fine. Now that our phones/SD cards are encrypted when the phone is connected to a PC and the SD card mounted the pics are no longer readable because they are encrypted. Windows is unable to read them, if I email that pic from my phone to my gmail I can open it just fine. If I try to open it direct from the SD its a NO GO. I already ruled out that its my PC I tried 5 other including my personal PC at home...NO GO! So how to I access the pictures direct off the SD?

I installed the Facebook app from the Market, and now when I go to accounts, and click Add, I see 2 facebook icons (one produces the annoying Motorola terms & conditions screen and I suspect is tied into Blur somehow), the other is clearly the Facebook account that goes with the Facebook app, but when I click that one, nothing happens. Can I add a facebook account without agreeing to Motorola's T&C (and possible getting bogged down in their social networking apps)?

It seems to have immediately synced with my Facebook, which is cool and all, but I don't have the ability to merge my existing contact with a person's number to their facebook profile contact. Jul 21, 2011I just upgraded from a Droid X to a Droid 3. On my X my facebook pictures automatically populated my contacts.
That is not the case with my Droid 3.
1) I've added a Facebook Account
2) There was no pre-installed facebook app so I downloaded and installed the Facebook App from the Market.
No pictures in my contacts although my facebook contacts did appear (in text form). I did wait a day to see if they'd come down. Next, I removed the app and the account. This time around I switched the order...
1) I installed the Facebook app from the market
2) I went to add and account. There was a small facebook icon and a large one. The large one looked "new" so I tapped it. The screen when blank for a second and then back to the account icons.
3) I chose the smaller facebook icon and was prompted for my login.
Facebook is listed as an account, but still no pictures in my contacts.

Oct 1, 2011I recently did a factory reset on my device and now when I log into facebook thru the account settings I am able to log in but my contacts don't show in my contact lists anymore and when I go into social networks I don't have any feed showing up like I did prior to the reset. I can post a status update with no problems. I logged into facebook and checked settings and still have droid in my allow applications to access my info. Is anybody else having this issue after a master reset? Is this issue maybe on facebooks side? Like I stated I've done many master resets on my droid x and droid x2 and never had the issue syncing fb back up.

Jul 8, 2012I had random issues with the fb app when on GB also, but now it wont start at all, or, it starts, then goes black and never recovers. finally about 10 - 15 minutes later I get a pop up message that the app has stopped responding and do I want to report it. Of course I report it every time.
I tried uninstalling the app completely but could not do it. I could only uninstall the upgrades made to it previously, so I tried that and then reinstalled the upgrades, but to no avail.
I did not realize that fb is a permanent app. I thought I could uninstall it completely, but I cannot. Has anyone else run into this with fb?
yes I did have other issues with ics and I have cache cleared and started uninstalling app's where possible. I have NOT tried a factory reset yet, but that may very well be next.

Dec 14, 2011i cant seem to sync my fb contacts.i entered my fb email/pass into the accounts appit said it was ok, but no contacts show up in my contacts nor do any show up in my gallery app. i tried re-entering the info, removing the acct, adding it again, rebooting my phone etc. now, it looks like there is a tiny bit of progress.. i can see "me" but that's it. in the contacts app, if i only select to display fb contacts, it just shows me and not body else. in the gallery app, if i hit menu and then hit "friends" again, it only shows me. why is this not pulling in any contacts/friends?

Jul 11, 2011Does anyone know if there is a way to sync contacts from FB to the phone the old way where you could choose to only sync those people that were already in your contacts list rather than sync every one of the 600 FB friends someone might have? My husband has groups on FB so he accepts a lot of people that have a certain car but groups them together. However he doesn't want to scroll through them all to make a phone call and doesn't like the idea of having to delete thm from his FB either. Nor does he like not having pictures for his contacts.
