View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running ICS on my Razr and cannot connect to GSM in Europe. I have the latest build (recieved in the soak test a little over a week ago), and have international roaming enabled with Verizon (verified this seveal times now). I've been all over France over the last several days, and have not been able to connect anywhere.I've tried, power cycling, hard reset, toggling nework mode (Global, CDMA, GSM), forcing GSM, and just about every setting configuration in the test menu (*#*#4636#*#*). The only thing I can see that may indicate a poblem (beside the fact that I can see, but can't connect to any GSM networks ) is that I can't select the EURO GSM radio band in the test menu.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I started to notice this a few weeks ago, My Droid 2 Global would automaticlly switch into silent mode all by itself at 10:00pm. No matter if it is in my pocket, or on my desk, or in the media dock. I find this to be quite annoying and missed a lot of calls and texts because of this. What I would like to know, is there a setting that control auto silent mode?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I bought my wife a new D2 in December. A month ago it suddenly no longer saw the memory card. Verizon replaced it with a USED D2 Global. I hate Verizon. The replacement immediately had low in call volume and only a power off would fix it. They then sent another USED D2 Global. I hate Verizon. The replacement D2 Global arrived and guess what....low in call volume. Went back to the store and they're sending yet another. Really? How much of their shipping costs and my time are they going to waste? I'll keep taking it back and maybe after 10 replacements they'll realize how much shipping costs they've wasted.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been searching high and low for what different international bands/frequencies the Razr Maxx and Droid 4 will really support. what bands these phones will actually work on when traveling internationally? Since they contain a 4G/LTE sim card, does that mean when you are in country with something less than VZW's 4G/LTE, will the phone drop down to a more universal band like HSPA (HSDPA, HSUPA and HSPA+) and/or GSM (GPRS, Edge, E-Edge) and/or UMTS/WCDMA. Just trying to understand what a 'Global Capable' phone really means when we talk about the Razr Maxx what it will do when traveling abroad.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought my phone about 3 months ago and a few days ago the notification light has stopped working. It doesn't work for Text messages or battery low, basically it "burned out." I've tried a data factory reset and still no go. I was thinking about warranty replacing the phone but I hate to do that for certain reasons. I know I don't have any applications that would make it not work, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhy won't my D3 play music via USB when connected to my car stereo? Even my old crappy Imagio did it. And my friends Droid X would work too...mine just says READING forever and never plays..
View 5 Replies View RelatedI believe, perhaps incorrectly, especially with unlimited data going away on launch day for this phone, that this is a ploy to force users into higher data usage by forcing them to stream the same content over verizons network. I would love to be proven wrong on this point, and see some official radio support from moto, but this is the only thing that makes sense to me. mu $.02.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the last update for my Droid X. Since then the FM radio app is gone. If i click on it, it says it is not installed. how to get it back without doing a factory reset?
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe hardware is in the phone, but Moto opts to not include an FM Radio app. Sure, they load it up with BLOATWARE, but fail to include this very usable app.I download an .apk file, and walla, I have the same radio that I had on my X. I reallize that some people may not find the need for an app like this, but I use it at my health club all the time. The TV's that are around the treadmills each broadcast a separate frequency should you wish to listen. In addition, God forbid we loose cell service, it is always nice to have a radio for emergency purposes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had this problem for as long as I have owned the phone (about a year). Sometimes ( not always or consistently) when I am done listening to radio I lose my volume controls. I exit the app and my volume controls on the side of the phone no longer work for some reason? I have tried to end the FM radio tasks with no success. The only way I have found to get my volume controls back is to power down the phone and reboot it. The phone has been factory reset, and it has been replaced and I still have the same issue.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAny streaming music on my Droidx quits after 1 or 2 songs. I've read that "always on mobile data" needs to be enabled and the way to do this is to go to Settings - Wireless & networks - Mobile Networks - check the enable box. However, on my phone, option is not there. When I go to Mobile Networks, all I see is System Select - Home Only or Automatic. Is "always on mobile data" actually the answer to avoiding streaming music to stop? If so, how do I set it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe phone and car radio will pair, but will not connect. Verizon says it is because of the 4G network. Volvo North America hasn't a clue. how gets these things to talk to each other? I really would like to be "hands-free" when I am driving.
View 3 Replies View RelatedICS update has changed something for the bad on my Droid Bionic!! I can't get music to stream to car radio using the radio controls (2012 Sorento). I had no problems with Gingerbread.......it worked just fine. I tried FDR and got a slight improvement in that the music would stream but I would have to start it with the phone. Tried re-pairing phone and car which didn't work. I have experienced the music stream stopping after 1song or several songs.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen will a software update for Satio? Or when will update Symbian ^ 1 to Symbian ^ 3? Satio great phone, but not disclosed all of his abilities. In addition to the Symbian ^ 3 there will be many new features such as widgets and advanced 3d games. Besides, Satio such a powerful processor that Symbian ^ 1 he simply has nothing to do, and he is "resting", but is it good? I paid so much money for not a simple dialer with the camera, but for a smartphone, which can be, and watch movies in avi format, listen to music in a format lossless, play in normal beautiful game. So much money spent. I was sorry that he took Satio, because he was on the platform of Symbian ^ 1.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy eyesight is not so good. The standard size of the text on an E71 is too small for me. I have to select "Zoom, 125%" for each mail I read. This is extremely irritating and there is no global switch. This IMHO is a serious design flaw. The software version is Build 9.7.0.2

View 13 Replies View RelatedI wish Sony Mobile would revert from their stance of not offering the global equalizer setting by default to all apps. Before Lollipop landed the Clear Audio + setting applied to all apps including YouTube, Walkman, Radio Tunes etc. However, after lollipop landed this setting has been moved to an exclusive setting that App developers have to specifically code for. This situation is not acceptable as if they enabled global support for the EQ then if one simply wishes to turn the EQ off they can do so in the sound settings. Now accept for a few music apps you have no option to use Sony Clear Audio + sound enhancements which is sad. The phones output volume is not that loud which makes this EQ settings important to give that extra punch in the music. To me this decision is a deal breaker as Samsung and Microsoft have the global EQ enabled. Sony's decision makes no sense to me and it ruins what would otherwise be the complete experience on the Z2.I am considering a Lumia currently but would like to stick with my Z2 if there is hope of resolving this issue soon.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Verizon Samsung S5 running Android 5.0, and use Microsoft Exchange Active Sync to synchronize my global address book, calendar, and email at my work.
Previously, I was able to find contacts in my global address book who were not contacts in my phone by just searching their name. If a contact was not a contact on my phone, the app would briefly say "searching on <domain>", before pulling up all contacts in my corporate address book that matched the search criteria
Now, I can only see contacts for whom I have a contact in Outlook, gmail etc versus everyone in my corporate library.
I AM able to see all contacts in my corporate library using an app called "Corporate Address Book", but this lacks many of the slick features (pictures, swipe to text) that "Contacts" has. This tells me that the problem isn't with the global address list itself, but rather with the app.
So far I have tried:
*Double-checking all of my sync settings in the account
*Double-checking that I am showing all contacts (for testing, I tried just showing contacts from my exchange account, that didn't work)
*Removing the exchange account, re-adding it
*Factory re-setting the phone
*Clearing all certificates, reloading them
Note that immediately after I factory reset my phone, the contact app briefly behaved as expected. However, while my phone was auto-downloading my apps, it quickly stopped again.
This leads me to believe that it may be caused by a particular combination of apps/settings on my phone versus a problem with Android 5/S5s in particular.
I have an iPhone 4 that I want to plug into my car so I can listen to my favorite online radio station. How do I do this? And is all I need is an A/C adapter? Please list all possibilitys.

Checked the forum and did not find any on this post! Ran my battery down to 4% and radio did not turn off. Has Rim done away with this feature? Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?
