found a BT that has been reliable and successful with streaming music from the Atrix? This is something that would be extremely helpful for me in the enviroment that I work in. I have to use a headset that I plug into the jack on the phone, but it can be clumbersome at times and annoying.

I live in New York city and I noticed when I get out of the tunnel and if I use the phone at the moment (read news on it or play games) it reboots. We don't have connection in subway, so pretty much every time I am out of the tunnel and find connection I get a reboot. It doesn't happen every time though, on some occasions it doesn't reboot.I thinl after last update it started happening more often, but I am not really sure about that since I noticed some occasional reboots before, but didn't put the getting out of tunnel and reboot together and after it happened several times I noticed.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy phone call volume is fine but media playback volume is WAY too loud! Even with the phone volume and headset volume at the lowest it's too loud. This has only been a problem since the Gingerbread update. I tried the H17 on another phone and it works fine. Definitely a post Gingerbread issue.Anyone else have issues with this model headset or any other since the update?

I've had the same headset paired to a Razr v3xx whereupon I was able to hear my various ringtones I had set for certain contacts so I could tell as to whether or not I needed to answer right away or not without having to look at my phone. I liked the fact that I was able to hear these tones in my headset as well as the phones speaker. Now don't even try to pass this off as the headsets' software, as I ever had changed anything until I paired with my new Atrix. my thoughts are that this is a softwarwe engineers code changes for this particular phone

View 5 Replies View RelatedHave a Atrix HD, about 6 months old. Today I went to make a call using a headset plugged into the headset jack, and nothing happened. The headset was not recgonized and all sound continued to come out the 'speaker'. (Either in "loud" speaker mode, or normal mode.) Tried another headset, same problem. Researched and went through the "check for debris and clean the jack" process with no improvement. Contacted Motorola support and they ended up offering to have it shipped to service center for repair/replace, but that means 7+ days without the phone. So I thought I'd check and see if anyone else has had such a problem.
Anyone else ever have headset jack "failure" like this on an Atrix unit? Oh, it also fails with a music player, or any other sound source, so it appears to be a general unit failure, not specific to any one app/function. I looked all over for some kind of setting to enable/disable the jack, but found nothing of use.
GPS cannot pinpoint my location. I ive tried checking and unchecking all location services to no avail. I downloaded a gps app and confirmed I. Am receiving. All satellites. Still when I open google maps my location is not accurate. If I try to use navigation phone freezes on searching for gps......I've done factory data reset as well.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a XOOM FE and am using Motoprint Host Service in an attempt to print to my Brother MFC-490CW. I'm running Vista 64bit on my PC, and the Host Service is running. However, Motoprint on my Xoom FE can't see my PC host. Is there something I need to configure on my PC? My PC is connected to my wireless router via wi-fi and my printer is USB cabled to the PC. As FYI, I can see my PC's shared folders from my laptop and can also see my Brother printer via the "Find Printer" function in Motoprint (but of course can't connect to it directly as it's not compatible with Motoprint). I can also print to the Brother printer via Brother's Android wi-fi app, but Motoprint can print more document types, so I'd really like to get it to work.

My "itunes library.itl" file is found here in Windows 7: %userprofile%My Musicitunes (if you put that into windows explorer it will bring me to the file, which is actually found in a non-standard location on a 2nd internal hard on my computer.
Would it be possible to change the sync program to look at relative URL's for "My Music" such as %userprofile%My Musicitunes instead of direct URL's like I'm guessing it is doing? this syncing tell me both the relative and direct URL for their ITL file?
Can the MotoActv stream music from the Android Phone? I was thinking about the device and wanted to know if can just stream music rather than having to load music on the device as that would be easier for me.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the Droid RAZR, and whenever i try to access a file from my computer with an app (gallery and music) motocast on my computer will remain idle.
When I try to play music the time to the left will blink, but on my computer motocast will say its idle. But it works when i go to mymotocast.com. It worked when i originally got the phone and installed motocast. I've even tried to resart both my phone and computer, and i can't think of anything else to try.
does anyone know how to diable to Twonkey app? That by far has to be the most annoying app of all time. If I click on a video to watch, that dosent mean that I want to automatically stream to my network and TV....that is rediculious! Little help, does anyone know how to disable or ot delete it? View 1 Replies View Relatedthe wifi on my X has become increasingly slow but only on the down stream connection. speed is about 500kbs where upstream is 5.5mbs. vie tested other devises on wifi and they all get in the 12-20mbs range, and prior to noticing this i had tested my x with 8-12mbs down. nothing has changed on the router since this has occurred. after struggling to try and fix it, i reset my droid to factory and it still its a wall at 500kbs. i used speed test for both the old numbers and new numbers. both the app and the website agree on speeds the device is getting over a wifi connection. after this i also tried changing the settings to an open network that did not advertise its ssid, this did not change the results. the tests that had the 8-12 range were done from july last year to december, i switched routers in october so i was testing frequently for awhile. both routers had roughly the same speed for the droid but were faster for 5ghz range N devices.I first noticed the slower speed in late january and started testing then router is a netgear wndr3700?

MOTOPRINT can indeed find it and show it on my Moto Bionic screen (thanks to the use of MOTOPRINT Host installed in my PC), but when I attempt to print any file or document (word, jpg, etc.) it reads: "This printer is incompatible with the currently selected document type." I've read enough to suspect that it may be that my printer is not PostScript. If that's the case, am I doomed to not be able to use MOTOPRINT to print from my beloved Bionic? or is there another App which can do the task? My printer is part of my home network inasmuch as it is connected, via its "parallel connection-turned-USB," to the back of my PC.

View 3 Replies View Relatedi have a xoom that i got today and am totally in love with it.... or was until an hour ago! i've tried to watch embedded videos (ranging from 8-35 minutes long) from multiple sources (my schools website, Internet.com, etc) and every single time it starts playing great and i can see the buffering indicator moving along until it gets about 1/3 complete and then it stops. suddenly the buffer indicator jumps to the end and the video plays until it reached the point in which it stopped earlier. at that point the video ends and gives me the "replay" option. i've factory data reset the device already, tried watching long videos through the Internet app (that works perfectly), and uninstalled and reinstalled adobe flash 10.3.

View 13 Replies View RelatedICS update has changed something for the bad on my Droid Bionic!! I can't get music to stream to car radio using the radio controls (2012 Sorento). I had no problems with Gingerbread.......it worked just fine. I tried FDR and got a slight improvement in that the music would stream but I would have to start it with the phone. Tried re-pairing phone and car which didn't work. I have experienced the music stream stopping after 1song or several songs.

I called verizon, they called motorola. Motorola said streaming is no longer supported on desktop mode with ICS. The crappy part is she could not report the problem, I was to explain my problem on this forum so the software poeaple could read this. I've got better things to do than registering for a forum so someone might read this and get streaming back. Not a happy camper with ICS.

I am a frequent listener to streaming audio, especially while out and about (driving around the local area, in the grocery store, etc.). Most of what I listen to is from twit.am (either via the TwitDroid app or sometimes StreamFurious Pro), but I also use several radio-oriented apps (such as iHeartRadio or uneIn Radio).
I've never been able to keep a stream going for more than 10 minutes without it dropping. I always thought it was due to sketchy 3G coverage here in the Hudson Valley but had no way of testing that theory until today, when I remembered that the Google CR48 that I am testing has built-in Verizon 3G. So, to test the DroidX hardware defect theory, I took the CR48 in the car with me today on 50 mile round trip from Hyde Park to Fishkill and back. I listened to twit.am the whole way and did not experience a single dropout!
Case closed, it seems to me.
Any thoughts on whether this issue is confined to the DroidX (e.g. are there other Moto android phones that don't have the issue)? What about other vendors like HTC or Samsung, do they suffer similar problems? I'm considering whether to stay with Moto when I am eligible for an upgrade this coming June. At this point I am inclined to jump ship because of this issue.
When I attempt to stream a video on my Razr Maxx from my home PC it freezes for a couple seconds every 5 seconds of playback. Is there something that needs to be changed to avoid this "buffering" issue.
