"Filename includes one or more invalid characters".....
Whenever I use the on-board photo editor on the Atrix, then try and save the file, I get the message "filename includes one or more invalid characters". There is no way to save the file. Even if you save as "photo" or "photo.jpg", nada.Not much on the Web about this.
By default, the Atrix uses the picture filename of "YYYY-MM-DD_hh-mm-ss_xxx.jpg" (example: "2011-08-01_09-16-12_123.jpg"). How can we change this to another filename mask, like "YYYY_MMDD_hhmmss xxx.jpg" (example: 2011_0801_091612 123.jpg) or any other format of our choosing?In addition, are there any other field masks that we can use beyond the YYY, MM and DD and time fields?

Here are symptoms as I've noticed them:
1) Wouldn't get audible notifications anymore. Now alerts, no alarms, no rintones,no nothing. Went to my ringtone/alert settings and did "TRY IT" to test a sound. The message I got was something about invalid filename. I got this msg even for sounds native to the bb device!
I did a battery pull, then all was good
2) Same issue kept re-occuring and also noticed my battery would be 75% full when I went to bed. Then like RED (5%) when I woke up. The device was also HOT! I battery pull again. Voila! (Until the next time it happens)
3) Press voicedial button. Then it says "scanning contacts, please wait" it gets to 100% and does nothing. Even after an hour.
Anyone know whatts going on? The only thing I changed during this time frame was the SD card (2GB to 8GB). So I switched back to the old card. Issues still exist. I even deleted soduku (buddy told me to try this) but it didn't help.
I'm using blackberry bold 9780. I'm trying to register for a new BlackBerry ID but I can't. I tried to register through pc but this message appears.... "Username is an invalid email format. Please provide a valid email address to continue. Screen Name contains invalid characters or text." I need those app in blackberry world.

Invalid Battery.Your device battery is invalid and cannot be charged.Replace the battery with an original Motorola battery."I have the original Motorola Atrix battery that it came with originally. Someone told me I could remove (rename) the downloaded update file, but I can't find anything that looks like it might be it. I'm using windows Explorer to view files on my int memory. Yesterday, my phone issued an alert that it had already downloaded the file, and now it wants me to install it.

Ditto for "unknown album". Same for "songs" with no name or no genre. MotoCast is, without asking me, including all sorts of sound effect and video clip and other mish-mash of media riff raff that it has tumbled upon in my document folders..It's nice that you want MotoCast to be an all'round helpful product, but the document functions need to be separated from the music and the pictures, and each of those should be separated from the documents.

a couple months ago i finally decided i needed to get a new phone becase it seemed the camera on my old w810i was starting to out - it wouldnt focus very well and the camera button wouldn't snap a picture too reliably anymore. I figured it was probably because i had taken thousands and thousands of images over the time i had the phone since 2006 - i think the last image i took with the 810i was named something like 'dsc06912'. I'm in the US and att is my provider, so i 'upgraded' to an iphone4 but returned it after a couple of weeks primarily because i learned i really like a dedicated camera button. So I switched to the SE Vivaz with no iphone restock fee - nice. I really liked the vivaz hardware size and camera but that symbian os just didn't cut it, especially after using the iphone and the wifi internet experience was pathetic...so after i couple more weeks turned the vivaz in for this xperia x10 - with a restock fee tho.
one of the things thats bugging me about this x10 is that the image filenames keep getting reset each time i download and erase the image files from the phone microsd memory card. in the w810i, even when i did this the filenames still incremented correctly when i took more pictures, thus I new that 'dsc06912' was the 6,912 picture i had taken. with this x10, it starts over at 'dsc_0001' everytime i start taking pictures after downloading the previous batch of images to my computer. (Even the Vivaz continued to increment correctly after i downloaded the images - i guess thats one good thing the nokia folks got right since i believe the w810i used symbian like the vivaz.)i have looked and looked through all the places i can in the x10 android 1.6 os and can find no where to make the filenumbering not re-set.
When trying to sync my new phone to my car's SYNC, I have somehow lost all my contacts. I have the phone backed up in iCloud and need to know which restore option to use. The "Erase all Content and Settings" or "Reset all Settings". I do not have my contacts backed up to Outlook or anything because I thought iCloud was enough.

1. Taken the battery off and put back on and re-booted.
2. Tried to update the software again by connecting to my laptop.
3. Taken the battery off, then put battery back on, when red light turned off, I pressed the escape button to possible start in safe mode. didn't work.

I'd like to cut to the chase and ask: how can I natively insert accented characters (á,à ,ç,ê and so on) while using the bluetooth keyboard? I've managed to do that by using the Swifkey X for tablets, which predicts words and inserts them automatically. However, it is nothing but a coincidence.

On the keyboard, if you hover ever so slightly too long over the "s" or the "e" or any number of letters on the keyboard the xoom changes that to a special character.
