I have one song that is listed for 9 miles, and I have only run 15 miles with the device so far, but for some reason, one song is showing as being played for almost 9 miles, and I don't think that i have even listened to it for a run.
View 10 RepliesI just bought a motoactv and trying to register and get everything started has been very frustrating...right now I'm trying to access my portal but it tells me I have invalid credentials even though I've reset my password several times and registered my motoactv (I think...as I've had problem accessing the internet from the system as well it appears) I really want to like this product but if trying to acess all my data is this frustrating I'm not sure I will be able to keep it.

View 8 Replies View RelatedOn my Motoactv golf I cannot initiate the Detailed Shot Tracking or even the Fast Play option from the Play Mode screen. It stays on Simple Shot Tracking no matter how many times I push detailed. I have tried to do a factory reset as well as checked my software version (1.7.10 N16)

It appears to only show the shot distance if I am marking shot locations, and then I don't see the information anywhere after (including on the online portal, where it isn't listed on the map with the other information like club selection, which seems odd). I would expect the device to track and store shot distances, and also calculate averages.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI did a Bike "workout" 6 weeks ago and after syncing, it had the route information on the MotoActv App. However, my latest two workouts show "Route Information Is Not Available for this Workout". I'm pretty sure I can see the routes on the website, but it's not loading any of my workouts at the moment. It would also be awesome if you could sync the golf "workouts" and show them on the MotoActv App as well; I imagine that has been in the works though.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI noticed today an error on the portal when viewing Intervals. I was follwing a Carmichael run and so I tap the screen to start my first interval after I have warmend up.The portal is correctly showing my 4 High, and 4 Low intervals, and the duration is correct. What isn't correct is when I click on the first interval, it's starting from the time I started the run. Not from the time the interval started. Therefore, when viewing the graph info for that intevarl, it's looking at the wrong section of the graph.Basically, the portal needs to know what time into your workout the first interval started and use that as the offset for displaying the interval data on the graph.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhy does one need to input a tire size for cycling if the GPS should track speed and distance? I owned a Garmin 205 and did not have a sensor. I only used the GPS and was able to track speed and distance very accurately. I tested the MOTOACTV in a car for 3.5 miles. For some reason the GPS was not tracking any information except the track, which was correct. Instead of 3.5 miles, it showed 0.51 miles. Will this also happen on the bike?

I saw the post that says it is compatible with Garmin accessories.I have a Garmin Chest Strap monitor that pairs with the device fine.However when i start a work out it connects and does NOT show any heart rate info.I have verified that the monitor works with Garmin 305 GPS/ Monitor.I tried changing the Batteries.Or do I have a faulty unit? I noticed someone paired a new garmin premium strap.Maybe older monitors don't show data even though they pair up with the MOTOACTV?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI was checking the portal today and noticed that the schedule section at the top of the page displays incorrect workout info - see screenshot attached.
I am sure that I have not exercised today (it is Sunday, duh) ... yet the schedule shows that I had an exercise today (see red dot on the schedule). So I checked the device and verified that there was no exercise today on the device. And when I clicked to check details on the portal, I saw last week's exercise data.
Is it possible to seek a music track by dragging/tapping the track progress bar. Or am I stuff with having ot hold the fast forward/rewind button like some kind of 1980's walkman. This lumia 820 gets worse and worse with every passing minute.
View 7 Replies View RelatedOther Android phones are able to display track info "Artist, Song" on my car's stereo. The S6 connects but doesn't display any track info, even when using the same apps and mp3s as before. It will accept music controls (skip track, volume).
How to go about troubleshooting this? Or is there a secret setting to make sure track data is displayed? I don't know where to start. AFAIK 4.3 added AVRCP support, so in theory 5.0 should have it too.
So far I've cleared all and re-added only the S6 to the car stereo. Skimmed the bluetooth log in /Android/data Checked the files in /etc/bluetooth
I've got a brilliant N900 and an N9, I use the N900 for music and the N9 for calls. I bought the BH-221 to use both at the same time, I read it could be connected at two devices at the same time [URL]I can't get it to work... When I press the call button for a second it turns off... Also, on neither the N9 nor the N900 track info shows up.

The only problem is the track information is being 'sent' to the car. It actually displays 'No track information'...
Is there a way that the music on/off button could be used to advance to the next song (in a future update of course)? I run to the music beat and sometimes want to speed up/sloww down the music selection without stopping to advance the music. Just a thought
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I go to the music player and select a song to play, I get a message that tells me to plug in my headphones. The issue is that my headphones are plugged in. I didn't have this issue a week ago. I was listening to my music just fine. I have rebooted the device several times already. The weird thing is that I can hear the boot up sounds through my headphones, as well as notifications. I just can't play music. I have the same issue with the FM radio.
View 15 Replies View RelatedSo they finally added the ability to share info about the current song you're listening to with friends, however when it comes up with the content of what to send it says "Me recommends <song name> by <artist name>", and continues on with the link to info, etc. Where is it picking up the "Me"? Obviously I have to tell the system who I am somewhere, but haven't found any option inside the Music player nor in the Contacts to specify one of them as my own contact.

I selected which playlists I want to sync to the devive but it has still taken in a ton of additional music that I don't want. I do not want podasts on the device. I do not want anything other than the playlists I choose. How do I fix this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy new vehicle has a USB port that I can hook the Motoactv to. The system plays the BonusTracks playlist rather than the playlist that contains all of my downloaded songs. The same thing happens when I use the USB with my laptop. How can I change the system to use a playlist other than Bonus Tracks? Or how can I move all my music to the Bonus Tracks folder?
View 5 Replies View RelatedFor the last few weeks whenever I go out for a run my music pauses on it's own. I then "un-pause" it and have to turn the volume back up and carry on. In some cases I cannot get the music to resume at all and I have to restart the moto. I have also found that if I start my music before I press start for the workout the music will pause when I press start. Initially it has been doing this under 10 times per 2 hour run. This morning it paused, without exageration, nearly 100 times. Needless to say I was cussing like a sailor for the duration of my run.

View 6 Replies View RelatedJust bought the 16g Motoactv and went to use it for the first time yesterday and couldn't get any music to play. I hear the notifications saying "workout started" ect and the FM radio works fine, but any music i synced or even the "bonus" music that came with the device will not play. there is a play symbol showing up on the top of the screen but no music plays and when i go to the progress bar it reads 0:00 and does not move... any suggestions, this is driving me crazy seeing how i have not even gotten to enjoy this device once yet!!
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo this morning I was getting ready to go for my morning run and for some reason I could not get any of my songs to start playing. I switched out the headphones and still no luck. The weird part was I could hear the "beeps" when I changed the volume of the audio to higher or lower, but the music would just fail to play. I did try other songs and even the ones that came with the device. None worked.
I shoud note, I took the device on a long 18.5 mile run Saturday, the music played fine.. But it might of gotten a bit sweaty?
Is it possible to remove music from the "My Performance Music" list? I have removed certain songs from my MOTOACTV, and don't care to have them listed any more.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had this iPhone for almost a year now and now more than once it's has messed up on me.I go to try and download a free app but it then asks me for my billing information. Everything on there is correct and has not changed in over a year.Everytime I submit it a message says "security code invalid" but it is in fact correct... I've tried calling apple and they were no help... I know many ppl have this problem I have money in my card the number and info has not been changed I just don't have answers anymore.I tried to see with wifi and it doesn't matter it still asks me for my billing info trying to download or update anything...

Since the 2nd last firmware update my music will either not start or it will stop after 4 seconds of playing. This isn't my own music but the music that came with the device. I then try everything to get sound. I see the song playing I press play and pause and nothing.I reboot and everying is ok. Sometime rebooting does not work.
