does anyone else have this problem? i would be watching a Internet video and the wifi would just stop working, i would have to go into settings turn it off then on again and once it just turned it self off
View 15 RepliesHer phone was perfect before doing the updates. Now, she claims the BT just turns off and won't turn back on (in the car, connected to the car audio system). I looked at her phone the other day and sure enough, BT and WIFI were both OFF, and when I tried to turn them on, it said something like "Sorry, can't to that right now. Try again later.". Turned off phone and turned back on, and it's fine...for a while, then does the same thing.
View 18 Replies View RelatedI synced all songs in my iTunes with my new Motorola Atrix 2. It downloaded all the songs to my 16gb microsd card. When I play songs on my music player with my headphones, the music will stop randomly. Some other times it won't stop and will play for a long time. I had a feeling it was somehow related to turning the screen off using the power button after I start my playlist but I am not sure about it. Again with this case, sometimes it stops and other times it would play correct. There are some apps as on my auto-end list but music player isn't one of them
View 4 Replies View RelatedLast night both my Twitter & Myspace accounts that are linked to my Motoblur account stopped working. I would constantly get an account error icon in my notification bar. I changed to passwords on both accounts, I made sure email and passwords were correct a million times lol
Nothing worked with Twitter or Myspace..SO I removed both accounts from my Motoblur account, re-added my Twitter account (which is now working fine) BUT my MySpace account is still not working.
I have removed it, changed the password, then tried to re-add it just like my Twitter account problem. It still won't work! IDK what is wrong, I have even tried without WIFI on
I get this error message from MotoBlur Account Management Screen when trying to add my MySpace account "Your entry is invalid, please try again"
Now I know this is false, can someone else tell me either how to fix this or is this a problem right now with MySpace?
i have had my Atrix since Nov. havent had any issues with it, until last week when suddenly the radio would stop working. it says i have signal, but i recieve nothing nor am i am able to send anything (text, email, calls, etc) but i have signal. i havent downloaded any bad apps. i also have Norton to "protect" me against bad apps. is there anything that i can do? i have no warranty anymore so will rooting my phone help? also im patiently waiting for ICS but growing more impatient by the day. wish they would give us a little update.

After I reboot my phone the fingerprint sensors works fine, but after few hours it would randomly stop working. And so I erased all the data on my phone (Factory Data Reset). It did the same thing. What should I do? I bought my phone on march. So I can not really exchange it?

View 4 Replies View RelatedTwice in the past week I got my phone out and it was off and unresponsive. I had to do soft boot with power volume down to get the phone working. This is something that I have not experienced with other android phones. I am on Verizon with stock Galaxy S6 running 5.0.2.
Is this a defective phone or some application causing problems. What steps can I take to troubleshoot the problem. Having my phone randomly stop working is unacceptable as this is my primary line. I can't afford to miss calls.
However, one day after the update my wifi would not work and continued to give me "ERROR" under the on/off option. Also, my bluetooth tries to turn on, but won't.

It doesn't seem to be triggered by anything specific I do with the phone. I'll just look over at my phone because it lights up and sure enough, it's restarting. It does it when I'm using it and when I'm not.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo i uninstalled the few apps ive downloaded since the 2.3.4 update and still my phone randomly shuts off and sometimes it freezes. Ill go to make a call or scroll through the screens and for no reason the screen turns black and the only thing that i can do is pull down the notification bar... i have to turn it off and back on for it to work again. My husband has the same phone and his does the same thing since the update so i dont think its a app.

What happens is, for whatever reason WIFI just randomly stops working. It'll show she is connected(both in the Icon at the top where you swipe and under settings/wifi) yet it doesn't actually load anything.
She'll be searching on Bing, Facebook, etc etc and she'll get the loading dots at the top of her screen that'll run endlessly. I have to then go into her settings and turn off wifi and then back on and it'll start working but then eventually it does it again shortly where there is no data or whatever.
Anyone have any problems with there Atrix just randomly shutting down and restarting? It's happend 2 times so far once while I was in the middle of a call and another while useing the browser.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I create an appointment (am using the stock calendar on my Atrix), about 20% of the time it decides to use the Mountain Standard time zone instead of the Centrral Standard time zone that I am in. The time zone is set to Central in both the settings for the phone and the settings for the calendar. Anyone else seeing this problem?
Am running the latest updates and have relatively few apps installed as my phone is used for business instead of personal and fun. Also, am running on an Exchange Server, but since the calendar is setting the time zone for the appointment incorrectly (I check the time zone before even saving the appointment), it's not a prolem with the Exchange Server or with sync.
I just got my Atrix today and apparantly was just dumb enough to upload a contacts CSV file exported from MS Outlook to my Motoblur account. It synced with my new phone and made lots of multiple entries, etc. what a mess! Now I'm reading that I can synch a number of other ways including using Windows Mobile Device Center to sync with my Outlook contacts. Now how do I stop Motoblur from synching/updating contacts and clear the phone contacts so I can sync another way?

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, walking to my car this morning, my Atrix began to play an audiobook file (MP3). One that I had listened to days ago.
After months of using the phone and happily listening to audio books this issue has just occured this morning.
I swiped open the phone only to find that the (stock) music player was not actually running. Have not been able to find a way to stop the file(s) from playing.
Observations:
1. rebooting the phone simply restarts the playback of the file from its begining.
2. When the phone is sleeping (screen black), I have no control of the volume (as I would using media player)
3. If I swipe the phone to vibrate or silent, the playback goes silent (though I believe it continues playing)
4. I don't believe I have any ther media players installed.
5. Attempting to play a file in the (stock) music player, results in the file trying to play (the slider moves left to right), but only the audiobook is audible.
6. Have tried cycling power, removing battery, and ManageApps->clearing cache, and even uninstalling a number of downloaded apps - nothing helps.
7. I don't believe my phone vibrates any longer when I receive a notification for incoming text or email.
Having a few difficulties turning some of the annoying sounds off, even though I appear to have found the check box to delete the sounds.1. When the phone isn't in silent mode, how can I stop the typing sound whenever I'm entering text into an email or SMS?I've tried Home Page > Settings > Sound > and unchecked 'Audible touch tones'.Still makes the typing sound.2. Camera - can't stop the camera shutter sound in either silent or sound on mode.Have tried Home Page > Camera > Settings > and unchecked the 'Capture Tone' box. Still makes the shutter sound when taking a photo though.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIt seems that the messaging widget rarely/randomly displays new text messages. This is after updating to build 4.5.91 through the SOAK testing. Is anybody else having these issues? It shows my corporate sync messages immediately and with no issues, but the SMS usually lag behind by a few minutes or never display in the widget at all.
