So randomly I'll be using my phone, and then all vibrations won't work. Haptic Feedback doesn't work, not even the vibration alert for texts. Sometimes when I make it sleep it fixes it, but this only happened within the last day or two.

View 10 Replies View RelatedThis appears to be a common problem with no resolution (having just done various Google searches). On 2.3.4 with Orange. Always vibrate ticked with sound off I dont get any vibration for incoming SMS. I've tried various combinations a nd can't seem to resolve it. The vibrate option in messaging is also turned on. I think it used to work but can't be sure.
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy phone froze on me at the gim yesterday.I was listening to music over blue tooth, receiveing and sending mails, and using Jefit Pro.I was registering a set, when a mail came in and my phone froze!But it was still vibrating from the mail so it was still shaking in my hand.None of the buttons worked, nor a long press on the power button. I ended up doing a battery reset.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am not sure if Moto is aware of the bug introduced in .173. Ever since the OTA a few months back the orientation/rotation sensor randomly stops working. I haven't been able to track it down to any particular app, but instead have a feeling that it's caused by any app that forces a horizontal orientation. I don't want to limit it to just that though, but basically after this bug is triggered, tilting the phone manually into horizontal orientation doesn't rotate the screen and any games/apps that use the tilt sensor stop responding to it completely. I launched Elixir tools while this issue was occurring and in the Sensor section of the app the two sensors that deal with orientation, the orientation and the rotation vector sensors are jumping all over the place. A reboot fixes this for a few days or possibly until i launch an app that triggers this bug and then it's the same thing all over again.

View 6 Replies View RelatedOn my Atrix 4G with Motoblur, purchased several months ago, I was able to set up the syncing with my Google calendar. It worked well until about 2 months ago, when the automatic synching just stopped. I WAS able to manually synch, so decided to drop the matter. After several weeks the automatic synching just returned.
Now all calendar synching -- manual as well as automatic -- has stopped for several days. I did the recommended power-off, remove battery, remove SIM card, etc., routine. No effect.
A synched calendar was the number one reason I upgraded to a newer phone model when I purchased the Atrix 4G. I have one Google calendar and one phone. All I want to do is to be able to synch them. Nothing complicated. Is this just a flaw in the Atrix?
I have motorola atrix with motoblur and no matter what music player app i install on it, they all exit silently after certain time, usually less than 2 mins. it happens always and it frustrates me. i earlier thought that only default music player is profanity removed-- but it turns every player has this issue.Will at&t replace this phone?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have now tried three separate music players (ATT Music Player, Google Music and Winamp. All three have a common problem. I begin playing music, and then after a minute or so, the music stops.I've tried several fixes over the last couple of weeks to rectify the issue including:
-Music players are not on the "Auto-End List."
-I've taken programs that seem to be associated with playing music off the "Auto-End List"
-Phone battery savings setting: Performance Mode
-Screen timeout is set at 1 minute. (I know that this should not affect the music player.)The only time that this doesn't happen is when I set the screen timeout to never. So when it is set to timeout, or when I turn the phone off via the power button, the music plays for a minute or so and then stops.
New to the forum. I've had an Atrix since April and love it. Looking forward to the 2.3.4 upgrade. I'm having an issue when connected via bluetooth to my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I frequently get a "Voice Command Application has stopped unexpectedly" error. I then have to force close. Typically it's impossible to make or receive calls while connected. Other times everything works fine.I never had this error when I was connected via bluetooth to my previous car.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI still have not been able to stop the Atrix music player from stopping after 4 minutes when the screen timeout is set for 2 minutes. Strangest thing. The screen shuts off after 2 minutes as it should but the music keeps playing for exactly 2 more minutes then stops. When the screen is set to never time out, there is no problem, (except unnecessarily buring out the screen and the battery, of course.) The auto-end list in the stock task manager has Music, Gellery, Files and Purchased Media set to NOT shut off. I have read that there are other apps that should be on this list, like News and Weather
View 4 Replies View RelatedI factory reset my phone and during the process of signing in, agreeing to T&C's etc, a strange problem started occurring - the touchscreen became super unresponsive (had to press something three of five times for it to respond), however, at the same time, the phone would quickly vibrate on touch multiple times, but again, not actually do anything. Moreover, a weird blue text box started appearing around the options I touched and I can't swipe down to access the normal settings menu.
And to top it all off, if I long hold the power button to force restart/power off, it just won't do it. (tried the old "turn it off and on" trick to see it'll do the trick)
Everything was all normal until this point, had my phone for a couple of months, haven't dropped it or anything.
I am sick of having to remove my battery to unlock my phone! I DO have apparently, but after reading other posts I removed and reinstalled only the ones that were well known, high rated...(ie Medscape, webMD...) My interest in this type of phone us to gave easy access to info and if apps are going

It doesn't seem to be triggered by anything specific I do with the phone. I'll just look over at my phone because it lights up and sure enough, it's restarting. It does it when I'm using it and when I'm not.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo i uninstalled the few apps ive downloaded since the 2.3.4 update and still my phone randomly shuts off and sometimes it freezes. Ill go to make a call or scroll through the screens and for no reason the screen turns black and the only thing that i can do is pull down the notification bar... i have to turn it off and back on for it to work again. My husband has the same phone and his does the same thing since the update so i dont think its a app.

View 5 Replies View RelatedClean boot (restart), the proximity sensor works fine (when on call it turns screen off, when moved away from face screen on). As soon as I make or receive call via bluetooth (Motorola brand btw.) The proximity sensor stops working. When on call it will not turn the screen off... Rebooting the phone will fix until a call is made/received via bluetooth. This was confirmed with other Moto phones (Photon...) as well as different bluetooth devices.

View 15 Replies View RelatedLast night both my Twitter & Myspace accounts that are linked to my Motoblur account stopped working. I would constantly get an account error icon in my notification bar. I changed to passwords on both accounts, I made sure email and passwords were correct a million times lol
Nothing worked with Twitter or Myspace..SO I removed both accounts from my Motoblur account, re-added my Twitter account (which is now working fine) BUT my MySpace account is still not working.
I have removed it, changed the password, then tried to re-add it just like my Twitter account problem. It still won't work! IDK what is wrong, I have even tried without WIFI on
I get this error message from MotoBlur Account Management Screen when trying to add my MySpace account "Your entry is invalid, please try again"
Now I know this is false, can someone else tell me either how to fix this or is this a problem right now with MySpace?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I create an appointment (am using the stock calendar on my Atrix), about 20% of the time it decides to use the Mountain Standard time zone instead of the Centrral Standard time zone that I am in. The time zone is set to Central in both the settings for the phone and the settings for the calendar. Anyone else seeing this problem?
Am running the latest updates and have relatively few apps installed as my phone is used for business instead of personal and fun. Also, am running on an Exchange Server, but since the calendar is setting the time zone for the appointment incorrectly (I check the time zone before even saving the appointment), it's not a prolem with the Exchange Server or with sync.
I synced all songs in my iTunes with my new Motorola Atrix 2. It downloaded all the songs to my 16gb microsd card. When I play songs on my music player with my headphones, the music will stop randomly. Some other times it won't stop and will play for a long time. I had a feeling it was somehow related to turning the screen off using the power button after I start my playlist but I am not sure about it. Again with this case, sometimes it stops and other times it would play correct. There are some apps as on my auto-end list but music player isn't one of them
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt seems that the messaging widget rarely/randomly displays new text messages. This is after updating to build 4.5.91 through the SOAK testing. Is anybody else having these issues? It shows my corporate sync messages immediately and with no issues, but the SMS usually lag behind by a few minutes or never display in the widget at all.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have Corporate Sync set up with my company Exchange server for contacts only. Worked fine initially, but has been on and off again last few weeks. It is randomly not showing the Exchange contacts. At times they are all there, other times not. I'm not positive, but I think this issue started after the 1.57 upgrade. Incredibly frustrating when you're out and need to make a call and the contact isn't there.....If I update my credentials for the account, it shows "Updating service" and seems to finish fine - Not getting any password or connection errors.

I had to rebuild my media library to get rid of some "ghost " image thumbnails in the gallery. I deleted all data associated with Media Storage and rebooted.
This totally hosed up my Ring/Notification tones. Why should a rebuild of the media library make a difference?
