fetch schedule set to manualunder accounts and my google account, i have data and sync unchecked for everythingwhy am i still getting email pushed or pulled to the phone?the notification is always the messaging icon, so i don't think it's gmail doing it.

Then it start working fine. idecide ibetter hook up my phone[usb] to my laptop. To tranfer the pics n files over to the lap top it said that media link was not working so i try to repair it threw my control panel> program/freature> motorola Media Link Repair which it didnt work. so i unstalll it. rebooted my visa. restall it and it still not working now . It say that the Motorola helper is updated . it work for me3week ago.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to 2.3.4 my battery is drained from 100% to about 5% in about 3 hours. I noticed that data is constantly being sent and received. It seems if I change my emaill devlivery option on corporate sync email accounts from push to a periodic time, things gets much better. If I delete all but 1 coorporate sync email account battery life also returns to something tolerable. I am not receiving a lot of emails (less than 20 emails messages during the time). It seems as though multiple corporate sync emails accounts was broken in Gingerbread in a way that push email is not practical as battery is consumed and data is rate is too high. Without receiving any email had exchanged a few MB of data in less than an hour. Having single corporate sync account alleviate the data load and extended the battery life back to normal.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI own a Bold 9930.I've noticed that my device doesn't completely sync with Yahoo email.If I read an email on my device, it is marked as read on Yahoo.However, if I read the email on Yahoo, it doesn't sync with the device - the device copy of the email is never marked as read.I used to have full 2-way sync.I contacted Yahoo, and was advised by Yahoo support that 2-way email sync between my device and Yahoo is not possible.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my Atrix today and apparantly was just dumb enough to upload a contacts CSV file exported from MS Outlook to my Motoblur account. It synced with my new phone and made lots of multiple entries, etc. what a mess! Now I'm reading that I can synch a number of other ways including using Windows Mobile Device Center to sync with my Outlook contacts. Now how do I stop Motoblur from synching/updating contacts and clear the phone contacts so I can sync another way?
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, walking to my car this morning, my Atrix began to play an audiobook file (MP3). One that I had listened to days ago.
After months of using the phone and happily listening to audio books this issue has just occured this morning.
I swiped open the phone only to find that the (stock) music player was not actually running. Have not been able to find a way to stop the file(s) from playing.
Observations:
1. rebooting the phone simply restarts the playback of the file from its begining.
2. When the phone is sleeping (screen black), I have no control of the volume (as I would using media player)
3. If I swipe the phone to vibrate or silent, the playback goes silent (though I believe it continues playing)
4. I don't believe I have any ther media players installed.
5. Attempting to play a file in the (stock) music player, results in the file trying to play (the slider moves left to right), but only the audiobook is audible.
6. Have tried cycling power, removing battery, and ManageApps->clearing cache, and even uninstalling a number of downloaded apps - nothing helps.
7. I don't believe my phone vibrates any longer when I receive a notification for incoming text or email.
Having a few difficulties turning some of the annoying sounds off, even though I appear to have found the check box to delete the sounds.1. When the phone isn't in silent mode, how can I stop the typing sound whenever I'm entering text into an email or SMS?I've tried Home Page > Settings > Sound > and unchecked 'Audible touch tones'.Still makes the typing sound.2. Camera - can't stop the camera shutter sound in either silent or sound on mode.Have tried Home Page > Camera > Settings > and unchecked the 'Capture Tone' box. Still makes the shutter sound when taking a photo though.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOn my previous phone (HTC One X) I could choose to not sync particular folders (like spam) to my phone, but on my LG G4 it syncs all spam (or other folder contents) directly to my inbox, meaning I get a regular stream of notifications about junk all day every day - it's beyond irritating now. When I go into mail settings and select "show all folders" there is no spam folder or any of my other Yahoo or Gmail folders, so all mail, including spam comes straight to my inbox. How do I set the default email app to properly show ALL folders and set syncing so I don't get spam synced to my phone?
I'm hoping I've just overlooked something simple and my upgrade hasn't meant a reduction in simple functions! If there's no way to do it in the default app? This seems such a ridiculously basic function to omit.
i have had my Atrix since Nov. havent had any issues with it, until last week when suddenly the radio would stop working. it says i have signal, but i recieve nothing nor am i am able to send anything (text, email, calls, etc) but i have signal. i havent downloaded any bad apps. i also have Norton to "protect" me against bad apps. is there anything that i can do? i have no warranty anymore so will rooting my phone help? also im patiently waiting for ICS but growing more impatient by the day. wish they would give us a little update.

It isn't even monthly. It's just occasional.So how can I stop the Motohelper software from loading every time I start my computer? Is there a way to just start it when I need it? Turn it off when I don't need it?

After I reboot my phone the fingerprint sensors works fine, but after few hours it would randomly stop working. And so I erased all the data on my phone (Factory Data Reset). It did the same thing. View 2 Replies View RelatedI synced all songs in my iTunes with my new Motorola Atrix 2. It downloaded all the songs to my 16gb microsd card. When I play songs on my music player with my headphones, the music will stop randomly. Some other times it won't stop and will play for a long time. I had a feeling it was somehow related to turning the screen off using the power button after I start my playlist but I am not sure about it. Again with this case, sometimes it stops and other times it would play correct. There are some apps as on my auto-end list but music player isn't one of them

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just figured out how to use my mac to sync to my MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G. in itunes i made about 20 playlists since i have more music than space available, then i used the motoblur software to sync, only about 6 playlists went over but it says 4.6 gigabytes transferred and i had 10gb available so that doesn't explain where the rest of the music is, the error that pops up says only 12 songs won't transfer due to their file types....so why doesn't it all transfer?...furthermore not all songs are available for instance 1 artist had a few albums in the playlist but only 6 songs are there for that particular artist, some of these are not iTunes downloaded files either, they are mp3 not mp4 for instance...so it's a mixed bag of files from different sources so i can't peg it that for instance only iTunes purchased music works vs. music i converted from cd's eons ago.
