i have Atrix 4g phone, how do i open my notes from SD card?i had a problem with my phone i end up doing a factory resest. before i did i could tranfer someof my files to my sd card and to my pc. i restall the program that i did the notes in "Note Everything" how can i get the notes from sd card to read in Note everything. the note are PWI format. i what program can instal on my pc to read them . i donot have microsoft word.
also when i start my phone after the factory reset i still see the market place icon, n i when i open it on the phone it is still look like the market set up and it still about 23 hours later too? is this normal
I just bought a new RAZR XT910 and I'm starting to get a really uneasy feeling that I'm not going to be able to sync it with my Outlook calendaring and scheduling like I used to do with my old Nokia E63.
I was working under the assumption that there would be hundreds of apps on the new Android phones that would be able to do simple things like this? so far I haven't really found anything?
I found Motorola PC Suite 5.1 but I haven't downloaded and tried it yet ... has anyone used this software or can anyone advise some other application that will sync Calendering, scheduling, contacts etc with Outlook and with Lotus Notes?
I need to sync outlook for work , but I'd also like to sync with Lotus Notes at home if possible (far superior to Outlook)
By the way, synchronising with google or having a gmail account is NOT an option, I do not trust these people and besides, I don't need another email account, I already have one at work and one at home.
Other android devices have the ability to synch with picassa to view their online albums am I missing something or is this a big whoops not included on Moto's part.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just figured out how to use my mac to sync to my MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G. in itunes i made about 20 playlists since i have more music than space available, then i used the motoblur software to sync, only about 6 playlists went over but it says 4.6 gigabytes transferred and i had 10gb available so that doesn't explain where the rest of the music is, the error that pops up says only 12 songs won't transfer due to their file types....so why doesn't it all transfer?...furthermore not all songs are available for instance 1 artist had a few albums in the playlist but only 6 songs are there for that particular artist, some of these are not iTunes downloaded files either, they are mp3 not mp4 for instance...so it's a mixed bag of files from different sources so i can't peg it that for instance only iTunes purchased music works vs. music i converted from cd's eons ago.

When I got home I added my Facebook account and the app sync'ed my facebook friends to my contacts. View 8 Replies View RelatedI am having the following significant corporate sync issues with Contacts and Calendar after upgrading my Atrix to Gingerbread 2.3.4. 4.5.91.MB860.ATT.en, Calendar events entered on Atrix do not show up on Outlook (exchange server) through corporate sync. Events entered on Outlook do show up on Atrix. Events originally entered in Outlook and then modified on Atrix disappear in Outlook although they remain on Atrix. When I add a picture to a contact on the Atrix the "file as" disappears in Outlook. When I add the "file as" back to the contact in Outlook the picture disappears from the contact on the Atrix. This is very annoying as I rely on the pictures associated with the contacts for phone, emails and messaging. In addition this makes it difficult to find my contacts in Outlook.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy to an Atrix 2. All my contacts are stored on my corporate exchange server. I had no trouble setting up my Atrix 2 for corporate sync, and all my e-mails, calendar appointments, and contacts came down to my phone quickly.
However, none of my contacts have pictures. I have searched the forums and found an article telling me to go to the accounts menu to select which account pictures should come from, but there is no such menu on my phone.
What do I need to do to get contact pictures on my phone ? I administer the phones for my corporation, and this is the only smart phone I have ever encountered that did not show contact pictures (Samsung, HTC, Iphone, etc, etc).
I've had the phone for around two weeks and so far about every few days I get the "unable to connect" notification regarding my corporate sync account through Motoblur. The latest incident was this morning. When I woke up I noticed that I didn't have the indicator light blinking on the outside of the phone when I know that I should've received e-mails throughout the night. When I went to go check it, I got the spinning circle for a minute or two and then "unable to connect" or whatever the connection error says. In this instance I was connected to my wireless network at home and my web browser was moving along very quickly so I know it wasn't the means to connect to my mail server that was the problem. Simply shutting off my phone and restarting fixed the connection issue this morning. The time before that, I received the error and then left the phone on my desk for about 20 minutes and it reconnected itself.
