View 13 RepliesI recieved my 9650 this morning.I setup 2 email addresses (that actually were moved from my curve to my bold), and all of my emails are dumping into ONE folder i hate it. I liked on my curve how I had 2 distinct seperate email icons (boxes) that had work and personal.How do I setup my phone to have multiple icons for my multiple email accounts?

I am trying to set up multiple email accounts with BIS on my Curve 9360. My existing email accounts were initially copied from a previos Blackberry (Bold 9000), but when I attempt to add an additional one, the only option I get is "Create a new email address' (the Blackberry one).
My service provider confirms to me that this is not due to them.The problem was there with OS7.0 and remains with 7.1.
I have 2 corporate sync accounts setup on my defy+ - but cannot work out how to view them both
Currently I have to go into settings and set one or the other as default to see the emails Or Wait for an email to come in, and go into it from the notifications. I used to have a Samsung Galaxy (Android 2.2), as that had an option for 'combined inbox'
I upgraded my Blackberry Torch earlier today (13:51hrs) only to find that all my email accounts have stopped working. They will not verify even though he account passwords I am using are correct, and the mobile will not let me delete or add any new ones. is my only option to completely factory default and start from scratch as i can not find a way to remove the "dodgy code" from my now useless

Now when I start the email setup, I get to the choice of internet email or enterprise account, and when I select internet email, nothing happens. I saw a suggestion to try a battery pull, but that did not work either.
View 9 Replies View RelatedIts been a while since I purchased my Blackberry Bold 9780 (February to be precise). I was extremely happy with its functioning aand it never gave me any problems...until yesterday. I have a Apple Macbook on which I have loaded the Desktop Software to backup my data, transfer music, photos, etc.Yesterday as soon as I connected my device to my computer it notified me that there were updates for my device and if I would like to install them. I ticked on the necessary options to backup my data and initiated the update process. That was the last time I saw my device working fine. It took a while to update after which it finally showed up on my desktop software. The OS was now 6.0 build 2647. I safely disconnected my phone to check whether everything was ok. At first glance it was all good and that was until I went into the setup app on my device and clicked on email set-up. It just showed a small loader for a microsecond but didn't respond. To make matters worse, I couldn't exit the setup app and the device just hung up. After a hard reset, it did manage to enter the email setup app, showed me two options (Internet mail account, Enterprise account). clicking on any one of them bought me back to the same hang where the device just froze. Multiple hard resets later, took another route to find the problem. This time through my email message inbox---->options---->account management. This is where is showed me a message which read that it was unable to load my account settings and I ned to contact my wireless service provider. 2 hours on the phone with the tech supervisor from Orange and half hour of security wipe, left me back to square one. Issue not resolved yet, device takes ages to start and flashes a red light everytime before it boots....and most importantly can't setup any new mail nor can update the settings of the current ones.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just received my Atrix HD today, and it refuses to recognize my verizon.net email address! I'm completely frustrated as to what to do. Every time I try to configure the email it says my password is incorrect. But of course, I can connect to my email fine from my home network via PC and laptop.I was really looking forward to using this phone. If it is a technical issue between Motorola and Verizon, I'll have no choice but to return the phone.

It only allows me to have one single email account in my 808, and it ask for username and domain when I try to add an email account...it forces me to write something in one of those field to let me go on... I have Hotmail...and it do let me sync and find my hotmail account just with my address written with password...and if I write for ex. a "O" in the domain field...but why? And why does it onlt let me sync one account? In my old N8 I could synd how many emails accounts I wanted and I just needed to chooce which type of account I had for ex. Hotmail, Gmail or something else...and I could have two withdgets ontop of eachother with different email accont in them....how do I get that on this new 808??
Is there another program than the so called "Exchange Activesync" to down load and use...like the old N8īs email program. If I cant not have my two hotmails accounts synced in my 808 it is totally worseless for me!
I have a BB 9700 and its setup with an exchance email account, a gmail account and an ATT account for emails.
Currently, all 3 emails go to the main. Is there a way to stop this from happening as its far too many mails coming into 1 location.
My bb bold was sent off for repaid and I picked it up yesterday and tried to load the 3 email accounts which were present on it before it went in for repaid. I have managed to load my hotmail account however when I try to load the other two email accounts it says that I need t verifiy the details. I have confirmed that the details are correct however I'm having no luck.

Having completed this I click on next but instead if getting a finish icon the software goes back to the page for adding a new account. If I then click on set up a new email account the screen goes blank apart from the word 'login' at top of page. I have managed to set up one email account, but this did not need the additional settings.Phone is curve 8900.On a related matter, is there way of temporarily suspending the email on phone with out actually deleting the account.

Using BB Bold 9700
Last week I bought a Bold 9700. I put in my SIM card and set up our 4 email accounts. All working fine. My husband has just gone aborad on business so has put his SIM card in it and is having problem downloading emails. I have bought another Bold 9700 for me so that we have one each now. Can I set up the device for the same 4 email accounts, so that we both have access to the accounts from our own device.
Also does he need to go through blackberry registration with his sim card so that he can access emails. As the device he is now using was originally set up with my sim inserted. He is abroad at the moment and is frantic that he may not be able to access his emails!! He is a bit of a technophobe, but from using the Bold 9700 with my sim card in he had no problem and found it very easy. Where have we gone wrong....
I while back after installing an update on my phone from the BB site. I am not sure what the update was it was a few months ago. I lost my email accounts. When trying to add them back by going into SETUP and then clicking on EMAIL ACCOUNTS nothing happens, no errors. It just sits there. I've wiped the device earlier today and still nothing happens when I click on the Email Accounts icon.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've got a new Blackberry Torch 9800 that was issued to me by my company. Needless to say it has my company email account on it and I've also just added my personal email account to it as well. In the 3 weeks since I first got the phone I've had only the corporate email account active and have thus become dependent on the New Message notifier icon at the top of the home screen.
When I see 1 or more new messages I no longer have any idea if it is a work email or a personal one. Any way to change the notifier icon for my personal email account so at a glance I can see how many items I have for either account. I know I could just turn off the notifier function for the personal account which would remove it from that notification area, but I'd really prefer not to do that, I just want some ability to tell the two apart at a glance.
Brand new Atrix owner here, new to Android. Every time I try to open the default Email app (2nd from the left on the dock), I can only see the "Set up existing accounts" screen where I can add stuff like myspace and facebook accounts. I am linked to a gmail and twitter account, but I can't figure out how to get to my gmail from here. (I can get to it fine from the gmail app.)
Is something wrong, or is this just an accounts set up app and not an email app at all?
I have been having difficulty accessing the email settings on my Blackberry Bold 9780.When I first got the phone I was able to set the email accounts up I wanted no problem. Since then however I cannot access the email accounts via the setup menu. The 'Email Accounts' menu is there however I cannot click / open it to access / view the accounts.
I phoned up this morning regarding the matter and they gave me a link to a website where I was able to re-activate the email accounts. Turns out they had been deactivated. I then turned off the phone, took the battery out and turned it on again. When I tried to access email accounts via setup I still could not open the email accounts. I then phoned them again and the woman had me delete all the service books after which I was re-sent them.Basically none of the above worked. I have no email tab within my selections and still cannot access emails.
I want to delete an email account on my Bold 9700. I click on setup, email acccount, internet mail account then nothing happens other than it takes me back to the set up menu screen. Seems to be stuck in a loop. I recently downloaded the new 6.0 OS.

I have successfully created my BB Account onto the Carrier Site and added the Email IDs these are reflected onto the device but as I am unable to open Email Accounts under Setup I am unable to Edit or Delete the Email Accounts which I don't won't on this Handle. Every time the Modifications have to be done by going to the Carrier website.
