I just received my Atrix HD today, and it refuses to recognize my verizon.net email address! I'm completely frustrated as to what to do. Every time I try to configure the email it says my password is incorrect. But of course, I can connect to my email fine from my home network via PC and laptop.I was really looking forward to using this phone. If it is a technical issue between Motorola and Verizon, I'll have no choice but to return the phone.
I am a new owner of Photon 4g. I used to have a HTC touch. I am getting "login failed. please try again" message when I try to setup my corporate email.
1> I have tried using both domainusername and just username with no success.
2> Also have tried setting up gmail as corporate account and later changing to the desired account settings as suggested in other forums and it still shows the same error.
3> I have also tried unchecking "verify certificate"
both me and my wife have the Atrix 4G and both have not been getting update of our Yahoo e-mail, for the same acct., since 1/11/12. I deleted the acct. and re added it. Now it keeps pulling up some emails. but not all. Also, non of the archive folders are there.We both have a gmail acct. too and those are updating fine.
After upgrading from gb to ics I am having problems decrypting digitally signed email in Exchange. I had a similar problem in gb but it only effected the attachements. Now I can't read the message in addition to the attachments.
I have *.cer, *.crt, and *.p7b files for certificates, but the exchange client on the Atrix 2 doesn't seem to accept them (looks like it only accepts *.p12 and *.pfx). I did manage to add the *.crt files to the credential storage storage section in the main settings window, but that doesn't seem to help with the exchange client.
My Email Accounts Icon will not open under Setup on my Bold 9930. Neither the push-to-touch or the hot button will open this set-up Icon. All other set-up Icons work okay. I've completely removed the battery and SIM card, but the problem remains.
I have changed the carrier from Vodafone to AIrcel. while i had vodafone connection i was able to access my personal mails (gmail and yahoo) however am unable to set up email now when am in Aircel conneciton. i have activated enterprise account.
So I have a Torch 9800 and I need to setup a new email on my phone. I already have one email on my phone, but I need this second one as well. However, everytime I try setting it up, I can't get past choosing what kind of email it is. It doesn't open the app and I get a message saying that I need to check with my wireless service provider.
I have been having trouble accessing my personal email settings once I log in to Existing Users and enter my user name and password I get a message saying " Blank user name. Type a valid user name"?
Received a meesage from Blackberry saying my gmail could no longer be delivered. I was instructed to enter setup and re-enter my password.
But clicking on mail within setup brings no setup options ...unlike the other like Blackberry Messenger or instant messaging. Once I have clicked on mail settings I find that I cannot exit setup at all (no problem if I select anything other than mail) and must turn off the deivice to restore capability.
This has probably occurred after an OS upgrade ? ..running 6.0 bundle 2534.. though until the Blackberry message I hadn't noticed a problem.
Is there a fix or is there the abilty to backout the upgrade ?
I while back after installing an update on my phone from the BB site. I am not sure what the update was it was a few months ago. I lost my email accounts. When trying to add them back by going into SETUP and then clicking on EMAIL ACCOUNTS nothing happens, no errors. It just sits there. I've wiped the device earlier today and still nothing happens when I click on the Email Accounts icon.
Ive just got my new BB Curve 3g but cant setup an email account. It just keeps asking for me to setup an enterprise account?? But i just want to use my existing hotmail account.Also I registered for the Blackerry bolt on, but dont know if its working yet because im unable to use the BBM or facebook app, but I can use the browser to access the web when im on WIFI.
When I tried to setup my personal email with my BB Pearl 8220 (T-Mobile), there was no option for a personal email account, only one for an enterprise account
i have been unable to access my email setup. I click on the icon and most times nothing happens, other times it goes to the next screen but that's it. I also can't access my personal email on the phone. Both my bb email acct and personal are there but only the bb email works. Is there a way to reinstall the email set up software or somewhere I can take the phone to have it done?
I bought this phone approximately 2 months ago. The dealer claimed the phone was new but upon usgae of the phone everyday, I began to believe otherwise. I have a full 4G internet plan on my phone and when I tried to setup my email for the first time, I was unable to access the option on my phone. Everytime I selected "setup internet mail account" , nothing happened. It was like the option didn't exist.Upon calling my service provider, I was informed that someone had my phone before and had their plan on it and it somehow blocked my ability to setup or change the previous email options and that it can only be accessed if I get the email address of the previous user, which is impossible because I bought it thinking it was new without any previous records. I tried everything! Factory restore etc! Nothing works because the option is somehow disabled. Is it possible to somehow rectify this situation? There must be some history attached to the PIN of this phone.
I have purchased a used bold 9700 and after I set up my email address I still getting old emails from the previous user! his email account is not set in email options. is there anything i can do about it ?
My unit is a Blackberry Curve 9300.I recently changed my password on my email accounts using my Mac. The same email accounts that were setup in my BB Curve.Having done this, I received a mail on my BB stating that I cannot receive emails from the accounts I changed my password on until I update the email setitings on my BB.So I go to SETUP, click EMAIL ACCOUNTS and I was asked, "Are you ready for your device updates?". I click YES and I was brought to a browser with a link "DOWNLOAD MAIL SETUP" which I clicked. And then the phone hangs.I restarted but now I cannot seem to access the "EMAIL ACCOUNTS" link on the setup folder so I can update my password. When I click, nothing happens.

I am trying to set up my email using POP. the problem is in "login information" my username suppose to be "abc@blabla.com" but it only appear as "abc" thus my blackberry is unable to sign in to the email that i want to set up; and i cannot edit this area because it is set automatically by my device. Before i used Curve 8310 with v4.5 i can sucessfully create similar account becuase the login appear to be "xyz@blabla.com" instead of just "xyz" in username space. I hope you can undestand my problem,

Ive been tryiong to log into my gmail account and everytime i make an attemp i get the same reply. "UNABLE TO SETUP EMAIL ACCOUNT. PLEASE CHECK YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD". Ive type in my name and password correctly numerous times. Ive even tried 2 different gmail accounts, yet i keep geting the same response. All my other email accounts work find but my gmail doesnt. I am having problem in setting up my email. I have used the Nokia Messaging Email application for over a year now, without problems. I had to perform a complete reset on my phone (Nokia N79 v30.019). However, upon trying to re-install Nokia Messaging Email software, I can't get past the setup process, as I get an error message saying "Unable to connect to server. Try again later.", right after I choose the email service I wish to use. Shouldn't I be asked for my Nokia Email account login at this point, and not which Email service I would like to use? Is the server down or is it a problem with handset?
I recently updated to the new OS version, but when I went to set up my email accounts again, it's says "Sorry, unable able to continue your session. Please log in again." I know for a fact that the passwords are correct because it allows me to see the passwords.
I recently got a new Blackberry and wanted to setup my email, by doing this on a new phone my email account assumed it was being hacked so shut down! I have now created a new email account, but am unable to set it up on my blackberry. I have had my phone for ages and all of a sudden it will not connect to my work gmail account. It's telling me my user name or password is incorrect and even thought I make sure, shut the phone down and restart it, it still says the same. When I delete and try to set it up again it tells me can not connect to imap?
I have Corporate Sync set up with my company Exchange server for contacts only. Worked fine initially, but has been on and off again last few weeks. It is randomly not showing the Exchange contacts. At times they are all there, other times not. I'm not positive, but I think this issue started after the 1.57 upgrade. Incredibly frustrating when you're out and need to make a call and the contact isn't there.....If I update my credentials for the account, it shows "Updating service" and seems to finish fine - Not getting any password or connection errors.
