I used to only have to enter my password for email ,banking and other sites like these because my user name was always saved but now when i click on "keep me logged in" nothing happens and i have to enter all my info for every site i'm on now every time i go on them, very annoying.

Mar 27, 2014Basically the town where I live (lets call it Town A) is about 20 mins away from the town where I work (Town B). When i'm at work, everything seems to be fine. My phone recognises my correct location & the town name displays correctly on the clock/weather widget on my home screen, Google maps etc.
However, the problems start when I drive home to "Town A" at the end of the day. For some reason when I get home, my phone is still convinced that i'm back near my place of work. The clock/weather widget displays the name of Town B where I work rather than Town A where I live.
When i'm at home & I open Google Maps to see a visual representation of where my phone thinks I am, it shows me near to, but not exactly at, my place of work. If I click the "My Location" icon, it will sometimes update & show my correct position at home. As a result the clock/weather widget then updates to show the correct town name. However, within a few minutes it updates again & reverts back to displaying the town name for where I work.
Interestingly i know that there is a cell phone mast about half a mile away from the location near to my work that Google Maps incorrectly pinpoints me at when at home, so it appears the phone is trying to triangulate my position from phone mast locations? Despite the fact that i have location mode set to high accuracy, so it should be using mast locations, WiFi and GPS to pinpoint my accurate position?
Bizarrely, this is the only time the location functions play up. All other times it seems to work correctly.
Galaxy S5 :: Where Is Photo Saving Location
Jun 25, 2015I have a Galaxy s5 with 5.0. I recently had to do a factory reset. Now when I long press a photo from the net the photos do not show up in my gallery. They can be found in the file manager but not in the gallery. Prior to the factory reset it saved directly to the gallery. Photos taken with the camera appear in the gallery but they are the only ones that are displayed in the gallery. What am I missing?

Jul 8, 2012I updated the software on my phone a few weeks ago, which resulted in the phone turning itself off constantly. However, when I take a picture it looks as if its saved, but when I go to the media files a little later all I see is a picture icon not the actual picture.
When I use the video camera it seems to save and I have been able to view once or twice, but after a period of time the file turns into a music file with no video. This has resulted in several videos of my baby daughter being lost and being replace by the same music.
I have followed the advice on the forum by deleting .dat files from the folders. This has resulted in the pictures taken since the upgrade disappearing altogether. The only way I can keep a picture is by emailing it to myself instantly.
LG G4 :: Photo Not Saving When Exiting Camera App Immediately After Taking Picture
Jul 30, 2015If I take a picture, let the LG Camera app click (and sort of flash the screen), then immediately hit the Back button to exit the Camera app, the picture does not actually save.
I noticed this the other day, and just tried reproducing it. Take a picture, letting the camera click and actually take the picture. But before the Gallery thumbnail in the bottom-right corner of the Camera app has a chance to update, immediately hit the Back button to exit. Then go to the Gallery and see if the picture is there.
On my phone, it's as though I never took the picture at all. I have Verizon, on software 611A, and I am saving to the 32GB SD card from the LG promo.
I have lost at least 1 picture already from this. It would seem to me that if the camera clicks, then the picture should officially have been taken, and the app should definitely save it before exiting, even if it has to finish the process in the background.
If you take a picture on a normal digital camera, then immediately hit the power button, the camera will likely give a message like "Camera is busy", or something similar, preventing it from shutting down until it's finished.

May 10, 2015Today I made some pictures with my Phone (Lumia 1520, WP8.1, Lumia Denim) using Lumia Camera 5.0. I wanted to view them afterwards and they didn't show up in the photo album. When I went to the Lumia Camera app and then to Album, they were showing but in the top left corner it said "processing" (not sure if this is correct, it was "verwerken" in Dutch). Short: the app got stuck in saving the pictures. They also did not show up in the folder when I connected it to my pc.
I tried to look up on the internet to find a solution but couldn't find one. I did a soft reset on my phone and then these pictures were all gone... But not the .TMP, .TNL, . THM-files. (which are only used for Living Images I believe). After the soft reset the app works fine again and saves the pictures like normal.

Mar 20, 2014Issues with the recorded video not being saved? Seems like a bug / glitch somewhere that's preventing the video from being saved. The recording phase looks fine, but afterwards, the video cannot be found anywhere.
This is done using the Nokia Camera (4.5.1.7) with the latest firmware ( 3051.40000.1345.1006) and dev OS version (8.0.1521.155). A restart seems to fix the problem for a period of time, but it's not really a good work around / solution,

WIth the builtin Bing maps however (which is not directly accessible, but for example when clicking on a contact's address), traffic info works just fine. I'm in Germany, so it's not about the coverage.

Now when I try and open "Extras + info", I get a "Resuming" message for a split second, then i'm thrown back to the "System" page. Is there any way to un-install, then re-install?
